Chapter 342: Bai Feng: Turn Back!
After finishing discussing work and making arrangements for the younger generation of the family, Qiao Qiao let out a relieved sigh. She then turned her gaze once again to Bai Feng, who was leisurely sipping juice.
Her mind kept replaying the moment she was enchanted. Seriously, getting completely dominated in her best field—how could she possibly not care? Come on, her pride was hurt!
“If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave now,” Bai Feng said after draining the last drop of juice from his teacup. He stood up smoothly.
But in a flash, Qiao Qiao was right behind him, darting over with a big smile. “Hold on! Can I ask you a quick question, Young Master Bai? If you don’t mind, it’s something that keeps me up at night—literally!”
“About the enchantment earlier?”
Qiao Qiao nodded cheerfully. “Yes, you’re so perceptive, Young Master Bai! First, I want to apologize for that little slip-up—the enchantment just reacted instinctively. If I’ve offended you, I’m willing to accept whatever punishment.”
“It’s quite simple,” Bai Feng said with a gentle shake of his head. “I dabble a bit in Illusion Art myself. Array formations are my specialty, especially Illusion Arrays. If you doubt my skill, you can use all your strength to cast enchantment on me now.”
“Well, since you say so, I guess I have no choice,” Qiao Qiao said without hesitation. She didn’t really believe Bai Feng’s illusions surpassed her—yet she was eager to test him nonetheless.
In the next moment, her eyes turned pink, and her fox ears along with her six fluffy tails appeared. Even those features were now tinged with pink.
Bai Feng took a few glances at her, lingering a bit longer on her fox ears and tails.
Then, he took a step forward as if unaffected, walking past her with calm confidence. Qiao Qiao, on the other hand, seemed almost controlled, her eyes tracking his movements.
As he reached behind her, he reached out and gave her fox tail a gentle ruffle—though honestly, it wasn’t as comfy as Little Jiu’s tail.
After a quick touch, Bai Feng prepared to walk away. But suddenly, Qiao Qiao snapped her legs shut, squatting on the ground. She clasped her hands over her chest, her heart pounding fiercely.
All her efforts—the attempt to enchant Bai Feng—had not just failed but had bounced back, intensifying upon herself. If she weren’t so skilled in Illusion Art, she reckoned she’d be a drooling fool by now, obsessed with Bai Feng.
Taking a few deep breaths, she slowly turned her head to watch Bai Feng’s departing back. Then she toyed with her tongue, licking her lips, smiling softly. “Young Master Bai, could I possibly learn Illusion Art from you in the future?”
Bai Feng’s steps didn’t stop. He simply raised a hand in a gentle wave. “Sure, consider it an extra employee perk.”
Watching Bai Feng’s figure vanish from sight, Qiao Qiao opened her mouth, lightly biting her finger. Her pink eyes shimmered with strange light—oh, her days ahead are going to be so exciting!
…
Bai Feng rubbed his eyes, slightly dry. The Nine-Tailed Fox’s enchantment really was strong. Too bad he had the Yin-Yang Pattern and was cultivating his God Realm Technique.
His reason for letting Qiao Qiao go all out was simple—since he’d decided to absorb some Nine-Tailed Foxes from the Southern Region, he had to ensure they obeyed. No shenanigans allowed.
The best way to do that was to utterly crush what they’re best at. Since Qiao Qiao excelled at Illusion Art, that was just perfect. After this, she’d probably think twice about any little schemes.
Of course, he wouldn’t go too harsh—just a firm hit followed by a gentle reward. That’s why he didn’t refuse Qiao Qiao’s last plea.
After dealing with the Southern Region foxes, he headed home.
Seeing Little Snow napping on the sofa, he casually scooped her up and stroked her gently.
‘Feels like I haven’t seen Little Snow in ages. Is her recent breakthrough into Yuan Ying the reason she’s finally out?’
He looked down at her comfy snore and couldn’t help giving her a couple more affectionate strokes.
Next second, Little Snow suddenly poofed into a petite girl, straddling Bai Feng’s leg—completely n*ked. “Master, you’re back?”
“…Turn back into normal.”
“Huh?”
“Turn back!”
“Why?”
Little Snow looked puzzled and a little wronged—did her master dislike her after the shape-shift?
Bai Feng was silent for a few moments before lifting her with a sigh. “Forget it. I’ll ask Yu Yao to give you some clothes. By the way, didn’t you tell Yu Yao about your transformation?”
“No, I just broke through and came straight to you.” Little Snow shook her head. “I wanted to surprise you.”
“Surprise is there,” Bai Feng said with a sigh, gently poking her forehead. “But you should still wear clothes—no running around n*ked in the human world!”
“I was just too excited…”
Little Snow looked down at herself and pinpointed the issue, but she didn’t feel shy at all. One—Bai Feng was her master, and two—he had already explored her body thoroughly. Nothing to shy about in front of him!
A few seconds later, Bai Feng pushed open Yu Yao’s door. Immediately, he heard hurried footsteps.
“Coming, coming! Little junior, today you…”
Yu Yao rushed in, eyes widening as she saw the nearly n*ked girl in Bai Feng’s arms. “Who is she? Where did you get her? And her clothes—where are they?”
“Calm down, senior sister. She’s Little Snow,” Bai Feng said, one hand on Yu Yao’s shoulder. “She’s already in the Yuan Ying Stage and has transformed.”
“Little Snow?” Yu Yao froze for a second, then glared at the girl in Bai Feng’s arms, sounding a bit jealous. “Why did Little Snow come to you first after transforming?”
“Ask the little Snow owner who even pushes feeding onto me,” Bai Feng replied casually.
“Hmm…” Yu Yao held her chest, looking a bit hurt. “Got it. I’ll pay more attention to her from now on. Little Snow, you want clothes, right? Come, let me measure you.”
“I think it’s easier if Little Snow just wears your clothes,” Bai Feng said from behind, shrugging.
Because Little Snow’s size is smaller than a normal cat, her new form was similar in height to Yu Yao.
“Can’t do that. My clothes don’t have room for a tail,” Yu Yao exclaimed, excited. “I already have a new idea—just wait and see!”
She had previously tried to coax Little Jiu, but no luck. Today, she caught another beast-eared girl—her own pet. From now on, whatever Little Snow wears—she’d wear!
