“Why is the door taking so long to open?”
“Are you okay, Old Chen? I heard you broke up?”
“Yeah, we broke up.” Chen Yuan opened the door and welcomed everyone inside.
“So… it’s over?” Li Hua was the first to be shocked. Why does Chen Yuan look like nothing happened?!
“Yeah.” Chen Yuan chuckled lightly, “You guys thought it was serious, right?”
“Well, of course! We’ve prepared food and drinks for you!” Luo Zichuan placed skewers and beer on the dining table.

Just as he took out a paper cup and turned to return to the dining table, someone suddenly popped out of the kitchen!
The cup fell…
And everyone stood frozen…
A beautiful girl with white hair came out of the kitchen carrying fresh meat soup and a large bowl of fried rice.
All the guys pouring Chen Yuan a drink were frozen in time, their hands suspended in mid-air…
Cloey just went back to the kitchen for more soup and brought out the fried rice she liked…
Of course, Chen Yuan couldn’t stop his buddies from seeing this situation.
Although he felt it would end badly, he could only open the door.
Just as he opened the door, Cloey got up and went back into the kitchen…
He noticed none of them were reacting and wondered why these guys weren’t showing the expected reaction upon seeing Cloey…
Then he turned around to find Cloey was gone.
But noticing the meat soup and rice bowl had disappeared from the table, he guessed Cloey must have gone into the kitchen to get more soup.
So, that reaction was indeed spot on…

The time stop ended when Cloey walked towards Chen Yuan holding the meat soup.
Huang Zhisheng picked up the paper cup and then followed the unanimous gaze of the others to stare at Cloey…
“Tsk! What are you looking at?!”
It wasn’t until Chen Yuan exclaimed in surprise that the few of them regained clarity in their eyes, now filled with shock and confusion.
It felt like a betrayal, yet they felt helpless.

Saying she’s his teacher? Nobody would believe that; this was the only explanation he could come up with.

“Sorry for the misunderstanding, Old Chen. Look at us, we didn’t consider it properly. If you had only said so, we wouldn’t have worried!” Liu Yuhang occasionally glanced at Cloey as he spoke.
Chen Yuan: “…”
“Those who understand should help the girl out, yet here you are, just watching!” Li Hua had already gone to take the soup and bowl from Cloey’s hands.
Then he naturally placed the meat soup in the middle and handed a full bowl of fried rice to Chen Yuan. “You have quite the appetite; eating so much seems like you’re really okay. Then I can relax!”
“That, that’s mine…” Cloey thought to herself.
A full bowl of fried rice was naturally assumed by Li Hua to be Chen Yuan’s portion.
“Is there something wrong with eating a lot?!” Chen Yuan protested!
“Such unnecessary worry for him!”
“Then we’ll… leave first.”
Huang Zhisheng decisively suggested, as the buddies came here out of concern. Now that the two were in their own world, they felt it wasn’t right to continue disturbing them.
As for the many questions, they decided to leave them for later to ask Old Chen privately.
