Chapter 59: Witch Meditation Method and Ceremony
After escaping from the clutches of Senior Ying Shiqian, I intentionally created some distance between us.
Although I didn’t mind such close interaction with other seniors, it still required time to adapt. I accepted the fact of becoming a girl, but changing my original perception was quite difficult.

“Is that so? Is there any particular reason?”
Hearing Senior Ying Shiqian mention meditation, I became interested. She is a graduate senior, an experienced one, and her experience is quite valuable to me!
“Of course! The Witch Meditation Method is currently the only one of its kind among all meditation methods. There are many intricacies involved. I’ve heard that the meditation state is related to rituals; you can only enter this so-called meditation state if the ritual is accurate.”
“Ritual? What is a ritual?” I quickly caught the keyword from Senior Ying Shiqian. Although I had heard of rituals, it was hard for me to articulate them clearly.
“Maybe something similar to a blessing ritual? To pray for blessings, you perform the corresponding ritual, and completing it signifies the completion of the blessing—that’s probably the idea. I heard that the meditation method also involves rituals, and achieving that ritual to some extent allows you to quickly enter meditation.”
“I see…”
I muttered quietly. Although the senior explained it with a vivid analogy, it was clear I still didn’t quite understand it. However, I was more curious about what the meditation ritual is.

“Teach you… hmm… Actually, it’s not that I don’t want to teach you, but the rituals involved in the Witch Meditation Method are still in a tentative state. You should understand, right? Things that cannot be understood with current knowledge must be constantly attempted to summarize the laws. Then, apply those laws to ultimately master them to achieve your desired goal…”
After I made my request for her to teach me, Senior Ying Shiqian clearly showed a hesitant expression. Although she explained a long segment to me, I generally understood that at this stage, there might not be a mature system to help everyone achieve the meditation state using the same method.
So ultimately, it still relies on metaphysics.
“So, does that mean the so-called ritual doesn’t actually exist?” I asked tentatively.

I can recommend you find a book called ‘Hypothesis of Witch Meditation Rituals’ or check out some recent issues of meditation method journals; they would be very helpful.”
“At least… it’s better than pondering alone…” Senior Ying Shiqian added shyly at the end, trying to salvage her senior image.
“Okay then… thank you for your guidance, Senior! I will check it out,” I politely replied, as she had pointed a path for me, which gave me new insights into meditation methods.
“By the way, Senior, can I ask you a question?”
“A question? Feel free to ask!” After Senior Ying Shiqian said this, she realized she’d overshot and quickly added, “As long as I know, I’ll tell you.”
“Actually, it’s not a difficult question; I’m just curious how long it took for you to meditate and enter that state back then?”
“Oh, you want to know about that? I have to talk about my achievements back then! I only encountered the Witch Meditation Method after the semester officially started. I tried it casually, about two weeks, actually less than two weeks! Meditation is really just that, don’t put too much pressure on yourself!”
Hearing that I wanted to inquire about her past achievements, Senior Ying Shiqian immediately became animated. It seemed that spending two weeks was quite a commendable accomplishment for her.
Since that’s the case, I could set a small goal for myself. With more than a month before the official classes start, I could complete meditation before classes begin, surpass most new students, and achieve a shortcut to success!

“Hmm, I will.”
After chatting with the senior for a while longer, I returned to my relaxing time.
I also casually flipped through the books on the Witch Meditation Method to get a basic idea of meditation.
After work today, I wanted to buy some incense to try meditation.
How about trying the meditation room Senior recommended tonight?
