Chapter Forty-Nine: Lady of Calamity! [Request for Recommendation Votes]
Countless souls flew out.
These are the mortals who died since the outbreak of the Plague, the exact number is hard to say, but it is definitely in the tens of millions. Such a vast number has become impossible to count; the Lord of Radiance has taken away most of the good souls, while the evil souls were judged. However, there is a limit to this; even deities would not easily extinguish souls. Apart from these souls, many more ordinary souls exist, gray and indistinct. These people had no obvious good or evil; they did good deeds and bad deeds when alive, and this type of person is often the majority among mortals. These gray souls gathered together, their numbers astonishing. Under the radiance of the Lord, they turned gray-white and then each fled into the ground.
The Material Plane also has a River of the Underworld.
But mortals cannot see it, for the River is deep within the Material Plane, an incomprehensibly vast vortex that directly sucks in souls and takes them to other planes.
In general, when ordinary people d*e, they are buried in the ground, and their souls are drawn into the River, then reach the Underworld through the Spirit World. The souls imprisoned by Naraku were freed, but at the cost of Naraku’s rapid loss of power, soon enough its presence became comparable to Klanvor, but still slightly stronger.
Long before the appearance of the Lord of Radiance, the Lich Queen of the Gisz had fled.
This ancient and exceedingly evil being was incredibly cautious; it is said that to prevent her position from being threatened, many Gisz who had a profession level exceeding level 11 would be drained and controlled by her.
This Lich Queen had existed for a long time.
Her existence can even be traced back to the history of the Spirit Sucking Monster Empire, and for a monster that can live so long, her ability to adapt is somewhat remarkable. When she sensed that the situation was dire, as the Lord of Radiance had become involved in this conflict, she immediately abandoned Naraku and fled back to the Astral Realm.
The Astral Realm is boundless, making it difficult even for the gods to find her.

As the Lord of Radiance appeared, Soren’s expression relaxed, and he immediately said, “Temporarily halt the long-range strikes from the Arcane Tower!”
“Gloria!”
“You take over the Arcane Tower’s authority; I need to personally go to the Bone Land.”
Gloria’s figure appeared; her expression showed a hint of concern, but seeing Soren’s determined look, she could only bite her lip and nod.
After all, this is a struggle between strong divine powers!

“Come back alive.” The Fallen Witch’s figure also appeared on the tower, her expression unfaltering as she gazed at Soren, then suddenly stepped forward and hugged him fiercely.
Gloria seemed unaffected by this, appearing to know a little something.
“I’ll wait for your return.” Gloria stood on the astrological platform, reaching out to gently stroke her abdomen, seemingly expressing something to Soren.
Soren nodded and smiled, “Don’t worry. I never do things without certainty.”
Two beams of light appeared.
“Brother!”
“Brother!”
Vivian and Lilian’s figures materialized, their young faces resolute as they said, “We’ll go with you.”
In that moment, Soren did not hesitate, nodding and saying, “Alright.”
The tone of the two little girls was unassailable, and at such a time, Soren knew how to make decisions.
Outside the Arcane Tower.
Crystal-like snowflakes appeared, and the figure of the Princess quietly emerged. She glanced at the several women before her, slightly furrowing her brows, then said, “Let’s go. The moment of battle is fleeting.”
A hazy figure emerged.
“Don’t disappoint me.” The Agricultural Goddess raised her long hair slightly and glanced at Soren, then said, “The next matters will depend on you.”

Apart from the Princess being able to fight alongside Soren, the other goddesses could at most cheer him on.

The Lady of Misfortune transformed herself and walked slowly to Soren, then kissed his cheek, whispering, “Your enemies will all be shrouded in misfortune…”
An unexpected deity.
Now she was placing her bets on Soren, and it seemed she was betting big! (Note: Curse of Misfortune.)
“Why?” Soren asked in confusion.
The Lady of Calamity smiled, glancing at the Princess with an expression that seemed dismissive. Then, hinting, she said, “After all, we are all in the Bottomless Abyss, are we not? … Those beyond fate… the new Child of Destiny…”
The enchanting figure laughed lightly.
Then she slowly faded from view. This evil goddess had a very bad reputation. It is said that she harbors grudges and seeks revenge for slights, and she is extremely jealous of her sister, the Goddess of Luck, while people love the Goddess of Luck but greatly fear her. The Lady of Calamity possesses special divine powers, wielding the strengths of [Fate], [Opportunity], and [Trickery]. She can bless others to be free from misfortune, and similarly curse certain individuals to be plagued by misfortune, and this extends even to gods, although the effect is far less than when it is applied to mortals.
The Lady of Calamity’s figure vanished.
Soren, in that moment, did not know whether this matter was good or bad. If the Goddess of Luck did not choose to aid Naraku and Klanvor because of her, then this matter would be an absolute advantage for him!
