After hearing Hu Yu Ying’s words, Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning couldn’t help but feel a little excited.

“Then let’s start without him?” Lin Wan Ning handed the microphone to Hu Yu Ying and pressed play.
“I can’t sing,” Hu Yu Ying said, her first time in a place like this, handing the mic over to Li Qing Xue.
“Then we’ll both sing together!” Li Qing Xue placed the microphone in between her and Hu Yu Ying.
They mostly wanted to hear Lin Wan Ning sing anyway.
As expected, once Lin Wan Ning opened her mouth, it was like their two voices didn’t stand a chance.
It wasn’t that they couldn’t sing along; it was just that Lin Wan Ning sang so beautifully that adding their tone-deaf efforts would ruin the beautiful atmosphere.
The same lyrics, but sung with her unique voice, transformed into different emotions and feelings.
Professional vs. Amateur? This moment made it hilariously clear.
Hu Yu Ying and Li Qing Xue were completely immersed in Lin Wan Ning’s singing.

The KTV room had a glass wall—small but clear enough to see what was going on inside.
Through Dragon Brother’s perspective,
A girl dressed in midriff-baring attire swayed her enticing waist, one hand holding a beer, the other holding a phone as if chatting.
One of the guys stepped up to her, saying who knows what. The girl’s red lips curled into a slight smile as she raised the beer and placed it directly to the guy’s mouth, gently lifting her finger. Soon enough, he gulped it all down.
After that, Shen Meng Jie chuckled lightly and settled back onto the couch, while the guy squatted beside her…
Dragon Brother quickly retracted his gaze, the KTV was way too noisy to catch what they were saying.
But judging by the looks of it, Shen Meng Jie seemed to be in complete control, effortlessly leading the guy along.
Thinking about Huang Fei in their dorm still holding his phone, gazing expectantly at it for a reply…
Dragon Brother shook his head, sighing. It wasn’t that Huang Fei was weak—it was just that the competition was too fierce!

Upon seeing who it was, the trio instantly panicked.
They quickly scrambled to sit properly.
Hu Yu Ying awkwardly stood up and approached Dragon Brother, “Dragon Brother, it’s not what it looks like!”
Li Qing Xue and Lin Wan Ning also stood to explain.
“From now on, no more of this,” Li Qing Xue shot him a disapproving look, “You’re feeling jealous over this little thing?”
“Big brother, are you really going to be jealous over your sister’s antics?” Lin Wan Ning also wouldn’t back down.
“Dragon Brother, don’t say anything about Qian Xue and Wan Ning,” Hu Yu Ying gently tugged at his sleeve.
The three of them stood together, forming a united front.
Dragon Brother felt a mix of amusement and exasperation.
Amused because their friendship was so good; it made him happy for them.
Exasperated because he hadn’t even had enough time to kiss his own girlfriend yet…
And last time, all he did was step out for some soda and came back to find his little girl blushing brightly, looking as if she was about to explode…

Seeing this, Hu Yu Ying lightly bit her lip, feeling a tad shy, but still tiptoed to plant a sweet kiss on his cheek.
Feeling the warm touch of Hu Yu Ying’s lips on his face made Dragon Brother smugly glance at Li Qing Xue.
Li Qing Xue couldn’t stand Dragon Brother’s self-satisfied look; she sharply stomped her foot down on his foot.
Seeing Dragon Brother wince, Li Qing Xue triumphantly hummed a tune while pulling Hu Yu Ying to the couch.
Lin Wan Ning looked at Dragon Brother, her eyes filled with concern, “Does it hurt, big brother?”
Before he could react, she leaned in and pecked him on the left cheek, “I’m sorry, big brother. I won’t make you jealous anymore; please forgive me.”
Dragon Brother stared in shock at Lin Wan Ning, reflexively glancing at Hu Yu Ying and Li Qing Xue, thankfully both seemed oblivious to this side of things.
He wanted to say something, but seeing Lin Wan Ning’s earnest and slightly guilty eyes, he awkwardly chuckled, “It’s nothing. How could I really be jealous?”
“Thank you, big brother.” Upon hearing Dragon Brother wasn’t really angry, Lin Wan Ning’s relief was palpable—her joy practically radiated.
