Abyss Domination – Chapter 1208

**Chapter Sixty-Nine: City of Yenogu! [Second Update]**

February 13, 2017

Author: Floating Tower of All Beings

Bottomless Abyss, Level 600.

Convincing the Minotaur King Baphomet was even easier than Solon had imagined. This Demon Lord had harbored hatred for the King of Werewolves Yenogu for thousands of years, so when the opportunity to completely annihilate this enemy arose, he accepted without any hesitation. Especially after Yenogu’s power had been growing stronger and frequently invading his territory, Baphomet had even contemplated launching a counterattack when Yenogu’s strength waned. The Minotaur King stood a towering twelve feet high, his heavy and massive build concealed beneath thick, tangled black fur, with exaggerated muscles evident. His head resembled a demonized bull, and massive, forward-curving horns stained with the blood of countless victims added to his fierce appearance, accentuated further by his cloven feet and cow-like tail.

This Minotaur King was not considered a particularly powerful Demon Lord.

However, his challenge level was 24, making defeating him roughly comparable to single-handedly tackling an ancient dragon. He rarely left his labyrinth, usually only summoning avatars, so the true challenge of killing him was likely around level 30.

This Demon Lord created the Blezum demon, bovines, and greater minotaurs.

In some respects, he was not as weak as he appeared on the surface, having the ability to extract his own bloodline to breed new demon species, akin to how Solon created Demon Hunters.

The voice of the Minotaur King Baphomet was deep and heavy; he was a Demon Lord filled with the desire for battle, possibly born from ‘Wrath’, as he and his spawned kin possessed frenzied power. Among Baphomet’s followers were many barbarian warriors.

“I agree to your alliance proposal,” the Minotaur King Baphomet said in a low voice.

Solon proposed a temporary pact, swearing by the River of Underworld to confront the King of Werewolves Yenogu, with loot being distributed according to individual contributions.

To ensure mutual gains, the territory Yenogu controlled would be divided into three parts once he was defeated.

Solon’s burly figure appeared even more formidable than the Minotaur King Baphomet, as the Balroth Fire Demon was one of the largest demons in the Bottomless Abyss. He nodded in satisfaction and said, “Very well. You can prepare to summon your legion. We will launch the attack in three days.”

Yenogu, the King of Werewolves, must be eliminated quickly.

This urgency arose because the devil legions from the Hell of Bartok had begun to stir. Though the regions overseas in the Material Plane remained relatively peaceful, other areas began seeing frequent devil activity.

The final wave of assault was imminent.

The true elite devils had yet to make their appearance; those presently showing up were merely lowly minions. Once the devils confirmed a significant decline in power within the Material Plane, the legion that occupied the majority of the Ten Thousand Abyss Plains on the first level of the Bottomless Abyss would be mobilized. At that time, they would leave only a small fraction of their legion stationed while the rest headed to the Material Plane to wage war.

Solon had to take down Yenogu.

This would allow him to smoothly take over the Iron Fortress controlled by Yenogu in the first and second levels of the Bottomless Abyss, while he cared little for Yenogu’s original territorial domain.

The Bottomless Abyss, Level 422, was still too deep.

Solon’s Lawful Evil Faction was not suited for occupying deeper levels; as one ascended in the Bottomless Abyss, the levels became larger and more accommodating to creatures from other factions. Most evil spirits operated within the first fifty levels of the Bottomless Abyss, and unless for significant transactions, they generally wouldn’t venture deeper.

Time passed quickly.

In the distant City of Modo, as the demon army at the Gurenba Arena began to gather, an incredibly massive beheading sword finally took shape within the temple of Modo.

—[Soul Reaver] (Black Magic Sword)!

Endless Death Aura emanated from this enormous beheading sword, infused with the power of Orcus’ Staff, and reforged by Solon’s divinity. Its weight reached an astonishing two tons; a normal swing felt like a heavy mortar, capable of easily demolishing walls several meters thick. This artifact was endowed with powers over death, allowing enemies slain by it to be resurrected as undead. Additionally, it possessed the ability to imprison souls, with up to around three thousand souls able to be contained; once charged to a certain degree, the imprisoned souls would manifest as vengeful spirits to assault enemies.

It could also awaken a battalion of fifty skeletal warriors.

This artifact was personally forged by Solon, and naturally, only a Demon Avatar could wield it. Before launching the attack on Yenogu, he teleported this artifact to the Bottomless Abyss.

Bottomless Abyss, Level 422.

Having already taken over the territory of the King of Ghouls, Doreisen, on Level 421, Solon could easily lead his demon legion directly to Yenogu’s domain.

The primary ambition of the King of Werewolves, Yenogu, was to witness the prosperity of his kind—his werewolves. He envisioned a Material Plane dominated by his subjects, where elves, humans, dwarves, and halflings were merely slaves and prey for werewolves. However, he knew that achieving this goal for werewolves within the Material Plane was impossible, so he strongly supported believers from other races who worshipped him. The leader of the mysterious Mori family was once one of his most potent human followers, but under the plotting of the Succubus Queen, Mikanxute, this family was destroyed in internal strife.

From that day on, the King of Werewolves, Yenogu, regarded the Succubus Queen as his greatest enemy and periodically attacked her territory.

Today.

The King of Werewolves, Yenogu, faced an immense challenge.

Outside his City of Yenogu, a vast army appeared on the horizon—an army of infernal minotaurs from the Bottomless Abyss, Level 600, a half-succubus legion from Level 570, and a demon army from Level 3 of the Bottomless Abyss.

Unlike other levels in the Bottomless Abyss.

The City of Yenogu had a considerable number of human slaves, which the King of Werewolves had painstakingly acquired from other planes.

He was a clever and far-sighted Demon Lord.

Since around two thousand years ago, he had been breeding humans, dwarves, elves, halflings, and other races, accidentally trapped in the Bottomless Abyss, lured to the abyss. Yenogu transformed them into slaves, keeping them imprisoned and bred, with the highest number being humans. He ruled these human slaves with cruel tyranny, with casualties occurring almost every year, as these deceased slaves became food for werewolves. Yenogu would only rarely reward werewolves with living human slaves, and those humans often didn’t last long.

He bred other races as a labor force for enslavement and also as sustenance for werewolves.
