“Wake up.”
Feeling someone nudging his shoulder, Dragon Brother (Male) wiped his face and, without thinking, said, “I wasn’t sleeping.”
Seeing Dragon Brother’s confused face and his stubborn attempt to deny it, Shen Meng Jie (Female) couldn’t help but cover her mouth and chuckle: “Yeah, you weren’t sleeping, you were just practicing snoring.”

“And Old Xu?” At this point, Dragon Brother looked around, but Xu Shuai was nowhere in sight.
“He’s already flirting and bantering with Wang Li Juan,” Shen Meng Jie replied, rolling her eyes, “Who can stare at you all the time?”

“Sure, sure, you’re so happy—you skipped classes all day yesterday, and today, as soon as you got here, you just collapsed into sleep. Don’t all the guys just lose it without those things?”
“Can’t help it. My Little Girl (Female) is used to spoiling me,” Dragon Brother said, and as he said that, he felt his heart swell just thinking about how awesome his Little Girl was.
“Honestly, I never knew. Turns out, men going wild isn’t really a big deal for women,” Shen Meng Jie teased, eyes twinkling.
“Oh, by the way, how’s your confession plan coming along?”
Hearing that, Dragon Brother’s eyes lit up: “Got a few ideas now.”
He was convinced his plan would leave Little Girl with a memory she wouldn’t forget—even imagining her surprised little face made his smile even wider.
Seeing his grin, Shen Meng Jie smirked and said, “Well, I’ll just have to congratulate you in advance.” She held out her hand.
Watching her wrap her hand in bandages, Dragon Brother frowned slightly: “Didn’t you put on any ointment?”
Shen Meng Jie pouted: “Did, but it itched like crazy in the middle of the night. Might be an allergy.”
“Are you okay?”
Shen Meng Jie shot him a glance: “I’m fine, why would I need bandages if I wasn’t?”
At this point, she sighed regretfully: “Originally, I wanted to help you, but I got busy and couldn’t. Now I’ve got nothing to show for it.”
“Ah, don’t mention it—if you keep going, I’ll be so embarrassed I won’t know where to hide.”
“One day, I’ll treat you to pig trotters, so you can recover properly.”
“That’s more like it.” She looked at him, then asked curiously as he headed out instead of going back to the dorm: “Where are you going?”

Thinking about her made him quicken his steps, eager to see her again.

She then took out her phone and opened her photo gallery.
The first two photos displayed Dragon Brother (Male) dozing off on a desk.
But there was Shen Meng Jie in the pictures too.
Shen Meng Jie was lying beside him on the desk, and from this angle, it looked strangely intimate.
The moment she saw Dragon Brother, she could tell—this guy was different.

During the brief pause at the traffic light, Dragon Brother glanced at the time on his phone.

Near the campus, traffic was sparse. He rode his tiny scooter like a storm, speeding quickly towards A University’s vicinity.
Soon, he spotted two familiar figures in the crowd.
There were quite a few people around, so Dragon Brother didn’t dare shout their names—Hu Yu Ying and Li Qing Xue.
But his eyes never left Hu Yu Ying.
Something seemed to sense her, because she looked up from her chat with Li Qing Xue.
Her eyes lit up: “Big Brother Dragon’s here to pick me up.”
She grabbed Qing Xue’s hand excitedly, signaling her to look.
Li Qing Xue looked outside and saw Dragon Brother, holding his helmet, waving at them.
“Yeah, I see him, I see him. Stay calm,” Li Qing Xue said, smiling. If she hadn’t been holding Hu Yu Ying’s hand, this girl might’ve dashed out herself.
“Big Brother Dragon said he’d be here right at 8:30. As soon as I get to the entrance of the school, I’ll definitely see him,” Little Girl (Female) beamed, sharing her happiness with her bestie.
Seeing Hu Yu Ying so joyful, Li Qing Xue couldn’t help but feel happy for her.
The two hurried over to Dragon Brother.
“Big Brother…”
Li Qing Xue first grabbed Hu Yu Ying, who was about to take the helmet, then shot a playful glare at Dragon Brother and started giving him a gentle lecture.

Li Qing Xue thought it over seriously and nodded: “Alright then.”
Hu Yu Ying watched her big brother with amusement, then shrugged.
