“Brother Dragon, where are we headed now?” After breakfast, Hu Yu Ying stuck to Long Ao Tian like glue, refusing to leave his side even for a second.
“This place is Yi Niao, the biggest wholesale city. It’s where a lot of the little gadgets you see on the market come from,” Long Ao Tian explained.
“So, are we here to buy clothes wholesale?” Hu Yu Ying tilted her head expectantly.

“The clothes here, the products, they’re all already saturated on the market. We should head to the source factory to see if there are any new products,” he said with a grin.
Hearing that, Hu Yu Ying scooted a little closer to Long Ao Tian and asked nervously, “What if there aren’t any new products? Wouldn’t we just be wasting our trip?”
“Is Little Girl looking down on Brother Dragon?” Long Ao Tian chuckled softly.
Coincidentally, he spotted the summer new ice silk short-sleeved T-shirts on Taobao. One shirt listed online costs around thirty-something yuan.

“Usually, new products don’t just hit the shelves all at once. They’re released in batches through different channels, splitting some of the ‘chives’ (idiom for profit), then observing the reaction,” Long Ao Tian explained.
“If it’s popular, the source will increase the price of their stock. If it’s not, they’ll have a big clearance sale — and they definitely won’t lose money,” he added confidently.
“The key difference,” he continued, “is that the factory’s clearance sale is aimed at all their retail channels, while pieces sold directly to us regular folks are a different matter.”
In the meantime, he had already located the place: “Here we are.”
“That?” Hu Yu Ying looked around at the tall walls and trees, confused.
“Wait a sec,” Long Ao Tian scanned his surroundings, then suddenly jumped in place, grabbing onto the wall with both hands. Using his arm strength, he slowly lifted himself up as if doing a pull-up.
“No worries,” he loosened his grip and landed back on the ground smoothly.
“Come on,” Long Ao Tian crossed his arms and squatted slightly, indicating to Hu Yu Ying to stand on his hands and let him lift her up first.
“Huh? Brother Dragon, I’m scared,” Hu Yu Ying looked embarrassed and somewhat timid.
“If you’re too scared to go in, just stay here and wait for me,” Long Ao Tian said, about to climb over the wall.
“Not that, Brother Dragon, I dare to go in, but… I just… don’t dare step on you…” Hu Yu Ying mumbled, voice getting smaller and smaller.
“What’s there to be afraid of? You just come,” Long Ao Tian gently urged.
Hu Yu Ying nodded obediently and stepped closer to him.
“Come closer.”
She looked up at him hesitantly, pursed her lips, and inched closer—so close she could feel her body barely inches apart from him.
She could even clearly feel the heat radiating from Long Ao Tian.
“Turn around and face the wall,” he instructed.
“Oh, okay,” she responded shyly, turning to face the wall without hesitation.
“Are you ready?” Long Ao Tian’s body pressed against hers, and she could almost hear his breathing and heartbeat.
“Yeah,” she nodded.
As soon as she answered, her legs were caught and held tight, and next second, she was hoisted up with great force.
“Stop spacing out—grab the wall. I’ll send you over,” Long Ao Tian said, his voice steady behind her.
Hu Yu Ying stared blankly, nodding mutely, still reeling from the shock.
Brother Dragon was actually holding her and lifting her high? Her mind was spinning; she shook her head quickly, clutching the wall’s edge. With Long Ao Tian’s help, she managed to scramble over the wall successfully.
Long Ao Tian used the same method, jumped over, then spread his arms wide and looked at Hu Yu Ying.
“Come on, I got you,” he coaxed.
Hu Yu Ying hesitated, voice trembling, “Brother Dragon, you must catch me, okay?”
“Don’t worry, Brother Dragon will definitely catch you. Trust me,” he assured her.
“Mm-hmm, I trust Brother Dragon,” she whispered, taking a deep breath, closing her eyes, and then jumping down.
“Yoohoo!” With a fatherly hug, he spun around in place to loosen his strength, then gently patted her back. “All done, no worries.”
Hu Yu Ying was so tense she was practically stiff. Hearing Long Ao Tian’s words, only then did she slowly open her eyes and see herself nestled in his arms.
Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment that she couldn’t control, burning hot red. Even her white ears, hidden beneath her long hair, looked like they might drip bl**d from blushing so intensely.
She gently pushed herself away from Long Ao Tian’s embrace, but still felt as though his scent clung to her body — like she was still being hugged by him. Her ears and heart pounded so loudly she couldn’t think straight.
Long Ao Tian just watched her with a soft smile and said, “Very brave.”
Hearing that, Hu Yu Ying instinctively nodded, “Mm-hmm, I’m also very brave.”
“But just praising you makes you all swagger,” Long Ao Tian teased.
“All because I learned it from Brother Dragon!”
They kept walking forward.
After a full circle, they finally saw workers loading goods onto trucks.
Long Ao Tian faced Hu Yu Ying, dusted the dirt off his hands, and straightened his clothes. “How do you feel?”
“Pretty good, Brother Dragon,” Hu Yu Ying replied.
Long Ao Tian patted the dust off her knees and reminded her, “Relax. We’re just here to fetch some goods.”
“But weren’t we sneaking in over the wall?” Hu Yu Ying whispered nervously.
Seeing her guilty face, Long Ao Tian rolled his eyes. “Stand up straight. If you don’t say anything, no one will know we snuck in.”
“See those trucks being loaded? That’s the summer new line for this year. If we can snatch some, we’ll make money.”
“But, how do we get them?” Hu Yu Ying leaned close to him and whispered. Right now, she only trusted Long Ao Tian — only he gave her a sense of security. She naturally wanted to stay close.
“Don’t worry. Usually, people at the factory reserve some for their relatives,” he said.
“But we’re not relatives of anyone there,” she pointed out.
“Idiot. If you don’t tell them, how would they know?” Long Ao Tian gave her an amused look.

Soon, the workers finished loading, and once the trucks drove away, a dozen big parcels were left behind.
