“I was planning to cook something tasty for you when I got to Kyoto, but housing is so expensive here, it’s just not easy. The little cake is really good, though! If I get the chance, I’ll whip something up for you.”
Hu Yu Ying truly cherished her friendship with Li Qing Xue.
Before she met Dragon Brother, she didn’t have any friends.

“Do we even have to ask?” another roommate chuckled.
“Yu Ying, are you and Xue Shao Hua…?” Unable to contain her gossiping spirit, the three roommates exchanged glances and leaned in with eager smiles.
Hearing her name in the same sentence as Xue Shao Hua made Hu Yu Ying furrow her brows, confused. “What?”
Seeing Hu Yu Ying’s puzzled expression, the three girls giggled behind their hands. “Come on, today Xue Shao Hua asked us for your contact info! You two are definitely talking!”
At this, Hu Yu Ying’s pretty brows knitted tighter as she shook her head, insisting, “No way.”
She fished out her phone and opened Penguin Chat; sure enough, there was a friend request waiting.
Ignoring it, she turned to her three roommates, “My happiness has nothing to do with Xue Shao Hua. Please don’t spread rumors—I have someone I like!”
The three roommates were taken aback for a moment, but then quickly apologized.
Before this, they had no idea Hu Yu Ying already had someone in her heart; they just thought someone was after her and figured they could play matchmaker.
