“You know so much and you’re so good-looking—anyone who gets to be your boyfriend in the future is basically dead sexy. Just don’t pressure yourself too much,” Li Qing Xue half-jokingly advised.
From Lin Wan Ning’s tone, she clearly still harbored some feelings for Dragon Brother.
And who wasn’t? But as good friends, all I could do was give Wan Ning a gentle nudge.

“Totally.” Lin Wan Ning flicked her long hair, her angelic face flipping into a cool smile. “I look good, I know a ton of cheese—wait, I mean, skills—and I can sing and dance too…”
Li Qing Xue shot a look of disdain. “We’ve known each other for so long, and I still haven’t heard you sing.”
“Shall we go sing today?”
“Sure!” Li Qing Xue agreed enthusiastically at Wan Ning’s suggestion.
Back in Haibay City, during graduation, she once went to a KTV with a bunch of familiar faces—it was lively, and everyone was having fun.

The two exchanged a quick glance, then without hesitation, both took out their phones and dialed Hu Yu Ying.

The call was answered swiftly.
“Wan Ning, what’s up?” Hu Yu Ying’s gentle voice came through.
“Ying, what are you doing?”
“I’m washing Dragon Brother’s underwear,” Ying whispered matter-of-factly. Their tiny trio had grown even closer after last night’s wild chain of events, so nothing was off-limits anymore.
And honestly, washing her man’s underwear didn’t feel awkward at all.
“Stop washing! Come out and play with us,” Li Qing Xue chimed in eagerly.
“Aren’t you both tired? I’m almost done here,” Ying responded.
“Later, I’ll share a spot with you. Hurry up and come over.”
“Okay.”
After hanging up, Ying swung her freshly washed underwear and headed inside to hang them up.
Soon, workers arrived, and Dragon Brother came back from outside.
Ying quickly rushed over to him, naturally feeling a bit shy facing all those workers.
Dragon Brother took her hand, greeted the foreman, and led Ying away from the courtyard.
“Bro, Wan Ning and Qing Xue asked me to hang out. You wanna come too?”
“Where to?”
Ying showed Dragon Brother the location, which wasn’t far—near the Music Academy.
Thinking for a moment, she said, “I’ll take you there first, then come back later.”
“Do you have something to do, Bro? If so, I can go by myself,” Ying suggested thoughtfully.
“I just want to go back to school, take a shower, change clothes,” Dragon Brother smiled, sizing himself up, realizing he’d looked pretty rough lately.
Back in the day, he wouldn’t have cared, but now he wanted to stand beside Ying at his best.
“You’re so handsome, Bro,” Ying said with a sweet smile.
“Such a sweet talker. Are you secretly stealing honey behind my back today?” Dragon Brother leaned closer with a teasing smirk.
Ying gently bit her lips, hands behind her back, stealing a shy glance elsewhere, muttering softly, “Maybe Dragon Bro wants a taste?”
Her bright eyes shimmered with a hint of mischief and an indescribable allure, as if a sly little fox was gauging him—temptingly enchanting.
He grabbed her slender waist. This girl had learned some tricks—got Dragon Bro feeling a primal urge to just take her right then and there: “Little fox.”
“I’m not a little fox! I’m just your little sidekick,” Ying flirted with sultry eyes, a perfect little mix of innocence and craving.
*cough* “Um…So… will you stay over tonight?”
Ying looked at him, puzzled. “What did you just say, Bro?”
“You’re pretending, huh? You definitely heard me—be careful or I’ll give you a whack,” Dragon Brother’s ears reddened, and right now, he was out of options.
“But I really didn’t hear you! Say it again, Bro—I’ll listen carefully this time,” Ying blinked innocently, acting as if she was totally clueless.
He glanced around and quickly leaned in, whispering in her ear, “Are you coming back tonight?”
“No,” Ying suddenly replied. “What you just said wasn’t right—”
Then, before Dragon Brother could respond, she kept leaning forward, wrapping her arms around his neck: “Ying is still staying over tonight.”
Caught off guard by her teasing, Dragon Brother’s face turned redder, and his heart pounded fiercely.
Just one night, and he felt Ying had changed so much.
The difference was obvious—before, telling Ying a dirty joke left her dazed and confused, trying her best to play along.
Now, she could turn the tables and flirt back, which was totally unfair!
Hearing his heartbeat, Ying secretly cheered herself on. After a whole night of cramming, she felt practically invincible!

Meanwhile, Dragon Brother headed toward the school, already determined to punish Ying tonight.
Back in the dorm, shockingly, Huang Fei and Li Long Long weren’t out partying—they were holed up inside.
“Whoa, Dragon Boy’s back, huh?” Li Long Long exclaimed excitedly, staring at Dragon Brother like he’d discovered a rare treasure. “Seven days off, and all you did was stay in the dorm? Where’d you go to have such fun?”
Dragon Brother tossed his cigarettes to Li Long Long and flopped onto the bed to change.
“Where’s Old Huang?” he asked, looking at Huang Fei curled up under the blanket.
“Huang Fei’s wasting away—all attention is on his phone now,” Li Long Long lit a cigarette, “He’s chatting up Shen Meng Jie like nobody’s business…”
“I’ll go take a shower,” Dragon Brother said, grabbing a towel and heading out.
When the dorm door was shut, Huang Fei suddenly snapped out of his daze, looked at Li Long Long, and asked: “Who just left?”
“Old Aow’s back, and you’re hopeless—completely into her now…”
“Got too excited. Shen Meng Jie promised to go out with me tomorrow, I gotta get myself looking good,” Huang Fei said.
“Aiya, tomorrow’s the first day of school, what exactly can you do in the morning?”
“You don’t get it! This is called pure love!” He grabbed a towel, eager to find Dragon Brother and share the good news…
