“Strange, why is my sister so tired today? No matter how I call her, she won’t wake up,” Lin Wan Ning said while munching on her breakfast.
Li Qing Xue heard this and leaned over the bed, poking Hu Yu Ying’s cheek gently with her finger.
Suddenly, she burst into a fit of giggles: “Ah Ying’s cheeks are so fun to poke! They’re so tender, do you want to give it a try?”
“Really?” Lin Wan Ning flipped over onto her side and poked Hu Yu Ying’s cheek with her finger as well. She met Li Qing Xue’s smiling eyes and couldn’t help but laugh, quickly covering her mouth. “It’s true!”
In her dream, Hu Yu Ying felt someone playing with her, so she lightly brushed her cheek and murmured, “Dragon Brother, I still want to sleep.”
Two stifled giggles erupted.
Li Qing Xue glanced at Lin Wan Ning and said in a teasing voice, “If you don’t get up soon, I’ll have to spank your little behind!”
Lin Wan Ning, catching on, gave Hu Yu Ying’s perky tush a little squeeze.

After being tossed around last night, even the slightest touch sent a blush creeping onto Hu Yu Ying’s face.

“What are you two up to?” She swatted their hands away, sitting up in bed and stretching blissfully.

Li Qing Xue instinctively glanced at Lin Wan Ning.

“Good morning, my little girl,” came the lazy voice of the man on the other end.

“Why don’t you just go home and check on him?”

“Not a chance!” Thinking back to how last night she asked him to wait but he didn’t even bother, it made her so mad! She really regretted not giving him a few more playful spanks this morning!
Seeing Hu Yu Ying’s resentful expression about Dragon Brother, Li Qing Xue couldn’t help but chuckle. She took off her scarf and wrapped it around Hu Yu Ying’s neck. “Alright, next time I’ll help you punish Dragon Brother!”
Hearing this, a bit of her resentment melted away. “In three days, it’ll be the winter solstice. When we come home, I’ll make dumplings for you!”
“Great! We’ll come early and help you make them,” the two little mischief-makers chorused. “And we won’t let him eat any!”
Hu Yu Ying bit her lip and didn’t agree. After all, Dragon Brother wasn’t being too unreasonable; he should get to eat a bit.
“Hey, we haven’t even said he can’t eat yet, and already my sister’s reluctant!” Lin Wan Ning teased.
“No, no…” Hu Yu Ying scrambled to deny it. “At most, I’ll let him eat a little less…”
