Chapter 131 Soren’s Blade
The silhouette of the red dragon swooped past.
After a round of dragon breath was released, its massive body began to dive down.
The Northern Witches started to aim their spells at the red dragon in the sky, but spells capable of dealing lethal damage were virtually nonexistent. Adult red dragons possess a high spell resistance, making it difficult for spells below the third tier to affect them. Sometimes even the protection of dragon scales cannot be breached. As the most powerful type of dragon among the five-colored dragons, adult red dragons have a caster level of 7-9, meaning they are roughly equivalent to an 8th-level dragon-themed sorcerer. Great dragons learn spells at a slow pace, and in fact, very few dragons are particularly studious, so all their spells are self-taught. A studious dragon is quite terrifying, as such dragons are one in a hundred among their kind, because it means they must interact with humanoid beings.

The strength of an adult red dragon is the highest among all great dragons, with a base strength value of 33, even without any additional bloodline traits.
This strength is enough to push most creatures in the material plane!
Thus, anyone targeted by the dragon wing strike would almost certainly face instant death, suffer severe fractures, or be knocked unconscious.
This held true for the Northern Witches as well.
So when they realized the red dragon was diving down to attack, followed by the immediate dragon wing strike, all the Northern Witches activated their prepared teleportation spells.

The Earth Elemental Elder was sent flying nearly thirty meters away.
As another legendary creature, the Earth Elemental Elder seemed like a child in front of the red dragon, completely overwhelmed in both size and power. The spellcasting ability of the Mind Sorcerers could not compare to these specialized high-level Northern Witches. In fact, no spellcaster could match a professional wizard. However, as these Mind Sorcerers focused on dispelling the energy protective fields of the Northern Witches, the situation on the battlefield began to change gradually. First, one of the Northern Witches’ protective fields was completely broken, and then a Mind Warrior charged right in front of her, swinging the Gisz Silver Blade directly at her.

However, to hit the dragon’s heart, he could only rely on the Dragon Slayer Lance, as the width of the red dragon’s body made it impossible for ordinary weapons to reach the heart’s location.
Before Soren lay the firm crimson dragon scales. As he approached the dragon’s body, this massive creature seemed to sense something; it swung its dragon wings, attempting to swat away any potential enemies. This was something Soren could never have accomplished before!

But now it seemed he had achieved it.
Soren not only accomplished this; when he gripped the curved blade and pierced through the scale gap, he felt the feedback through the blade. He broke through the tough dragon skin and penetrated into the muscle layer of the red dragon, and after piercing through the muscle layer, the curved blade he gripped felt as if it had become his own finger. The sensation from the blade informed him that he was nearing the position of the muscle tendons.
The flesh of living beings is made up of blocks of muscle!
Muscle also possesses formidable defensive qualities, but at each connection point of the muscles, their defensive capabilities are notably weak.
