“Wait a minute.” Spider, clutching the sleeping Little Moon in one arm, pointed in a direction with the other. “The Ghost Domain’s people might have left, but that evil spirit left something for us.”
“It’s an unused Evil God embryo,” Spider announced, catching Bai Yu’s attention.
“This embryo hasn’t been nurtured by Evil God power; its quality is poor and lacks significant function. The main difference from a regular person is that its soul has dissipated while the body remains alive.”
To be chosen as an Evil God embryo, a person’s soul must vanish, but their physical body needs to remain alive and healthy.
This embryo Spider found simply met that basic requirement of having a dissipated soul and a living body.
After seeing this embryo, Spider realized why that darn evil spirit was fixated on Little Moon; even if it meant teaming up with the Ghost Domain and taking a gamble, it still wanted to try.
It was simply because its backup embryo was far too weak.

“Do you even believe what you’re saying?” Old Yang felt like punching Lu Liangting.
That guy had to know all along and just didn’t tell him on purpose.
“Fine, think what you want. I just wanted to say this is indeed an opportunity that’s perfect for you; the rest of us doesn’t need it,” Lu Liangting said helplessly. If they were at home, he could argue more with Old Yang, but here he had to let it go with everyone watching.

“Who says no one needs it? Spider, I don’t want this body anymore; you can possess it and use it to take care of Little Moon instead,” Old Yang said, looking back at Spider.
Spider shook her head. “I don’t need it; my current body is more than enough for taking care of Little Moon. This body would actually hinder me.”
This response surprised everyone. Spider genuinely cared for Little Moon’s feelings, willing to give up even the Evil God embryo presented to her.
In other words, she was sacrificing a chance at rebirth.
“Then,” Old Yang glanced around; the only ghost present was Bai Yu, who stood outside watching Little Moon.
“Lu Liangting, how about your Aunt Su?”

Even Zhao Mingyue nodded, “That’s right. Bai Yu adapted quickly, and she said having her body felt nice, like being reborn; even sleep was more comfortable.”
Under everyone’s persuasion, Old Yang reluctantly decided to possess the body.
The process went smoothly; within a minute, the girl on the bed opened her eyes, braced herself up, and tried to clench her fist.
Honestly, this embryo body was indeed different from an average person’s.
