Chapter 126: I Want to Sleep with Brother Dragon
“Hold on, I almost forgot,” said Dragon Brother as he returned to his bedroom and pulled out a can of cookies. “This is for you, Li Qing Xue asked me to give it to you.”
Hu Yu Ying grinned. “Brother Dragon likes to eat, so I give all of these to him.” She already told herself this through her phone because Li Qing Xue had relayed it.
But honestly, whether she ate them or not, since Brother Dragon liked to eat, she might as well give everything to him.
“Here, take it. You didn’t get to have any last time, and Li Qing Xue kept nagging me about it for ages,” she added.
“You’re even natter than me,” whined Dragon Brother.
“But honestly, these cookies are really tasty this time. Give it a try,” Hu Yu Ying urged, eyeing the cookies in her hand.
She watched Hu Yu Ying lightly nod. “When we get to Kyoto, I want to make some delicious food for Qing Xue too.”
After riding her bike back to her rented house, she hadn’t been here in a week and felt this place was even more beautiful than her own home.
“Brother Dragon, today do you wanna have spicy fried chicken or duck bl**d vermicelli soup?” Hu Yu Ying asked as she headed inside, ready to cook.
“Wait a sec. I just finished breakfast not long ago,” he replied.
“Oh, you haven’t eaten yet?” she inquired.
Hu Yu Ying shook her head. “No, I’m not hungry.”
Back when she was alone, she hardly ever ate breakfast—only when Brother Dragon was around would she bother.
“Come on, let’s eat breakfast.” Before she finished her words, she had already pulled Hu Yu Ying out the door again.
Now, Hu Yu Ying had earned enough for tuition, living expenses, and even saved a little for her grandparents. She still had some money left, so she didn’t feel too worried.
…
Lying on her small bed, Hu Yu Ying turned her head to look at Dragon Brother, a faint smile in her beautiful eyes. “Brother Dragon.”
“Hmm, what’s up?” he responded softly.
“I’m a little nervous and excited,” she said, taking a deep breath. Her delicate collarbone rose with each breath, revealing a perfect arc.
“Don’t be nervous or excited. Brother Dragon is here—close your eyes and relax,” he soothed gently.
Hu Yu Ying obediently nodded but cast a quick glance outside, her expression still tinged with reluctance.
The first time she visited this city, she was just as excited and a bit scared. Although she had been bullied here, she also met Brother Dragon.
Now that she’s about to leave, she feels a twinge of reluctance.
Lying on the narrow bed in the dorm, she couldn’t sleep and was afraid that if she sleeps too soundly, her stuff might get stolen.
She sighed softly. Wearing ice silk pants, which were super comfy but too tight, with the hidden pocket she stitched herself, carrying a few things made it slightly obvious.
Brother Dragon wouldn’t let her keep things in her bag, but she felt insecure leaving them outside.
“Brother Dragon, what are you doing?” she whispered.
“Looking at stocks,” he replied. He switched to a new phone—clunky old phones couldn’t run certain apps, but a smartphone made it much easier.
Hu Yu Ying blinked. “Brother Dragon, do you know about stocks?”
Dragon Brother shook his head decisively. “Not really. But I do know what to buy now to make money.”
“Really?”
“Want to try investing a little?” Seeing her tiny face, Dragon Brother chuckled.
Hu Yu Ying shook her head. “No, I think I’ll pass.”
She still preferred to keep her small amount of money with her—feeling more secure that way.
Dragon Brother just smiled. Some things are simple; some require patience to understand. His job was to not interfere with Hu Yu Ying’s path.
She had her own route to walk. It’s not that interfering is wrong, but her life rightfully belonged to her.
From nothing, Dragon Brother was quite satisfied with his modest assets now.
He wasn’t especially talented, but he planned to buy a few properties in Kyoto and Qianzhen during the next couple of years when the housing market crashed.
His current assets weren’t enough yet, but some coin—cryptocurrency—was about to surge to 30 dollars in the first wave of crazy rise. Dragon Brother decided to cash out then.
After this surge, the coin would plummet, so he’d cash out big now and buy again after the big drop, because it was destined to grow wildly afterward!
Hu Yu Ying shifted her body to look at Dragon Brother, hand resting on her cheek, gazing intently at his focused face on the phone.
“Brother Dragon, you’re really kind.”
“You’re pretty handsome yourself.”
“You’re the most gentle Brother Dragon.”
She finished her praises and took a deep breath, gradually feeling her cheeks cool without blushing anymore. Feeling proud, she smirked. “Look, Brother Dragon, I didn’t blush this time. Am I finally becoming thick-skinned?”
At that moment, Dragon Brother’s hand paused slightly, without turning to look at her. He faced the wall instead.
Although she couldn’t see his face, she could tell his ears were red.
Grinning mischievously, Hu Yu Ying teased, “Brother Dragon, are you blushing?”
“Stop talking nonsense. If you’re blushing, I wouldn’t be,” he said, voice steady.
Hu Yu Ying said nothing more—she already knew the truth.
No use arguing with a guy’s stubborn mouth.
Sleeping on the train wasn’t easy. Neither Dragon Brother nor Hu Yu Ying were feeling sleepy yet.
From the bay to Kyoto, it was about eleven hours. They expected to arrive between 8:50 and 9:00 tomorrow morning.
“Brother, I can’t sleep,” Hu Yu Ying confessed.
“Then what do you want to do?” he asked.
Her face flushed, lips slightly parted, innocent and pure, she looked at Dragon Brother. “I want to sleep with you… Only with you, I won’t get bullied~~”
Hearing this, Dragon Brother’s body stiffened immediately.
But seeing her pitiful expression and perhaps out of habit, he finally let out a sigh. “Can’t do much with you, huh? Just this once… come here.”
“But you can’t touch me, okay?” he added seriously.
“Okay, okay. I got it. I’ll be good, thank you, Brother Dragon,” Hu Yu Ying cheered, happily pulling back the blanket and slipping into his quilt.
…
Hu Yu Ying blinked her eyes at Dragon Brother, who was already asleep, still smiling in his dreams—she didn’t quite understand.
“Who knows what kind of wonderful dream Brother Dragon is having—he’s smiling so beautifully.”
Listening to his light snores, her mind drifted back to their first meeting. Back then, Brother Dragon just said he’d study hard, then immediately fell asleep.
Exactly the same as now—he looked so energetic just a moment ago, scrolling his phone, and the next second, he was out cold.
She stealthily took out her phone and snapped a picture of him sleeping.
Then she reclined on her own bed, staring at the photo on her screen, her spirits lifting even more.
As dawn approached, Hu Yu Ying casually placed her phone and bag under her pillow, then closed her eyes for a brief moment…
【Wishing everyone sweet dreams too.】
