When the Balroth Fire Demon uttered the blasphemous words, Soren’s mind felt as if it were struck by lightning in an instant. As the name implies, this is a special power of the Evil Faction; the oldest blasphemous words can only be mastered by certain powerful and evil entities that possess divinity. Otherwise, one can only grasp a lower-level ‘blasphemous words’, which is a special class of spell-like ability used by the blasphemous priests of White Horse City. Some priests favored by the deities also possess this ability. However, what they master is ‘True Words’, and if they become the elect or favored of a deity, this ability can be upgraded to ‘Holy Words’.

A glimmer of greed appeared in the Balroth Fire Demon’s eyes.
It suddenly let out a low growl and took a step forward; the thorn piercing its back was suddenly tensed, and then drops of demonic blood slid down the chains. The Balroth Fire Demon let out a cry of pain but did not retreat; instead, it tightened its grip on the Abyss Beheading Sword and stepped forward again. The sound of flesh being torn echoed as the flames engulfing it weakened significantly, its enormous demon wings shackled by chains were torn apart, revealing a grotesque wound on its back.
“Slaughter Divinity!”
A hint of fervor flickered in the Balroth Fire Demon’s pupils as it roared: “Hahaha! I have actually met the descendant of the Son of Slaughter!”
“Mortal!”
“Let’s settle this once and for all!”
