Xue Shao Hua stared at the friend request on his phone that was taking forever to be approved, his face a blend of emotions that could only be described as “unbelievably bad.”

The others didn’t say much in response; after all, since ancient times, beautiful girls were never short on suitors.

“Let’s go grab some drinks! It’s on me!” Xue Shao Hua needed something to lift his spirits.

After their eyes met, the guy’s lips curled into a self-assured grin, and he flicked his hair like he was in a shampoo commercial.

Seeing Xue Shao Hua’s pose, the man frowned slightly, then looked down at a 45-degree angle, before slowly lifting his gaze.
In that brief standoff, Xue Shao Hua stared intensely at him. With that high-profile vibe, this guy was definitely not just anyone—time to get serious!
Noting the seriousness in Xue Shao Hua’s eyes, the man chuckled and approached him, hands still shoved in his pockets. “Let’s introduce ourselves; I’m Liang Chen, Ye Liang Chen!”
As he reached out, Xue Shao Hua’s brows relaxed a bit as he reciprocated, “Xue Shao Hua.”
Liang Chen grinned even wider, pulling out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, lighting one up like the true cool kid he thought he was. He took a deep drag and closed his eyes, savoring it with an expression of bliss before slowly exhaling, “Do you smoke?”
Xue Shao Hua nodded. He didn’t usually smoke, but seeing how suave Liang Chen looked doing it, he was tempted to try.
“I heard you say you’re going after Hu Yu Ying?”
Xue Shao Hua shot a glare at Liang Chen. “What does that have to do with you?”
Liang Chen merely scoffed and said nothing.
Ever since he learned Dragon Brother was in Kyoto too, he was sure Hu Yu Ying had also arrived. So, today he treated his dorm buddies to a meal, then thought he’d saunter over to A University and check things out.
To his surprise, he overheard someone so shamelessly claiming they wanted to pursue his former treasure girl!
He had to admit Xue Shao Hua had some swagger, but he was clearly still just a rookie compared to himself.
Hearing Xue Shao Hua confidently say, “What does that have to do with you?” made Liang Chen laugh suddenly. “What if you compare me?”
He tilted his head with a self-assured smile and flicked his hair again!
Watching the stunned look on Xue Shao Hua’s face, Liang Chen patted his shoulder, then casually stuffed his hands back in his pockets.
That move? Total style points!
“But the guy next to her isn’t you!” Xue Shao Hua shot back, clearly feeling the sting of Liang Chen’s confidence.
Liang Chen, who was just about to leave, suddenly darkened. He knew exactly who Xue Shao Hua was referring to with that “guy.”
His hands were clenched tight; d*mn it!
Not only had that j*rk claimed Hu Yu Ying, but he was also after Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning, leaving no stone unturned!
Facing away from Xue Shao Hua, Liang Chen tilted his head to the sky and took a deep breath. “Who can guarantee it won’t be me?”
Watching Liang Chen walk away, a sly smile crept onto Xue Shao Hua’s face. “Things are getting interesting!”
