**Chapter 218: Yu Yao: Is Yu Mo Here Too?**
In the classroom, Bai Feng stepped out after finishing a day’s worth of classes.

He then stopped in front of Chu Chu’s door. Despite a wall separating them, he could still “see” Chu Chu practicing her swordplay.

A black cloth was still covering her face, but unlike the ragged one before, this new fabric had some nice patterns on it. Bai Feng and Yu Yao had designed it together; the patterns weren’t just for show—they could help her assist with Array Plates and observe the world better.
“By the way, have you grown taller again?” Bai Feng scratched his chin, eyeing her up. “Not just taller, but certain… areas have developed a bit too.”
“Uh, maybe a little,” Chu Chu replied, blushing awkwardly. “Yu Yao took my measurements this morning, saying she’s going to make me a new outfit.”
“If Yu Yao pulls out something weird, you can say no. Don’t just let her go wild with it,” Bai Feng cautioned.
“…Mm.”
Chu Chu nodded, secretly curious about what Bai Feng meant by “weird clothes.” Could it be something cute for little girls?
“Well, I’ll head back now. If you need anything, just let me know.”
Chu Chu felt a little sad. While Bai Feng’s Array Plate still helped her observe the world, it couldn’t compare to how it felt when he was around—like she had truly regained her sight. If it weren’t for the black cloth over her eyes, she might have even believed it!
“Nothing, thanks.” She forced a smile. “Please be careful on your way.”
“Mm, you should get some rest too.”
Bai Feng waved and left the room.
Chu Chu stayed put, watching Bai Feng’s retreating figure until the darkness closed in again.
She didn’t rush to use the Array Plate but instead stood still, soaking in the darkness for a few minutes. With a soft sigh, she lightly tapped her bamboo sword on the ground and made her way back inside.

“Little Junior Brother, how’s your teaching going?” On the way back, Yu Yao stretched her arms and yawned. “I’ve started trialing the game you mentioned in the shop, and it’s packed every day! Lots of people are asking when it’s going to be for sale.”
“Soon! I’ve assigned Fang Yue to break down the ‘game cartridges.’ With her talent, it should only take a few days,” Bai Feng suddenly had a brilliant idea and said to Yu Yao, “Hey, why not set aside a shop space just for an Image Retainer? But Yu Yao wasn’t listening. She hugged Bai Feng’s arm tightly and smiled. “Hey, when you have time, come to my place! I’ve got a little reward for you.”
“Don’t tell me you plan on hiding in your room when I get there?” Bai Feng teased.
“No, no, I wouldn’t do that!” Yu Yao shook her head vigorously, but her conviction wavered a little. By the end, her voice turned a bit softer. “How about I just give you my key, and you can come in directly?”

If you don’t have the guts, don’t go suggesting stuff like that!

Bai Feng sighed, realizing they had finally arrived.
“Seriously, just give me a tiny hint!” Yu Yao pouted, tightening her grip on his arm. “Now I’m too scared to open the door!”
“I’ll open it for you.”
Without hesitation, Bai Feng pushed the door open.
And then they both spotted Bai Yu Mo sitting at the table, her expression as blank as ever.
“Eh? Yu Mo is here too?” Yu Yao instantly felt a bit guilty and let go of Bai Feng’s arm.
Bai Feng was surprised as well, because not only was there a cake on the table, but a whole spread of food, clearly made by Bai Yu Mo herself!
