Chapter Seventy-Nine: Alliance
From a tactical standpoint, Soren’s actions were clearly correct because, to him, the Little Dragon beside him, although appearing as a little girl, was ultimately still a powerful giant dragon.
It is well-known that giant dragons are known for their durability and resilience!
Once Soren’s figure disappeared from its original spot, he began searching for a suitable point of attack, and naturally, the best timing would be when the three Elemental Elders launched their assault on the Little Dragon simultaneously. However, he evidently forgot to consider the feelings of the parties involved. The Little Dragon had cursed Soren in her heart countless times and even included greetings like “f*** your mother.” The pressure brought on her by the three Elemental Elders was immense; no matter how strong a dragon’s innate abilities were, she was still just a young dragon on the verge of adulthood.
Moreover, when legendary-level battles formed a numerical advantage, any great strength would be significantly diminished!

Just during the first round of attacks, the Little Dragon’s situation had already turned dire.

The three Elemental Elders directly sealed off her ability to retaliate, covering her with a powerful net of firepower that forced her to panic and use her blink ability to evade.

The little girl retreated hastily, her cute little face showing a frustrated expression, even carrying a hint of a sob.

The first round of attacks finally came to a close. Even with her instant-casting teleportation spells, the Little Dragon had still taken some hits. Just then, Soren’s figure emerged from the twisted shadows, the Legendary Curved Blade Ice Death emitting an unusual silver-white glow, the blade’s temperature had dropped below zero. Accompanied by a flash of cold light, Soren instantaneously entered the battlefield, swinging his blade at the Fire Elemental Elder before him.
Given his previous experience dealing with Balroth the Fire Demon, the Fire Elemental Elder should be the easiest enemy for him to handle!
Scorching flames erupted.
However, to Soren wielding the Curved Blade Ice Death, these flames posed no threat at all.
As another legendary creature, the combat power of the Fire Elemental Elder was several levels below that of Balroth the Fire Demon, and these blazing flames were instantly extinguished by the Curved Blade Ice Death. Simultaneously, the cold properties directly dealt tremendous damage to the Fire Elemental Elder. With just one strike, Soren had inflicted serious wounds on the Fire Elemental Elder, the dark energy of Shadow Assassination combined with the icy energy of the Legendary Curved Blade Ice Death dealt over a hundred points of damage in an instant.

Soren understood that the outcome of legendary-level battles could shift in an instant, so with the Fire Elemental Elder gravely wounded, he unhesitatingly pursued the attack despite the risk of being struck by the Earth Elemental Elder. He swung his blade once more towards the enemy before him.

Soren’s figure was directly sent flying, blood spraying from his mouth mid-air.
The immense force caused his ribcage to cave in, and he crashed against the wall behind, leaving a faint mark. However, the fruits of Soren’s sacrifice for absorbing the blow were magnificent; the Fire Elemental Elder had barely stood for a round before being reduced to a near-death state, the Legendary Curved Blade Ice Death proving unexpectedly effective against it!
“What an opportunity!”
Facing the near-death Fire Elemental Elder, the Little Dragon instantly cast Disintegration, sending a beam of green light that fully dissolved the already severely weakened Fire Elemental Elder.
One down!
Soren coughed as he stood up, swallowing back the blood from his throat.
The Earth Elemental Elder had a natural advantage in strength. After ascending to legend, its power adjustment values were very high, and that last blow had wounded him considerably. However, having already taken down one Elemental Elder, the following battle became significantly easier. They temporarily gained a one-on-one advantage before the Water Elemental Elder came out of the maze spell. The pressure on both of them was greatly reduced!

Soren unhesitatingly entered stealth mode again. For someone with an Anti-Detection Cloak, as long as he was in this state, the Elemental Elder before him would have no way of discovering him, essentially allowing him to avoid being attacked.
He was out of combat again!

This detestable guy wasn’t following the storyline at all!

Soren’s figure moved around the edges of the battle circle, searching for an opportunity to charge in and inflict a heavy blow on the opponent.
The rapidly moving Wind Elemental Elder was not within his considerations; Soren set his sights on the seemingly sluggish but tough-skinned Earth Elemental Elder.

— “Sword Intent: [Decapitation]!”
The icy cold light instantly sliced through the air, directly striking at the Earth Elemental Elder before him.
Soren felt as if he had cut into an incredibly solid marble; the Ice Death blade only sunk in slightly before losing its momentum. However, that did not matter; Soren never expected physical attacks to easily deal with the Earth Elemental Elder. So, the moment he withdrew the Curved Blade Ice Death, he swiftly raised his palm and pressed it against the back of the Earth Elemental Elder.

A line of data appeared:
“Activating spell-like ability—Vampire’s Touch [Divinity]!…”
“Target’s save resistance failed!…Negative energy eroding target’s vitality!…Vitality transferred to your body!…You inflicted 60 points of energy damage on the target!…You regained 60 points of vitality!…”

A special life energy was transferred to Soren.
This energy felt heavy like the earth, devoid of the vibrant life force he had experienced before, yet possessing a dense quality. Under the influence of this energy, Soren’s injuries were rapidly healed, and his condition gradually returned to light injury status.
