Chapter 211: Are You a Loli Lover or a Bro?
With a sudden yank, Lu Liangting stumbled and nearly toppled over. The security door behind him slammed shut with a loud bang before he even processed what was happening. Suddenly, he was inside the room.
“I…” Lu Liangting looked up and met a pair of eyes belonging to a little girl who looked no older than eleven or twelve. She was incredibly cute, with a beauty that took his breath away at first glance.
But on closer inspection, there was something not quite right about her porcelain-doll face. He couldn’t quite place it, but there was an eerie aura about her. If she were five or six years older, her overall vibe would definitely evoke thoughts of a “ghost bride.”
Bending over, Lu Liangting hurriedly stepped back after catching her gaze.
“Lu Liangting, don’t be scared! There’s nothing to fear,” said Zhao Mingyue’s voice from behind him. “The little loli before you is Bai Yu.”
Zhao Mingyue stepped lightly to Bai Yu’s side, wrapping an arm around her expressionless form as if she were hugging her little sister.
“This is her new body! With this, she can live like a real person. She can experience emotions, taste sweet and sour, and even her body has warmth now—no longer cold and lifeless.”
As she spoke, Zhao Mingyue playfully pinched Bai Yu’s cheek.
Bai Yu’s face was completely different from her original form, which had been sickly pale. Mentioning the Gatekeeper and the Ghost Domain made Lu Liangting freeze mid-sip, setting his cup down on the table. He was about to speak but suddenly fell into deep thought.
Zhao Mingyue didn’t interrupt him and let him ponder.
A moment later, Lu Liangting spoke up. “How soon can we take action? Can I have three days?”
“Three days? That’s fine.”
“Zhizi is still stuck in the White Day Amusement Park, and I want to use these three days to get Zhizi and Rose out of there. Regardless of whether I succeed or fail, I want to join this plan of yours.”
Opportunities are rare, so knowing how to seize them is crucial.
Lu Liangting understood that, but before anything else, he needed to do something more important. If he didn’t save Zhizi, there might never be another chance.
“Alright.”
Upon hearing Lu Liangting’s willingness regardless of success or failure, Zhao Mingyue nodded, starting to explain about Bai Yu’s new body.

“A living person becomes the cocoon, and after some growth, the soul of that person naturally vanishes, leaving behind an empty shell.”
“This shell acts as the root of the Evil God. Most of their power comes from this root, which is like a transit point, and we refer to this root as an embryo.”
“Throughout the Evil God’s development, they continually nourish the embryo, keeping it in a state that’s essentially like being alive without a soul.”
“And Bai Yu’s body is that Evil God’s embryo.”

After about half an hour of talking, Lu Liangting seemed to grasp Zhao Mingyue’s plan.
At this point, he could only say it’s no wonder Bai Yu could come up with such a ruthless plan; only her strength could pull it off.
Understanding the plan made him feel both amused and somewhat forlorn that he was just a driver.
He thought he had a more important role, but it turned out he was mainly just supposed to drive.
But it was fine; plenty of people could do the driving—some even without needing to know the plan. For Zhao Mingyue and Bai Yu to trust him with this task and explain the whole plan was already a significant show of faith.
It was also a chance for revenge.
As Zhao Mingyue had mentioned, once the plan was set, the Ghost Domain’s people would inevitably come, and then he could have his revenge.
“That’s all for now. How do you feel about it?” Zhao Mingyue asked tentatively.
“This plan is great. If you need help, just say the word. I currently have two red outfits and five evil ghosts on me.”
“Okay, sounds good.”
“Three days from now, regardless of whether I succeed or fail, I’ll be back. If I don’t show up that day…” Lu Liangting’s expression turned serious as he took a deep breath. “It means I’ve either died in the White Day Amusement Park or haven’t made it out. At that point, you and Bai Yu shouldn’t worry about me; just leave. The plan is what matters.”

To prevent Zhao Mingyue from refusing, Lu Liangting specifically mentioned that this payment was for Bai Yu. Sure enough, Zhao Mingyue hesitated, unsure of how to respond.
“My father is waiting for me below; I need to head back. Contact me anytime if anything comes up.”
“Alright, take care.”
“Yeah, no need to see me off.” Lu Liangting stood and left, taking as long as half an hour to come down, just as Lu Changlin had said.
As he stepped out and walked into the hallway, he saw a suited man waiting with his arms crossed for news.
The suited man was Lu Changlin’s bodyguard, evidently called in to keep an eye on him.
“Young Master.”
“Let’s go.” Lu Liangting didn’t feel like saying more and quickly made his way down.
Sure enough, several cars were already parked downstairs, all belonging to the Lu family business.
Once in the car, Lu Liangting didn’t want to say anything further to his father. He hit the gas and sped off without a word.
As he drove home, his mind was consumed by Zhao Mingyue’s plan from earlier.
“Old Yang, about that Evil God embryo, do you think we could give it a shot? I’ll find a way to get one and have you inhabit it.”
Zhao Mingyue’s explanation had genuinely intrigued him.
So what if the body is a little girl? It’s already a blessing to have it! He could let Old Yang occupy it, even faking an identity so that he could be called ‘big brother’ every day.
“No way, I won’t do it, I refuse.” Old Yang shot back three times in a row.
“Don’t you want to be alive again?”

Old Yang couldn’t hold it in anymore, bursting out from the shadows, almost ready to smack Lu Liangting’s head off.
“Why don’t you try experiencing a new life yourself? Let’s turn you into a woman or even a little girl, just like Bai Yu’s body. Then I can find a living body to inhabit, and you can call me ‘big brother’ every day!”
“I’m not a ghost; I can’t just inhabit anybody!”
“You!” Old Yang fumed, staring at Lu Liangting. Suddenly, he seemed to realize something, pointing an accusing finger. “I say, Lu Liangting, you’re not a twisted little loli lover, are you? The last time you asked me to shower with you, did you have this planned all along? You definitely want me to inhabit an Evil God embryo and force me to shower with you, right?”
“You want me to live in a little girl’s body while you set up my identity so I can be right there with you? You can do whatever you want with me, can’t you?”

Hearing Old Yang’s relentless teasing, Lu Liangting felt both provoked and amused. He could hardly deny that this guy had become more astute throughout this ordeal.
“Listen here, Old Yang, you seem to have confused things. I only just learned about the embryos. I didn’t know anything when we showered that night!”
“Hold on.” Old Yang interrupted, raising a hand. “The more you say, the crazier it sounds. Your liking for lolis at least implies a normal s*xual orientation, but you dragging me to shower…”
Seeing Old Yang take a step back, Lu Liangting was torn between exasperation and laughter.
This guy being a little more ‘conscious’ was good, but why did it feel so needlessly infuriating?
But upon reflection, Old Yang’s poking fun did manage to relieve some of Lu Liangting’s internal pressure.
After throwing a punch at Old Yang, Lu Liangting turned away from this annoying guy and headed straight out.
In these three days, he had to complete two tasks—one each night, then have a good rest the final night.
With that, three days flew by.
