Chapter 648: Further Refinement of the Heart Realm Field
At this moment, I was playing with a crystallized bone in my hand; it was the bone of a mutated beast.
My clones not only look like myself but also resemble others. Perhaps they inherit the aspirations of others, or their appearances, or they might help the wicked atone for their sins, or assist the good in keeping promises.
These clones that are not quite me yet still are… are an experience.
In the past, I tended to escape or treat many unexpected events with indifference because I did not allow myself to encounter too many accidents in life.
These were clearly just imaginative things that hadn’t truly happened, yet I labeled them as… undesirable things and then went on to avoid them.
However, after experiencing this through clones without any concerns, I found that… things could develop into even worse scenarios.
But I had no regrets.
Because I knew I had gone through such experiences. If this really were something I encountered in life, rather than through a clone, then I, with such an experience, would have confidence in doing better.
Life simply lacks too many opportunities for trial and error; confidence isn’t created out of nothing, but is nurtured instead. The prerequisite for cultivating confidence is… one’s own strength.
Whether through powerful abilities, like my reckless attempts using clones, constantly experiencing and enriching my inner self, or inner strength, continually trying in life without being defeated by failures, gradually gaining power.
These seem to be two interrelated paths…
I used to overthink in the academy and gained many realizations, but I was unable to truly change myself because I lacked life experiences. Without experiences, merely knowing grand principles is useless, lacking depth and resonance.
Many famous quotes, grand principles, and motivational phrases are merely summaries of a person’s reflections on their behaviors; they don’t tell you how to do it, just that you should do it.
It’s like overcoming laziness; motivational speeches tell you not to be lazy and to study hard!
But they don’t tell you how to overcome laziness, how to have execution power, how to defeat procrastination, how to strive, what state is suitable for effort, and when to take a break.
These are difficulties that need to be overcome under the admonition “Don’t be lazy.” How could it be summarized with just “Go work hard”?
These insights are adjustments for myself, as well as a form of cultivation for me.
Because I discovered that the more transparent my soul becomes, the less I fear difficulties.
The less I fear difficulties, the more I can perceive the laws of things; this aligns well with a kind of cultivation of the heart realm. Heart Sense is the source of perceiving these matters, understanding their deeper meanings.
Previously, I naively thought that Heart Sense only related to understanding what the five senses perceive; but what is hidden beneath that perception?
Emotions and desires.
I can learn more about a person through the five senses, regardless of whether they plead, mock, ridicule, or curse. Language is always so pale; the expression of emotions and the release of desires represent the true information a person conveys outwardly.
Before I traveled, I constantly sought a “carrier” within the heart realm that could sustain my sensory perceptions. Initially, I thought it was Knowledge Power, but obviously, I was too presumptive. Attempting to use Knowledge Power as a carrier turned it into the craft under the order system of Knowledge Power, which wasn’t the order expression of the field.
Although I made mistakes in my attempts, I improved a craft, which consists of the five-sense perception art formed by Knowledge Power, similar to… “Five-Sense Theft Device”?
But ultimately, I categorized this craft under the “Annotation” craft because the Annotation craft is the mainstream craft evolved from Knowledge Power. Instead of having multiple crafts for one order, it’s better to unify, making it easier to use in the end.
However, in these past months, did I find a method to integrate the field with five-sense order?
I did, and… it was quite simple.
The carrier that holds the five-sense order was something I had continuously misled myself into thinking. Since it has been confirmed that the perception of the five senses can indeed integrate into the field like the seventh sense of Time Sense, then it is naturally also a part of the field. Thus… the field itself is its carrier!
But how it is sustained and how the five-sense order is expressed remained unpredictable to me…
First, I need to understand one point: Knowledge Power is the manifestation of my field’s order, but it is not entirely the product of the two Great Spellbooks.
If I hadn’t facilitated the birth of the field, the double-tree structure formed by the two Great Spellbooks wouldn’t produce field order, which is Knowledge Power. The double-tree structure serves only as an “anchor” for the extension of my field.
Therefore, Knowledge Power itself is the order of my field, merely taking this form under the two Great Spellbooks.
Without these two Great Spellbooks, perhaps it would appear quite different, but there are no “ifs” in reality; this is merely my preconceived notion.
So as the five-sense perception merges with the heart realm order, what it still expresses is… “Knowledge Power.”
If I must lay blame, I can only fault my poor naming choice, but I have no regrets.
The Great Knowledge Tree contains vast reserves of knowledge, so Knowledge Power has the ability to surface knowledge. The Grand Wisdom Enlightenment Tree represents the enlightenment of wisdom and also signifies the deduction of wisdom, allowing Knowledge Power to continuously perform deductions and iterations.
During one attempt in the dream world, I found that this deduction of knowledge can even exceed the knowledge stored within the Great Knowledge Tree.
Thus… theoretically, I now have two pathways to acquire knowledge: the first is to directly obtain knowledge from the outside world via the Great Knowledge Tree, and the second is to derive knowledge through the deduction of the Grand Wisdom Enlightenment Tree, attaining higher-level knowledge. However, the second route is quite difficult; I only achieved this successfully once, and that was by accident.
Now, setting aside the two Great Spellbooks, my field order of “Knowledge Power” has also demonstrated a brand-new ordered characteristic.
It originates from the order of Body Cultivation!
Vision, hearing, smell, taste, touch.
The perception of the five senses transforms into field order, with countless corresponding representations continually manifesting in the field as “eyes,” “ears,” “noses,” “tongues,” and “hands”…
These are a layer of “representations,” acting as inherent impressions that embody sensory perception; this is the heart realm.
If all of this had been without the two Great Spellbooks, then this would be what my Body Cultivation field presented, quite horrifying!
Like a hell on earth!
The five-sense representations stir human reason by continuously presenting themselves.
However, as I previously mentioned, there are no “ifs.” When these representations continuously integrate with the field, they ultimately transform into… “Knowledge Power,” a very peculiar kind of Knowledge Power.
How does the Knowledge Power that inherits “knowledge” and “wisdom deduction” express the five senses?
Instinct always reacts more swiftly than my subjective thoughts; it provided me with an answer.
The five senses materialize into runic ceremonies representing “vision, hearing, smell, taste, and touch”!
And these five runic ceremonies are a brand-new type, at least so far, I have not encountered this type of runes.
I feel like I might have gone a bit insane with rune literature during this time…
Furthermore… this does not necessarily have to be runes! Yet it represents Knowledge Power, the order of the field; it is imbued with the meaning of runes within my field, corresponding to the ceremonies.
It will become the most “basic” and “inseparable” smallest runic ceremony within my field!
Each rune represents the entirety of the most intuitive meaning of one of the five senses.
Once these five runes were born, I pondered a question: can these runes form composite runes?
Composite runes bestow spell structures and spell ceremonies; can a pure runic ceremony belonging solely to “Body Cultivation” give rise to a pure “spell”?
Then where exactly is the boundary between “Body Cultivation” and “Magic Cultivation”?
Or is it… a form of “different paths leading to the same destination” in interpreting the “Extraordinary”?
These speculations remain unanswered, as these questions await my exploration.
I continued to play with the beast bone, moving toward the distant place I needed to reach, for a huge crack had appeared in the sky, strikingly evident.
What created this miracle was the magic sisters merging small worlds, resulting in spatial cracks. It is a natural fissure that connects the Core Realm with the Expanding Realm, and it is the largest crack, which remains unhealed even after the full integration of the Expanding Realm.
I recalled that I seemed to have learned about the fissure that opened in the sky above Horasso Swamp in the Main World, but I hadn’t paid much attention to it.
Moreover, after I developed the Qi Observation technique, it seemed no more cracks had emerged.
This time, my goal in coming here was to witness this marvel.
Although I have gone back and forth between the Expanding Realm and the Core Realm several times, even using the established stable teleportation channels multiple times, it still hasn’t hindered my desire to comprehend this more primal and violent phenomenon of opening space!
Of course, my exploration of the essence of space also aids in my understanding of the “Eighth Sense: Space Sense.”
Last time, when I encountered the Space Maze, I missed the opportunity for insight. Although I gained a deeper understanding of material space, the Space Sense of Body Cultivation didn’t emerge, not even in its embryonic form.
So I hoped that this time would yield some fruitful results.
However, as I approached that area, I could see the crack more clearly. It resembled a scar stretching across the sky, surrounded by countless cracks that displayed its once-great enormity.
But what left me in disbelief was that the ridge causing this spatial fissure was made of World Source Soil!
And beneath the ridge lay various extraordinary materials made of World Source Soil, along with a vast amount of spatial attribute materials, forming a solid space maze that encircled the ridge and the mountains!
I advanced further; the terrain here was steeper, seemingly caused by the Earth’s primal pressure and faults.
Between the land fractures, I could see countless torn roots, once the foundational support for a civilization’s development.
After feeling the might of heaven and earth, I felt a sense of fulfillment in my sensory training.
This was not merely the greatness of nature; it was equally the might of the extraordinary!
Conquering nature, transforming nature.
Though all of this felt far away from me, I stepped forward with determination.
If this mountain range composed of World Source Soil were to be seen by the students of the Extraordinary Academy, their eyes would surely light up?
Yet if we speak of the least “valuable” item among the three world sources, it would be World Source Soil.
Because it is the most stable among the three.
Extraordinary Crystals are unstable as they are energy and can lower their energy levels and release energy at any time.
However, World Source Soil is highly stable; it is stable to the point where not even my strongest power can shake it.
And I have learned about the characteristics of World Source Soil from the information collected from the Great Knowledge Tree—World Source Soil can transform into any material, including rare extraordinary materials, but all of this cannot be achieved through brute force, even by those who have transcended to extraordinary power.
Rather, it requires special techniques.
Only one being possesses the skill to transform World Source Soil, and that is… the world itself.
The world itself transforms World Source Soil into the foundation for a prosperous world; the prefix of “world” before source soil is because only the world itself can transform and utilize it.
Usually, World Source Soil itself has no distinct characteristics or encompasses countless characteristics, but it is the most stable kind of material and the most constant resource exchanged between worlds.
However, for us, its best use is to build houses, granting you the most stable house in the world that even the extraordinary cannot destroy.
Of course, there is a prerequisite: the house made of World Source Soil must be a whole.
Yet a mountain ridge of such magnitude, while magnificent, also gathers a large population of mutated beasts.
Clearly, this environment is not suitable for human habitation.
Upon my arrival, even with the field fully expanded, I could sense no signs of shelters or residences here; one could say it is a human’s dead end, a paradise for mutated beasts.
Moreover, at the foot of the mountain, the World Source Soil has already been transformed into various extraordinary materials, forming a vast spatial maze. Although it doesn’t change like the Seed Vault, the area covered by this spatial maze is beyond the extent of the Seed Vault’s earth vein gathering!
However, before truly researching that spatial crack, I found myself more interested in the “ecosystem” formed by the large population of mutated beasts here.
As I thought about this, I looked at the beast bone in my hand and gazed into the distance as if discovering a brand-new toy.
The reason I am so intrigued by the mutated beasts in the Expanding Realm is that I discovered they do not seem to be the undesirable elements that need to be eradicated; they are also a part of the Expanding Realm.
Thus, there would be no harm in lending them a helping hand.
Moreover… the extraordinary materials exposed on the surface of the Expanding Realm will eventually be exhausted.
But the Expanding Realm needs a continuously cycling, stable output.
I believe mutated beasts are such a product.
They have great developmental potential and will also be a group of “treasures.”
Therefore, they need wisdom and strength; they are both treasures themselves and the guardians of the treasure.
Just like the crystallized bone I was playing with in my hand, it is a remarkably valuable extraordinary material.
Even the inhabitants of the Expanding Realm can rely on these mutated beasts to develop an entirely new power system. The strength I grant them is merely “beginner’s equipment.”
The development of civilization and the path to the extraordinary must be forged by themselves.
