Ben Shaba is an evil and willful goddess.
She is narrow-minded and extremely jealous of her sister, believing that mortals should worship her as they do the Goddess of Luck (at least they should show her verbal respect). Therefore, even though many mortals fear Ben Shaba’s power and thoughts, they have to invite and welcome her to various formal occasions (such as weddings or coronations), sports or martial arts competitions, and naming ceremonies for newborns. Because failing to invite her could bring about the Whip Maiden’s endless revenge attacks on all related persons (that is, a permanent string of misfortune).
This goddess collects faith from people’s fear, and even the gods are wary of dealing with her.
Ben Shaba’s church has a strong desire to inflict suffering, and the recent disaster near the Southern Coast is related to a special ritual held by her church.
In the church of the Goddess of Misfortune, whenever an important priest member passes away or a priest rises in ranks within the church, her followers hold a special festival called “Dissolution.” This is a rarely held pious ritual, where the followers send the deceased’s body down the river along with many lit candles, whereupon the body will be transformed into powerful undead beings, at least monsters of legendary challenge level, and randomly teleported to any location on the continent to cause large-scale chaos. The latter is called “Ascension,” filled with deep drum music, dancing on hot coals, and various marking or tattooing rituals.
The cause of the disaster was “Dissolution.”
A Holy Spirit Priest within the church of the Goddess of Misfortune died.
During this ritual, the Holy Spirit Priest was transformed into a terrifying undead life form, at least a monster of legendary challenge level.
Consequently, a town suffered a catastrophic disaster!
As the patron of the Lady of Misfortune, Soren has no goodwill towards this goddess. Because she herself is an extremely willful existence, any action that angers her could lead to curses. Even Soren, like the other gods, harbors a bit of wariness and fear towards her.
Because luck is the easiest thing to bring misfortune!
The appearance of the Goddess of Misfortune means that the “Twin Contention” will also begin, which makes Soren feel somewhat uneasy. He does not want to get involved in the conflict between the Goddess of Misfortune and the Goddess of Luck. The final outcome, regardless of who wins, wouldn’t necessarily be good for him.
As long as it doesn’t threaten what he cares about, Soren decides to just observe the situation.
Moreover, he has an important task at hand, which is to conduct the second large-scale test of the Battle Flag Plane and attempt to create Demon Hunters in the Divine Kingdom.
The former is already in preparation.
It is estimated that within half a month, Modo will conduct a large-scale Battle Flag Trial, and this time, Soren needs to test whether his modified devices will still result in casualties.
As for the latter, it is a very crucial key!
Demon Hunters are an important part of Soren’s future plans. They will be the vanguard attacking the Demon God of Fear’s Divine Kingdom, a vital combat force to completely eliminate the Demon God of Fear, and a main force in future divine wars against other gods.
Creating Demon Hunters is not easy.
It requires Soren’s divine power as well as the bloodline seed of the Demon Avatar. What Soren wants now is a more mass-producible method. He aims to assimilate it into the reincarnation pool within the Divine Kingdom, then create a separate reincarnation pool to directly transform all souls that can ascend to become Demon Hunters.
Demon Hunters are inherently close to high-level strength!
If enough Demon Hunters can be cultivated, they will compensate for the combat power shortfall of the Divine Kingdom and can also enhance the flexibility that the Golem Legion lacks in intelligence.
A suitable divine profession for Vivian has yet to be found.
She was originally the Fear Witch, and the most suitable divine profession for her is undoubtedly “Fear,” but finding a suitable stepping stone is not easy. Currently, though some gods have fallen, it does not have much to do with Vivian. Soren also does not dare to rashly wage war with other pantheons, as gods without a pantheon as a backer are basically hiding away during this period. Therefore, the best scenario is for Vivian to directly acquire the “Fear” divine profession, which would mean she can quickly advance to “Medium Divine Power,” and once she fully integrates the Demon God of Fear’s power, Vivian can easily attain Strong Divine Power.
If a pantheon has two gods of Strong Divine Power, it qualifies to carve out a territory within the Pantheon.
Soren is inevitably using Strong Divine Power as the standard. Currently, among the people he can rally, Saruman is at most “Weak Divine Power.” The chance for the Whip Maiden to advance is low, and the Princess of Arendelle is at least at “Medium Divine Power,” but whether she is willing to join his pantheon is still uncertain.
Rather than fostering others.
For Soren, it’s better to allow Vivian, whom he can completely trust, to obtain the “Fear” divine profession as soon as possible!
The integration of the Divine Kingdom is underway.
The Demon Avatar has controlled nearly one-fifth of the land in the Land of Forgotten.
The Golem Legion in Modo is taking shape.
“Elemental Fusion” is under research, and once completed, Modo can proceed with the final modification plan for the Floating City, greatly expanding the energy supply of the Golem Legion.
For Soren.
Everything he has accumulated is about to reach a breaking point, and when the time is right, he will bring the Divine Kingdom down to the Bottomless Abyss and then launch an attack on the Demon God of Fear’s Divine Kingdom!
To destroy the Throne of Fear.
The Throne of Fear must be destroyed before the God of Murder breaks the seal; only then can Vivian successfully take over the “Fear” divine profession.
Attacking a god’s realm is a massive war, requiring truly astonishing power! Until now, Soren has remained silent, neither expanding territory in the Material Plane nor developing his faith in the regions of other gods, in order to reduce hostility from others, so that he can launch an attack on the Demon God of Fear’s Divine Kingdom without worries.
To speak frankly!
With Modo’s current strength and Soren’s accumulated power over such a long time, he could dominate all the coastlines in the south in a single day, conquer the Rosad Duchy in three days, and expand northward to Deepwater Port near the Northern Witch’s Tower within seven days, control half of the Southern Coast’s land in half a month, and directly reach Amber City and the vicinity of White Horse City within a month.
A massive naval force.
A strong army corps.
An era-defining combat unit of floating airships. (Note: Secret armed unit.)
An already formed Wyvern Legion.
A floating tower capable of high-altitude energy strikes.
And a Golem Legion that can be teleported to any place on the Southern Coast for combat at any time.
If Soren wants to expand, he can instantly swell Modo into the largest kingdom in the southern region!
However.
He has not done so.
Because for him, Vivian is more important than all of this; all his continued efforts are to destroy the “Throne of Fear,” not to waste on territorial expansion. He does not want to confront the gods head-on at this point; Modo’s power has always been concealed, but when Soren truly takes action, it will surely be like a thunderous force!
(PS: Let me clarify, “Unbeaten Legend” is a national war type client game, different from traditional online games. There is no experience mode; you can level up by taking down a boss, and after playing for a while, you can directly immerse yourself in group battles. It’s relatively easy for students and office workers to play. During boss battles, you can win physical prizes like Durex, and log-in rewards include talk time and coins, so friends who are tired of reading can join me to play a bit.) (To be continued ~^~)
