Chapter 225: Spoil Them to d*ath
Ye Liang Chen and Xue Shao Hua’s little episode didn’t faze Dragon Brother (Male). Nope, just a minor hiccup on his epic ride.
Because he could totally tell Hu Yu Ying (Female) was really ticked off at Ye Liang Chen. The way she scrunched her brows when he mentioned Xue Shao Hua earlier? Yup, crystal clear—like a neon sign saying “Stay away.”
The two held hands and strolled into the subway entrance hall. Not long after, Li Qing Xue (Female) and Lin Wan Ning (Female) sauntered over, giggling like mischievous kittens.
In the crowded crowd, you could spot these two tiny joys instantly—like head-turning landmarks. Same for Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning—they zeroed right in on Dragon Brother and Hu Yu Ying. Waving their hands cheerfully, they hurried over.
Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning’s sights ignored Dragon Brother (Male) entirely, sticking like glue on Hu Yu Ying. Seeing this, Hu Yu Ying’s body twitched a little—like a frightened little bunny—and she squeezed closer to Ge Ge (Brother).
At this little move, Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning weren’t having it—they snatched Hu Yu Ying up in one swift motion, making her flail like a caught fish. Dragon Brother chuckled at the scene. Whenever these three got together? It was always a spectacularly good mood booster.
“Brother, can you buy some water for your sisteries?” Lin Wan Ning, since that night she courageously spilled her heart in front of Dragon Brother, no longer looked like a lonely snow fairy—no sir. Now she was all playful girl, acting cute and shy.
She pulled Dragon Brother aside.
Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning turned into evil big bad wolves, surrounding the innocent little bunny, Hu Yu Ying.
“Say it,” they hummed. They knew. Oh, they knew. Last night, Hu Yu Ying never went back to the dorm. Today she’s already here with Dragon Brother—what does that mean? Oh, the gossip was about to blow!
Hu Yu Ying’s eyes flickered, pretending she didn’t hear. She looked to the side, hands behind her back. “Say what?”
“You still wanna play dumb? Believe me, I’ll tickle you if you don’t say,” Lin Wan Ning said, long fingers lightly poking Hu Yu Ying’s neck. The cool touch made her flinch.
But how do you even say such things? She couldn’t. Her mind jumped to her brother’s big masculinity this morning, how Dragon Ge Ge hugged her and plopped her onto the bed, or how he took off her clothes—almost too roughly.
Her cute face turned bright pink—totally adorable and embarrassed.
“We haven’t asked yet, but look at yourself—you’re blushing so much. If nothing happened, we wouldn’t believe it,” Li Qing Xue’s curiosity was killing her. She’s never experienced that kind of thing herself, so she was really intrigued.
“I really, really didn’t do anything,” Hu Yu Ying whispered.
Lin Wan Ning stared at her, sniffing curiously. She and Li Qing Xue played all the time and knew each other’s scents well, but Hu Yu Ying’s scent today? So complicated!
“Did you stay at my brother’s place last night?”
“Hu Yu Ying, don’t lie—I can smell my brother’s scent all over you,” Lin Wan Ning added.
Hu Yu Ying bit her lip and nodded gently.
Seeing her nod, Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning’s eyes practically spilled over with gossip. They couldn’t wait to ask more.
“What did you two do? Be honest,” Li Qing Xue said, clearly thinking, “If you don’t say, I won’t let it go.”
“Really, nothing at all,” Hu Yu Ying replied sincerely.
She wasn’t clueless about stuff between boys and girls, but she truly hadn’t done anything. So her answer was honest and pure.
Seeing her sincerity, Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning believed her—close calls.
Relieved, Hu Yu Ying let out a breath, but then they pressed on: “Then… what exactly did you do?”
Hu Yu Ying just smiled shyly, thinking there were too many things she did but… how to say? And here, among so many people, no way! Think of how awkward that’d be if someone overheard?
“Oh, enough, enough,” Dragon Brother, seeing Hu Yu Ying about to turn redder than a ripe tomato, intervened. He handed out water to the three tiny troublemakers.
Hu Yu Ying’s big, watery eyes looked gratefully at Dragon Brother. If it weren’t for him, she’d be afraid Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning would start a “justice” crusade right here.
Li Qing Xue was a little better—imagine, how could she guess that a cool, aloof person like Lin Wan Ning secretly turned into such a little teaser?
Seeing Dragon Brother protect Hu Yu Ying so fiercely, Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning felt a huge pang of envy. But they only said it in their minds—if they really wanted to ask, they’d need a no-outer-space kind of place.
She reached out, tugging at Hu Yu Ying’s sleeve, confident she told them everything. This was just girlhood teasing—nothing malicious.
Hu Yu Ying was super gentle during their playful banter, almost as if she was letting them have their fun…but always with a tender edge.
Once Dragon Brother arrived, all three tiny joys instantly behaved. They all held hands, following obediently behind Dragon Brother, whispering and giggling—making him both laugh and sigh helplessly.
Hey, this was his little girl. Shouldn’t she be sitting right beside him? Well, life couldn’t be perfect…
They struggled out of the subway, oppressed by the crowd—hot, cramped, and slowly fraying everyone’s nerves. But then, from afar, the majestic outline of Heaven’s Gate appeared, and suddenly: all those feelings vanished.
Awe swelled within. Pride, excitement—like standing before a towering masterpiece of the city. The palace, the chairman’s portrait, the soldiers—people flocked in front of Heaven’s Gate, creating a stunning view.
The flags fluttered high. How lucky they were—born in Huaxia—this was a romantic story belonging to the people.
“Dragon Brother, look! There are foreigners over there,” Li Qing Xue said excitedly, pointing at Hu Yu Ying and Lin Wan Ning.
She loved the lively atmosphere, especially the chaos.
Li Qing Xue’s infectious joy was undeniable, quickly lifting everyone’s spirits.
She grabbed Hu Yu Ying and Lin Wan Ning, demanding Dragon Brother take their photos—so they could share on social media.
For half the day, Dragon Brother transformed from an emotionless shutterbug, taking photos tirelessly, to a lifeless backdrop behind their portraits.
Before taking pictures: “Big brother, help us out, please!”
After, he was conveniently forgotten. The three little joys gathered, admiring the photos they took. Truly, the “good brother” when needed, but when not? Ignored faster than a flickering light bulb.
What could be done? Just spoil them to d*ath, that’s all.
