Chapter 1 Domain [Pirate]

A tranquil day.
Soren sat in the hall, flipping through the intelligence reports handed to him. The situation within the continent was becoming increasingly chaotic, with signs of war spreading further from the southern nations. The long-standing oppression and exploitation by the nobles had already accumulated enough hatred; it would explode like fireworks with just a little provocation. As for who was secretly instigating these troubles, even Soren’s intelligence gathering abilities couldn’t determine, but he could roughly guess that there were activities from demons and some evil god’s followers.
Ironically!
The very churches of the deities that are working hard to maintain order were on the side of the nobles. Even the church of good deities seemed to have no choice but to lend a hand to the corrupt and fallen nobles.
Once order is disrupted, greater chaos will ensue.
“Leaffall City should be able to hold out for a while longer.”
Soren put down the scroll in his hand, lightly tapping his fingers on the table, murmuring: “The half-elves still have some foundation. Even if they’ve lost their priests and gods, there are still druids and wizards to back them up! The elves have rejected their plea for help, and the human kingdom seems to be troubled by the ancient red dragon of White Horse City. There are reports of abyss werewolves appearing; I wonder if they can hold out until the time I need.”
“King of Werewolves Yenogu!”
“Have this guy’s minions already stretched into the Material Plane? Is it planning to gather the [Time Flail]?”

A hint of sarcasm appeared at the corners of Soren’s mouth as he quickly sketched a large, grotesque werewolf wielding a gigantic three-headed flail, wearing golden armor. King of Werewolves Yenogu was one of the abyss lords Soren was quite familiar with. The reason for his familiarity was that he had many werewolf minions and abyss ghouls under his command. To some extent, he was the final boss for adventurers venturing into the abyss. Other abyss lords were variously difficult to deal with, but he had plenty of small minions that could be farmed.
After all, the challenge level of werewolves and ghouls was not high. Even with the added challenge difficulty from the abyss, they still fell within the range that others could handle.
Soren had spent some time on the 422nd layer of the abyss.
“Maybe I should send some people to stand by.”
Soren glanced at the image before him, as if recalling something, then threw the paper aside. He murmured, “The minions of King of Werewolves Yenogu are not strong, but they are still frightening in the Material Plane. It seems I need to prepare some contingency plans.”

Soren stood up and walked outside.
Time had flown by, and nearly half a month had passed. During this time, Soren had arranged many things and collected intelligence from various aspects.
There weren’t many noteworthy events.
Basically, there were a few matters: first, someone saw traces of the ‘Goddess of Cats and Dance’. This [Weak Divine Power] goddess seemed to have fallen to the mortal realm. Soren had encountered her believers before, and they were the ones who mentioned that they almost got ruined by the ‘Lady of the Night,’ falling into the most evil forbidden domain, shifting their alignment to the chaotic evil of the poor goddess. Second, it seemed the ‘God of Travel and Exploration’ had also come down. He was a [Weak Deity], but his whereabouts couldn’t be confirmed. Third, Soren was quite concerned about ‘Lady Silver Moon’; her followers had been very active recently. Intelligence had repeatedly gathered information about the movements of the Silver Moonwalkers.
Other than that, Soren wasn’t worried. However, ‘Lady Silver Moon’ made him uneasy because it was she who had killed the ‘Fear Witch – Lilian’ in the past.
Modo City was always orderly, with everyone busily engaged in their own tasks.
Soren walked towards Modo Harbor. He had recently experienced a breakthrough in some special abilities and needed to explore them further.

Demigod.
Some people believe that demigods are an advancement of legends. In fact, a demigod is a different life form, a fusion of the mortal and the laws.
Legend is the limit of mortals!
If deities strip away all realms, they are merely powerful legends. Profession level 20 is legendary, profession level 40 is also legendary, only differing significantly in strength, with no essential difference in life forms. However, demigods are different; they represent a different life form and a different path. The embryo of all divine professions and the first extension of divine power.
Legend belongs to deities, so legendary wanderers might master [Shadow Domain]. Pirate Domain.

This does not seem to be a combat domain nor a profession-specific domain, as pirate is merely an industry with various professionals within it.
Deities can have many extended domains.

The most typical case is the [Spider Queen] – Ros.
Without the power of domains, it is very difficult to align oneself with a new divine profession. Just like how Soren could not possibly merge the powers of the [Vampire] divine profession, as he was not a vampire himself.
Similarly, if he did not possess half-elf blood, Soren would also be unable to access the information of the [Half-Elf] divine profession.
Racial divine professions actually impose significant restrictions!
However, apart from racial divine professions, merging other divine professions is much easier; many deities rely on domain power as a stepping stone to encroach upon the abilities of other divine professions.
Pirate Domain.
A domain that Soren was uncertain about its usefulness, as he had no intention of establishing a divine profession as a pirate. This profession was entirely controlled by the Ocean Goddess; the sea was her domain, and a pirate without the sea is simply a joke. Moreover, the potential of the pirate divine profession is even smaller than racial divine professions. Soren couldn’t possibly expect to develop pirate activities on a large scale, could he?
Who would produce? Who would create? Who would work?
The industry of piracy holds no potential; while Soren benefitted from the power of pirates, he never intended to make it his core divine profession.
However!
The understanding of the pirate domain still granted Soren significant improvements. Because after mastering the first domain power, he finally advanced to become a true demigod.
This is the [Saint Form].
This is also the first ability extension he obtained after entering the realm of deities, allowing him the opportunity to master other abilities.
For example, one that has now appeared!
Soren’s mind underwent a change in data that was unexpected, but undeniably it was closer to the ability of the divine template, or rather, it began to merge with the power of divinity.

Deities utilize this ability to connect with their believers, and demigods can also rely on this to develop their followers. This ability can cross over most planes directly.”

“Astral Teleportation [Demigod Domain]: Demigods possess the ability to traverse planes. This is a power resulting from the fusion of laws within oneself. Even a warrior with no arcane ability can perform astral teleportation.”

(Note: This ability is a prerequisite for divine domain abilities like [Plane Teleportation], [Plane Traveling], [Free Plane Teleportation], [Free Plane Traveling], etc.)

These are the advanced abilities awakened in Soren due to the demigod domain; however, mastering these abilities requires consuming killing experience and divine power. The killing experience was somewhat manageable, but Soren had no divine power at all.
He had not even reached godhood yet!
Where would he find divine power to master these abilities?
In the end.
There was another rather perverse ability, but it was neither brought by the domain nor was it caused by the divine power.
