Little Jiu reached out and touched the bell on her neck with a puzzled look. “Why a collar? You really are… a human.”
“I made you a ring; do you think you can wear that? Plus, your current look wouldn’t be suitable for a belt,” Bai Feng immediately countered before she could speak. “Or do you want earrings?”
Little Jiu thought about it and shuddered at the idea of piercing her ears. She quickly shook her head. “Let’s stick with the collar!”
Then she reached out to play with the bell on her neck, which chimed sweetly.
She looked up in confusion and asked, “How do I use this?”
“Just think ‘Transform,’ and a tiny glowing circle will appear in front of you. When it passes through your body, you can change form.”
“Oh!”
Little Jiu nodded, feeling that it sounded pretty fun.
So she opened her mouth and shouted, “Transform!!”
In an instant, the collar on her neck emitted a golden glow and transformed into a golden halo. The halo was decorated with intricate patterns that looked super complicated but cool.
As it slowly approached and passed through her, she felt like something was added to her.
A fox insignia appeared on her forehead. The next second, a suit of silver-white ‘armor’ spread from her forehead downward, enveloping her whole body and nine tails.
“Oh wow!”
Little Jiu hopped excitedly on the spot, gazing down at her silver-white armor. Although it looked metallic, she didn’t feel much weight—no awkward heft—and it looked sleek and agile.
The armor had faint pink patterns, and even though her tails were wrapped, they didn’t look heavy or hindered. It wasn’t metal trapping her tail; rather, it seemed to be something else. Plus, her mask had narrow red-shadowed eyes that made her look sly and charming—classic fox lady style.
“How do you feel?”
Bai Feng and Yu Yao looked satisfied with this armor they designed together. The only downside? For beauty and transformation, it sacrificed a bit of defense. In fact, Bai Feng could probably knock Little Jiu to the ground with one punch and break her transformation.
“Pretty good! Slightly different from what I imagined, but it looks great,” Little Jiu said, surprised. She thought Bai Feng would make her some sort of mechanical fox puppet like in the simulation secret realm. Instead, he made her this armor.
Much better than she expected!
“I’m glad you like it. When someone asks about it, just say you’re practicing a special technique,” Bai Feng said casually.
“Okay! Okay!”
Little Jiu reached out to touch her armor, then glanced back at her tail. Suddenly, her tail flickered with ‘flames,’ making her exclaim in shock.
Just then, Bai Feng’s leave photo device buzzed, and he looked at it. The Southern Region monster tribe had arrived.
He lowered his voice to Little Jiu, who was still inspecting her armor. “The foxes from the Southern Region are here. Do you want to come with me or hide here in my place?”
“Already so fast?” Little Jiu shifted her attention from her armor as she pondered for a moment. “Then I’ll go with you. I can’t just let you handle those despicable monsters alone.”
Bai Feng was a bit surprised. “Wow, you’re brave. I thought you’d hide out and not show up.”
Little Jiu proudly lifted her chin. “I’m a Nine-Tailed Fox! How could I just hide behind a human like you?”
“Really?” Bai Feng looked skeptical. He remembered how she hadn’t been so brave before.
“Really!” Little Jiu nodded confidently, but when her gaze met Bai Feng’s suspicious look, she averted her eyes. “I’m not lying. It’s just that the owner told me a few things, and I realized avoiding everything isn’t the answer.”

Bai Feng shook his head helplessly. “Alright then, follow me.”
A few minutes later, at Green Bamboo Peak, Bai Feng greeted a few fox clan visitors. Several Heavenly Sword Sect disciples were chatting nearby.

While she hid, Bai Feng didn’t rush out but opened his system.

After a quick scan confirmed no hidden Child of Destiny among the foxes, he stepped out.
The nearby Heavenly Sword Sect disciples greeted him: “Senior Brother Bai!”
“Leave this to me. You guys go first,” Bai Feng waved them off, then turned to speak to the fox guests with a smile. “I am Bai Feng of the Heavenly Sword Sect. May I ask what brings you here?”
“Is this Bai Feng? He looks even younger than I thought!”
“Truly impressive for someone so young!”
“Shame about the distance between the North and South Regions. I wish my sister could meet him.”
“Cough!” Su coughed loudly, breaking the whispering. Her face wore a hint of embarrassment. “Hello, I’m Su… Rong Rong. Just call me Su.”
She slightly averted her gaze when mentioning her name, seeming a little shy about it.
