Chapter 23: Bathing
The feeling of the broom flying back was indeed much faster than coming back by car, but the price was that my b*tt was a bit sore.
This time, Sister Bai didn’t fly as fast or as high as before, and I sat sideways on it, hugging Sister Bai’s waist and watching her leisurely fly back. Along the way, we looked down at the brightly lit streets and could indeed see an extra beauty that was absent during the day. It felt like the Witch Academy at night was more vibrant than during the day.

“Bath towel?”

“……” I really wanted to say I had things to do! I just wanted to sleep!
But now it was serious teaching time…

“Work hard in the future? How do I work hard?”
I simply couldn’t associate hard work with not liking to do these things.

After finishing the bath, today was officially over. At this time, I was the only one still bathing, right?
With one hand clutching my bathrobe to keep it from falling, the other hand held my headscarf, and I awkwardly made my way back to my bedroom.
Sister Bai didn’t follow me because she hadn’t bathed yet. Initially, she suggested we bathe together to save time, but I formally declined.
Returning to my bedroom, I saw my nightgown neatly placed on the bed; this was prepared by Sister Bai first, and I could wear it once I was mostly dry.
When I picked it up, I realized it seemed to be a sleep robe?
It was very loose, the hem dragging down to my calf, and there were no buttons, just a tie belt.
I really didn’t know if this sleep robe would still fit me properly in the morning after tossing and turning at night.
Just as I was figuring out how to put the sleep robe on, Sister Bai came in wearing a bath towel, her long hair cascading down.
“Eh? Sister Bai? How did you finish bathing so quickly?” I asked somewhat flustered, though I wasn’t sure why I was flustered; perhaps I was just shocked by Sister Bai’s shower speed.
“It’s getting late, so I used magic. I couldn’t just make you wait here, could I?”
As Sister Bai spoke, she turned sideways, and the bath towel slipped from her body, exposing a large expanse of her snow-white back to the air.
I hurriedly covered my eyes and turned around; no peeking… thank you, no peeking…
Sister Bai, on the other hand, clearly didn’t mind such things. She picked up the sleep robe and put it on, then looked at me with slight satisfaction before walking over.
“Alright, Xiao Han, what are you staring at? Don’t know how to wear this sleep robe?” Sister Bai adjusted the angle of the sleep robe I was holding and draped it over me.
The soft and lightweight feel of the sleep robe rested on my shoulders, and the bath towel slipped from my hand, but the sleep robe quickly wrapped around my body.
“First time wearing it? It’s simple! Just like this, but you should tie the belt yourself; just don’t tie it too tight.”
Sister Bai thoughtfully helped me get everything ready, then went off to rummage through things.
I took the tie belt, wrapped it around my waist, and tied a simple knot in front. “Sister Bai, what are you looking for?”
“I’m checking for a hairdryer. If there isn’t one, I’ll use wind magic to dry your hair. You wouldn’t want to go to bed all wet, would you?”
