The Plague of Undead had reached its final stage, which was a period of turmoil where many undead lost control and began rampaging. The fundamental reason for this phenomenon was the God of d*ath – Naraku abandoning control over these undead, preparing to absorb the power of d*ath and advance to Strong Divine Power.
Klanvor’s Domain of Eternal Sleep had already shattered.
The final wave of this undead plague could simply be divided into three parts, which were the three epic tasks that adventurers intervened in years ago.
The first part was related to the Red Robe Wizards, whose necromancy faction’s chief ‘Sazastan’ was a powerful Demigod Lich leading the remaining Red Robe Wizards to attack the Torre region. Since the Red Robe Wizards were almost completely destroyed, the surviving wizards were mainly necromantic spellcasters and liches, thus the battle in this part affected the entire Torre region, involving deities including Lady Silver Moon, Noble Goddess, God of Craft, and God of Suffering, among others. These deities’ churches secretly intervened to stop the Red Robe Wizards, and the original high-level adventurers also joined this epic task.
The final battle ended with Sazastan’s d*ath, and the Red Robe Wizards retreated to the realm of undead.
However, it is now hard to say, mainly depending on whether other deities will personally intervene, as there are no longer so many adventurers.
The second part of the task was the counterattack by the Dragon Worship Sect and Dragon Witch Sect. This part had already been severely struck by Soren, and there were already good faction dragons on the continent attacking members of the Dragon Witch Sect, making this epic task the one with the lowest difficulty at present. With other dragons involved, the Dragon Witch Sect found it hard to become a significant force, and the God of d*ath Naraku had no time to assist them.
The third part is crucial.
This is the highest-level epic task since the Saint’s Cataclysm erupted!
Those who were qualified to join this epic task were primarily legendary to demigod-level adventurers, and now the indigenous people eligible to intervene also needed to possess at least demigod strength.
