Chapter 359: It’s All Your Fault!
“Whoa! I’m gonna m*rder you!”
Xue Shao Hua jolted awake at dawn, and the moment he cracked open his eyes, a searing pain shot through him like he’d been hit by a freight train.
The next thing he knew, his clothes were stripped clean, and what pushed him over the edge was discovering Ye Liang Chen lying oh-so-n*ked right next to him.
Feeling a stinging pain somewhere down south, Xue Shao Hua immediately knew exactly what had gone down.
He roared, grabbing Ye Liang Chen’s neck like a maniac.
“Yelling like that won’t help!” Ye Liang Chen snapped awake, eyes bloodshot, as his neck was being squeezed by a madman.
Suddenly, air refused to flow, and he was gasping for breath. His mind cleared instantly.
There he was—completely n*de, riding on top of him, frantically throttling his throat. Ye Liang Chen’s face drained of color.
Apparently realizing what had happened, Ye Liang Chen’s eyes widened in horror. He coughed violently and struggled to sit up.
“What are you doing? Are you out of your mind?” Ye Liang Chen asked, bewildered.
Xue Shao Hua, panting heavily, looked furious enough to ignite. His eyes were bloodshot, and veins bulged on his forehead: “Out of my mind? You dare do that to me? You d*mn well deserve to d*e!”
Ye Liang Chen suddenly remembered last night’s chaos—drunk out of his mind, he’d seen Hu Yu Ying—wanted to teach her a lesson for not siding with him—and ended up forcefully taking her. That was his logic at the time… or what he remembered.
He was kind of excited about it all then…
But now, seeing Xue Shao Hua completely n*ked and clutching his own throat like a maniac, his face turned ghostly pale.
It seems he’s finally put two and two together.
Xue Shao Hua clenched his teeth, feeling the pain radiating through his body, and noticing Ye Liang Chen’s unresisting, frantic struggle. With a roar that shook the walls, he finally loosened his grip.
“I can’t really k*ll you,” he growled between clenched teeth. “My future—my life—just getting started. Killing you would wreck everything for me.”
He sat on the bed, dazed, tears silently streaming down his face.
Just yesterday, he was a decent guy—well, okay, not the worst—and now? A total mess: decrepit, shattered, wrecked. Poor Xue Shao Hua’s heart ached with the pain of this transformation.
Ye Liang Chen, lying on the bed, couldn’t accept what had happened. Suddenly, he heard the muffled sobs from Xue Shao Hua.
He looked up—and saw him distraught, wiping tears, face buried in his hands.
What was he supposed to say? This was all his fault.
Seeing the marks he had left on Xue Shao Hua’s skin, Ye Liang Chen closed his eyes tight.
“Don’t cry,” he whispered softly. “I’ll take responsibility.”
That one simple sentence lit a fuse inside Xue Shao Hua.
He looked up, eyes red, furious: “Responsibility? How are you going to take responsibility?”
“I trusted you so much, and this is how you repay me? Not just a guy—everyone! You’re a monster!”
Though called a monster, Ye Liang Chen understood the rage boiling inside Xue Shao Hua.
He sighed, slowly sitting up in bed. “Last night was an accident. We both drank too much, and things just… went wrong.”
He reached out, gently patting Xue Shao Hua’s shoulder.
The moment their hands touched, both of them shivered simultaneously.
Xue Shao Hua forgot to cry for a moment; Ye Liang Chen’s words caught in his throat.
The room became eerily silent.
Finally, Ye Liang Chen spoke again: “I’ll make it up to you.”
Hearing this!
Xue Shao Hua inhaled deeply, like he’d made a decision. He spun around to face Ye Liang Chen sharply: “You want to make it up to me?”
“Fine. Then let me do it once—I’ll consider us square!”
Ye Liang Chen, of course, refused outright. But in his current furious state, he didn’t care.
He lunged forward suddenly, grabbing Ye Liang Chen and wrestled with him.
But he forgot the pain in his body and, in the chaos, Ye Liang Chen managed to pin him down.
Gasping for breath, Ye Liang Chen looked down at the furious Xue Shao Hua underneath him.
“Relax a little!” Ye Liang Chen urged.
“Relax? How am I supposed to relax?” Xue Shao Hua struggled violently. When angry, people are rarely rational. Unless someone threw a hundred thousand yuan in front of him, he wasn’t listening.
Honestly, Ye Liang Chen also felt wronged. Last night, drunk as he was, he remembered thinking he was taking Hu Yu Ying—yet, due to his drunkenness, he hadn’t truly experienced it. Or so he thought.
After hearing Ye Liang Chen’s explanation, Xue Shao Hua was even angrier: “You mean to say you forgot the process and didn’t really enjoy it? What, you only admit to doing it because it was fun?”
“Let me go!”
His continuous struggles only fueled Ye Liang Chen’s temper. He hadn’t done this on purpose, but Xue Shao Hua refused to listen to his reasons.
Thinking of that, Ye Liang Chen clenched his fists—“Fine, if you’re gonna be like that, don’t blame me.”
He hadn’t truly enjoyed last night either, and he sure as hell wasn’t going to let Xue Shao Hua do whatever he wanted for free.
Feeling a strange sensation—an instinctive recognition—Xue Shao Hua’s face turned pale.
He looked at Ye Liang Chen in horror: “What… what are you trying to do?”
“It’s all your fault!” Ye Liang Chen snapped.
“Ahhh—d*mn it…”
Tears of regret welled up.
Three minutes later.
Ye Liang Chen slowly sat up, looking at Xue Shao Hua curled up on the bed, arms crossed, tearful and distressed.
He softly comforted, “Don’t cry anymore. I’ll take responsibility.”
Xue Shao Hua still felt gloomy, lost in his own thoughts.
Seeing this, Ye Liang Chen sighed and pulled her into his arms. Maybe he hadn’t truly enjoyed it the first time, but the whole experience—just then—felt like opening a door to a new world.
If Xue Shao Hua only realized what had happened to his body this morning, now? Even though the moment was brief, he felt something different—an inexplicable, profound emotion…
Hearing Ye Liang Chen’s gentle words, Xue Shao Hua slowly looked up, eyes full of grievances.
“You… you monster! You keep hurting me over and over…”
Seeing her aggrieved expression, Ye Liang Chen’s heart twitched sharply.
“I… I’ll be responsible for you,” he promised.
“Will I ever be able to face anyone again?” she asked, voice trembling.
Gently rubbing her shoulder, Ye Liang Chen said, “No one will ever laugh at you again.”
“This matter—only the two of us know. Absolutely no one else!”
If others found out, Ye Liang Chen’s reputation would be ruined.
Tears streamed down Xue Shao Hua’s face once more. The unimaginable had truly happened to her. Her heart couldn’t accept it right away.
“Don’t cry. I’ll give you a proper apology once the sports day ends. Hu Yu Ying, Li Qing Xue, Lin Wan Ning, Shen Meng Jie—you name it, you can choose,” Ye Liang Chen promised, doing his best to comfort her.
He knew how obsessive Xue Shao Hua was about Hu Yu Ying…
