It’s been a while since I’ve chatted with you all.
Recently, there’s been a lot going on.
I haven’t had much time to chat with you properly; I wonder if you miss Floating Tower’s ramblings?
I’m very happy.
After this book, a large number of novels with similar themes have emerged, which has successfully brought some good books into the gaming category.
I hope there will be even better similar novels to come.
But I don’t want something like the Night Ranger incident to occur again. Recently, because of the rankings being higher than mine, intentionally or unintentionally, people have been coming here to compare, and many of those comparisons have had a hint of sarcasm. I don’t know if it’s that Floating Tower has a naturally unfavorable reputation, carrying a sarcastic aura. Hahaha.
That’s why I asked for a monthly ticket the other day; 500 votes in two days, which could be seen as a response.
I don’t like comparisons.
Because not long ago, I reached a breakthrough in writing, and the subsequent plot is making me very cautious.
I’m really afraid that if I’m not careful, the story will fall apart.
But I also dislike being slapped in the face, especially in my current vulnerable state; I often feel like I’m being strung up for ridicule. Embarrassing.
I’m very happy to see more outstanding novels of similar themes emerging.
When authors ask if they can use my conceptual framework, general structure, or other elements, I always say yes, as long as they innovate in their own plots. From Total War, to Final Redemption, then to Abyss Master.
But I dislike being compared to others, especially during my emotional lows.
It’s really frustrating, isn’t it?
The stock market has taken a heavy toll, the comic adaptation failed due to funding issues, and there are many other trivial matters. I originally wanted to make some money from stocks; if that didn’t work, I’d invest myself, and in the end, I lost even my principal.
It seems that my luck has been really bad lately…
Floating Tower has always been searching for breakthroughs in writing, and many plots are bold attempts; before writing them, I never know if you will like them, which is why my state may fluctuate.
Recently, I’ve heard about software that can automatically generate writing frameworks and plot outlines.
It makes me, as someone who’s not very skilled, feel like making a living isn’t easy.

Actually, I’m just here to chat a bit.
There’s no targeting of anyone specifically; I just feel that if there’s something unhappy, talking to you will make me feel much better.
With good comes bad.
Back when we wrote Final Redemption, we stood firm in sci-fi, right? But once I shifted genres, Floating Tower couldn’t tell east from west.
Over the years, I’ve seen too many ups and downs.
The road must be walked by oneself; temporary fluctuations don’t mean much. If some people really think they can slap my face with this, I can only say you are too naive.
The plot framework has been laid out, and the updates in July will significantly increase.
All plans have fallen through, and my principal has been handed over to the state.
Whether I like it or not, I have to honestly write now. This could be seen as a good thing, so in July, I want to compete for the monthly ticket.
Not for anything else, but just to prove that “the long spear remains!”
