Chapter 71: “My Cute Little Sister”
Xu Xiaofeng stormed back with a book in her hands, ready to complain to Elia.
“Sister, you absolutely must ban all of this guy’s books! They’re terrible!”
After he tricked her subordinates, he had now directly bullied her, Xu Xiaofeng!
Sure, she brought it on herself this time, but regardless, she was going to ban him!
Elia was a bit confused, but banning books and authors was within her power. However, she was curious about what the book had done to annoy her sister so much.
And thus, it was Steven’s moment to shine.
After hearing Steven’s description, Elia collapsed onto the table, laughing so hard she was about to burst. She completely forgot about her image!
Amelia, on the other hand, struggled to keep a straight face, turning away from time to time.
Steven was quite impressive, not laughing at all—he’d already gotten his giggles out beforehand.
Xu Xiaofeng’s face was as red as a tomato, unsure whether it was from embarrassment or anger.

Elia finally realized that her little sister was just a kid at heart. With childish ideas and thoughts, this was perfectly normal.
So what should you do with such an adorable little sister? Spoil her, of course!

And she didn’t hesitate to spill all of Steven’s secrets.

Amelia shot Steven a glance: “Stalking little kids, I didn’t know you were that kind of guy. And you got caught too! Tsk, tsk…”
Steven looked like he was on the verge of tears: “Miss, this isn’t fair. Amelia, don’t look at me like that, I’m just trying to protect your safety.”
After hearing the whole story, Elia frowned: “Little Wind, how did you figure him out?”
“I just sensed it! He didn’t hide well.”
Elia looked at Steven, then smiled at Xu Xiaofeng: “Seems like Little Wind is pretty sharp.”
“Of course! I’m already a Bronze Level Adventurer!”
“Wow, Little Wind is impressive.” Elia gently ruffled her hair, “Speaking of which, I have a celebration event tomorrow. There will be activities for recommended adventurers to participate in. Would you like to come?”
Xu Xiaofeng immediately blurted, “Absolutely!”
An event? Count me in! Do you even know what those two words mean to a Player?
“Alright, Amelia will pick you up tomorrow, and we’ll go in together. Now, let’s eat something.”
Next came the most high-stakes part: eating… buff grinding. Xu Xiaofeng could hardly wait.
“Ah woo!”
She devoured her food with even less restraint than yesterday.
Steven was left speechless, utterly dumbfounded by the scene before him.
Just hearing about her appetite yesterday was shocking, witnessing it firsthand today was like a ten-pound bomb dropped on him.
How in the world does this kid manage to down a cake the size of her fist in one bite? And her stomach doesn’t even seem to budge! Do kids really have four stomachs?
Elia and Amelia were much calmer about it; they figured it was just a case of unusual behavior in an unusual kid.
But watching Xu Xiaofeng in action, Elia felt her hands itch.
“Little Wind, how about you come sit closer? I can feed you.”
“Sure!”
She didn’t mind one bit. After all, if she had two hands free for feeding as well, why not enjoy, right?
Next thing she knew, she was being lifted up and placed on Elia’s lap…
“Huh?”
“What’s wrong, Little Wind? Eat up.”
“Oh.”
Sitting wherever still means eating, and buff grinding is serious business!
However, the occasional soft sensation on her back made her lose focus.
“Um, sister, maybe I should just get down…”
Elia was gently stroking her hair with one hand, while the other raised a pastry to her lips. The hood was long forgotten.
“What is it?”
Looking at Xu Xiaofeng’s flushed face and straightened back, Elia instantly understood.
“Hehe, Little Wind is worried about this, huh?” She embraced her more tenderly, pulling her in even closer, “Don’t worry! Once you grow up a bit more, you’ll be developing too.”
Xu Xiaofeng stiffened even more.
De… Developing? That sounds reasonable, but wait! Isn’t that too stimulating?!
Noting Xu Xiaofeng’s deepening blush, Elia grinned mischievously: “Oh dear, Little Wind, you’re adorable! I didn’t realize you were at that age where you’d consider this stuff—what a cute little worry!”
At this scene, Steven could only turn away to avoid watching, while Amelia’s eyes sparkled with excitement.
How wonderful! How enviable!
Was she envious of Elia, or Xu Xiaofeng? Or maybe both?

Xu Xiaofeng internally sighed, feeling like she had missed out. How come just now her situation didn’t seem so bad?

Xu Xiaofeng began to simmer with a little fury, chomping down fiercely.
Noticing the little guy in her arms moving around, Elia chuckled once more.
