### Chapter 352: I’m Not That Easy to Handle
Before long, Dragon Brother parked the car.
Hu Yu Ying looked around, her eyes filled with confusion. She had no idea why Dragon Brother brought her to the housing bureau, but that didn’t stop her from pouting and refusing to get out of the car.
“Are you coming out on your own, or do I need to carry you?” Dragon Brother whispered in Hu Yu Ying’s ear.
There were quite a few people around.
Hu Yu Ying was about to say she’d get out herself when, in the next moment, a pair of hands suddenly grabbed her waist and hoisted her out.
“I—I can get out myself!” Seeing the curious stares from the crowd, Hu Yu Ying shyly mumbled.
“You didn’t say that,” Dragon Brother grinned, clearly enjoying himself while holding her.
“I—I hadn’t gotten a chance to say it yet.”
“Well, what should we do? Should I carry you back in?”
“Absolutely not!” The little girl blushed, looking around at all the prying eyes.
Seeing this, Dragon Brother couldn’t help but chuckle and reached for her hand.
But Hu Yu Ying subtly dodged, “I haven’t forgiven you yet, so no touching!”
“Just forgive me for now. We can deal with you not forgiving me later, okay? This time I really have something important.”
At the mention of really needing her, she reluctantly nodded and extended her hand.
Hand in hand, they entered the housing bureau. After taking a number, they waited quietly, Dragon Brother never releasing her hand the whole time.
Hu Yu Ying had wanted to ask what they were doing here, but then she remembered she was still mad at him, so she kept quiet.
Soon, they were called by the number Dragon Brother held.
He tugged her over to the staff, presenting the property documents. “Add my future wife’s name to it.”
One sentence left Hu Yu Ying utterly bewildered.
Instinctively tightening her grip on Dragon Brother’s hand, she stuttered, “A-adding my name?”
Since this was about adding names before marriage, they needed to process a gift notarization to officially give the other party a stake in the property.
Hu Yu Ying was still processing everything when she instinctively shook her head. “I don’t want to.”
Then, in surprise, she gazed at Dragon Brother. “Did you buy a house?”
“Yep, this is the place we’re living in.” Observing her shocked expression, he lowered his voice. “That’s our home. I want to give you a real home. It’s not just talk.”
“Don’t think I’m trying to win your heart with property. I’m serious. I really want to have a home with you. I originally planned to confess properly, but a lot happened in between…”
“This is my intention and a guarantee for you, little girl.”
Hu Yu Ying’s emotions surged. Who ends up trying to win a girl’s heart by offering her a piece of real estate? So, Dragon Brother really means it.
But Hu Yu Ying still shook her head. “No, you need an ID for this, right? I don’t have mine. Let’s just come back another day.”
She intended to trick Dragon Brother into going home instead.
Being with Dragon Brother was all about him—not what he owned.
Knowing Dragon Brother’s feelings for her was enough. The real estate prices in the capital were ludicrous, and for her to get part ownership without contributing anything? That didn’t feel right.
Dragon Brother smiled and pulled out her ID from his pocket. “I secretly brought it for you.”
All of her things were stored in a metal box, so it was easy to find.
“Hurry up, the people behind us will get impatient!”
“If you refuse me, I’m not marrying you!”
“You wouldn’t dare!” Hearing Dragon Brother say he wouldn’t marry her, Hu Yu Ying immediately got feisty.
Dragon Brother quickly raised both hands. “I wouldn’t dare, I swear!”
Eventually, under Dragon Brother’s insistence, she signed the documents.
With the notarization complete, the next steps were much simpler.
After paying the fees, Hu Yu Ying stared at the property papers with her name on them. She wanted to say something but only managed to get teary-eyed.
“You are my female protagonist, and I hope you can have everything with me.”
That afternoon, Dragon Brother didn’t rush to take Hu Yu Ying home.
Instead, he found a sweet potato cart and bought her a baked sweet potato.
They rode a scooter, not caring about direction or distance. Dragon Brother showered her with countless words of affection.
With Dragon Brother’s declarations of love, it felt like an invisible wall in Hu Yu Ying’s heart had burst open, letting warm currents flow in.
“I’m sorry about all this, and thank you.”
With just that one “thank you,” Hu Yu Ying understood Dragon Brother’s feelings.
“A person who likes you, who can drop their pride and everything else—I can get mad at them, but their love for you doesn’t stir up any anger in me, and I don’t know what to do about it.”
“A girl can do that much for you…”
“Either it’s pity or sympathy, or just friendship. What’s she supposed to do? She’s alone and gave you her most precious thing; what’s she supposed to do from now on…”
Hu Yu Ying’s voice was soft but held a hint of helplessness; she was just too kind and too tenderhearted.
Dragon Brother stopped the scooter, turned around, and hugged her. He just wanted to hold her tight.
With a sweet tone, he leaned in close and whispered, “If you’re mad, just punch me a few times. Get it out of your system, then we can be good again.”
Hu Yu Ying huffed lightly, pretending to be aloof. “I’m not that easy to handle!”
At this, Dragon Brother wasn’t upset but tightened his embrace. “You’re the lady of the house. Let your anger out on me. I don’t want you to be mad at yourself.”
Hearing him call her “lady of the house” made Hu Yu Ying snicker, her eyes filled with a mix of affection and a touch of grievance. “You better not bully me again.”
“I only prioritize the little girl.”
With a sniffle, she let Dragon Brother hold her close. “L-Let’s go home.”
“Alright, home, our home.”
“I still haven’t forgiven you, you know! I said I wouldn’t speak to you all noon. From now on, ignore me. At least… at least when we get home, I’ll talk to you.”
“Whatever you say.”
On the way back, for some reason, it felt like the return trip was quicker than the outgoing one.
Once home, Hu Yu Ying dashed to her little room, putting the property documents back in the box.
Then she stepped out again.
Faced with Dragon Brother’s pleading gaze, Hu Yu Ying huffed and looked away.
Lin Wan Ning also huffed, refusing to look at Dragon Brother.
Li Qing Xue, noticing the two of them, chimed in with a light huff at Dragon Brother and turned her head away.
“Okay, now I can talk to you,” Hu Yu Ying took a deep breath and said.
Li Qing Xue looked at Dragon Brother and said, “Hmph! If it weren’t for Ah Ying speaking up, I wouldn’t say a word to you either.”
Lin Wan Ning gently smiled at Dragon Brother before focusing back on Hu Yu Ying, who shyly smiled back while testily reaching out to hold Hu Yu Ying’s hand.
In the next moment, her hand was grabbed, and Hu Yu Ying just responded with a gentle smile to Lin Wan Ning.
“Thank you, sister.” Her voice was quiet but sincere…
【Please send good vibes, thanks, love you all…】
