(You all are amazing, finishing writing and being able to find the model of the pirate woman right away. Besides the hair color being wrong, it’s really close to what I envisioned. She has that wild sensual feeling with a hint of Amazonian bl**d, and also a big chest. — The dazed followers of Floating Tower.)

The story isn’t that complicated.
Adele’s mother went out to sea with her husband shortly after their marriage, but unexpectedly encountered the then pirate leader “Orca.” That group of pirates robbed their ship and killed everyone else on board. Only her mother was kept alive due to her beauty, and then she was taken back to undergo some not-so-harmonious experiences. This semi-imprisoned life continued until Adele was born, and for some reasons, her mother later also died.
At a relatively young age.
The next events are quite simple; she was raised by the pirate leader “Orca.” Remarkably, this infamous pirate leader developed the intention to retire upon having a daughter. Originally, he planned to leave a large inheritance for her and find a place far from the sea to live in seclusion, but unexpectedly, he was ambushed by his peers at that time. Adele was not a weak woman without the strength to fight back; on the contrary, she inherited a quarter of her Amazonian bl**d from her father.
So she planned for revenge!
This woman recruited a lot of subordinates and leveraged her father’s former reputation to build a following.
However, being a woman, her strength and reputation were still insufficient. Although she acquired a ship and a group of followers, she still couldn’t defeat the “Sea Wolf” that ambushed her father. Just at this moment, she heard news about a merchant ship filled with gold, silver, and jewels, so she made a very bold decision: to attempt to seize this fortune. Although she knew this was dangerous, if she managed to capture a ship and even gain some benefits, she would have enough wealth to recruit more men.
Because this fortune was too enormous!
However, it seemed her plan had failed, as before it even began, her subordinates were all killed by Soren, and she herself became Soren’s captive.
“Just with this trash, you want to rob the Betrayer Merchant Association.”
Soren’s lips curled into a slight arc, carrying a hint of mockery as he said, “I really don’t know whether you’re smart or foolish, or if you’re truly as the tales say—a big chest and no brain.”
Adele’s pale face reddened, revealing a hint of anger, as if Soren’s words had struck her heart and made her feel how foolish her decisions were. She also noticed that her clothing in front had torn a bit due to the ropes binding her, making her full bosom appear even more pronounced, creating a shape that filled her with shame. However, Soren had tied her up in a rather crude and straightforward manner. Even if she wanted to move, she couldn’t.
“It seems the value of keeping you alive is not very high!”
Soren squinted slightly, his dagger transforming into shadows at his fingertips, his universal skillful hand greatly enhancing his finger dexterity, so that the opponent couldn’t even clearly see the outline of the dagger. He squatted in front of the pirate woman, gazing into her pupils, and said in a low voice, “Aside from the wealth left by your deceased father, it seems you have nothing of much value.”
“You’ve seen it too.”
“My goal is also that group of Betrayers’ merchant caravans. If I get a hold of that wealth, what your father left behind would be nothing at all.”
“Do you think I should let you live? After all, I don’t really like to let an enemy go!”
“Perhaps I should make you an undead; that way, you could still be of some use.”
Adele’s face visibly paled even more, and she struggled a bit, her expression turning desperate as she said, “I… I can swear loyalty to you!… I can also serve you!… My father left behind many things, including a secret treasure map!… It’s said to reach some mysterious place!…”
A treasure map?
Soren showed a hint of interest, glanced at her, and said, “I don’t believe in verbal loyalty; your loyalty is quite cheap to me. Maybe in the Southern Coast, you can be considered a relatively skilled pirate, but in the whole world, you are merely an existence like an ant. As for serving me, I must admit your body is quite attractive. However, I’ve learned a lesson in the Underdark: the prettier the woman, the more dangerous she is, especially if she could be your enemy.”
“However!…”
Just when Adele’s emotions were sinking lower and her expression becoming more desperate, Soren suddenly swung the dagger. The target was not her throat but the ropes on her body. Soren cut the ropes binding her and looked into her eyes, saying, “I feel you could be of some use to me, and I just happen to need someone like you as an assistant.”
“I don’t particularly care whether you’ll betray me, but you must be clear about the price for betraying me. I wouldn’t want to personally skin such a beautiful woman.”
“I will give you the respect you deserve, but I hope you live up to my respect.”
Soren took a small step back, watching her reaction. The pirate woman’s gorgeous face clearly showed she was momentarily stunned, but she didn’t have any overly intense reactions, instead showing a complex expression as she said, “What do you want?…”
“I want a lot, a lot.”
Soren felt slightly relieved in his heart, but he remained ready for battle, saying in a deep voice, “Your existence holds some value for me, but the value is still too small. I will help you take revenge, help you get rid of the Sea Wolf, and become the greatest pirate leader of Shipwreck Bay. Once you have enough value, I will then tell you what I want.”
“Don’t try to do anything stupid; you should know I did not give it my all from the very beginning.”
“I also hope I won’t regret the decision of sparing you.”
Soren kicked a chair over while leaning against the door, pondered for a moment, and said in a deep voice, “Since you inherited your mother’s name, you should know where your mother and her husband’s territory is, right? Don’t tell me you don’t know this; I refuse to believe your father never entertained the idea of territorial inheritance.”
“Your father killed a noble but has lived for so long, so he probably did it quite neatly, right?”
“All related parties were silenced, right?”
Adele’s expression was complex, seemingly struggling to follow Soren’s train of thought, but still hesitated for a moment before replying, “Yes. My mother and her husband’s territory is in the western county, near the Gray Bear Hills. My father indeed intended for me to inherit the territory; after all, my bloodline might escape the priest’s spell detection. But that territory has already been inherited by someone else; he should be counted as my cousin. My father had the thought of having me replace him to inherit the territory, but he encountered an accident before he started to act.”
Soren nodded and said, “Very good.”
“In you, I see the brilliance of a pirate. I like dealing with people like you because you are not at all pedantic.”
“Congratulations!”
“Your value to me has increased significantly, and perhaps I can help you get what you want. A woman seeking revenge doesn’t necessarily need to become a pirate; with enough wealth, I believe there are many means to attempt to assassinate a target!”
“You also crave an extraordinary life, right?”
Soren moved closer to her, their breaths almost touching, gazing into her pupils, and said slowly, “This is the nature of Amazon women. You possess that innate wildness of Amazonian women!”
Unwilling to be subservient to men.
Amazon women are troublesome; they like to compete with men!
Although the woman before him was beautiful, with an exceptionally alluring face and features of western nobility, such as fair skin and a high nose, she also bore very evident characteristics of Amazon women. Especially in her pupils, there was that hidden wildness; such a woman would never desire a life of marriage and child-rearing, and even a life of luxury would not satisfy her. The innate bloodiness of Amazon women destined them to have a warring gene deep down.
Her ability to reach fourth-tier strength was probably also related to her Amazonian bloodline!
The warlike nature makes Amazon women more likely to become professionists, with a probability higher than that of men from other regions. Although the Amazonian population is not large, the proportion of mid- to low-tier professionists is quite significant. These women can become competent warriors with just a bit of training, and sometimes they can even do better.
Soren seemed to be in deep thought.
After pondering for a moment, he looked at her and said, “I will drop you off near the islands close to the strait and leave you enough food. This fight over the wealth of the Betrayers is not something someone of your strength should participate in; you would just be an additional person heading to d*ath.”
“You can recover there, and I will come back to take you away.”
“Of course.”
“You can also attempt to escape; to me, it would simply mean losing a pawn, but for you, it would mean losing an important opportunity. During this time, you can think carefully about how far you can get on your own without my help. I don’t particularly enjoy forcing women.”
Soren turned and walked out toward the captain’s cabin, leaving the pirate woman with a complex expression on her face.
Yes.
Soren did not care much; not killing her would only mean losing a few thousand killing experiences. Let her go, and there would be plenty of opportunities to reap heads in the future. However, if the other party could truly serve as his assistant, then Soren’s plans would undoubtedly be much easier. There was still so much he wanted, and handling the Saint’s Cataclysm with just his own strength was insufficient; even if he could enter the Legendary Domain, it would still be the same. The woman before him was still very valuable, and he hoped his decision would yield the results he wanted.
If he failed.
Then it wouldn’t be a significant problem, because the core of everything still lay in the Overseas Islands.
