Chapter 67: Domain Break Town

There is a special place within the entire Bottomless Abyss, and that is the Domain Break Town located in the Ten Thousand Abyss Plains.
This is the seed of order in the Bottomless Abyss!
It is known that a balance exists throughout the Multiverse, where seeds of order reside in the most chaotic places, and hidden chaos lurks in the most orderly places.
Domain Break Town is such a place.
Its ruler is the powerful Demon Lord, the “Red Shroud,” an incredibly powerful Succubus Sorcerer, said to be the daughter of the Succubus Queen, Mikanxute. Domain Break Town has existed in the Bottomless Abyss for a long time, and even though the bl**d War has erupted for countless years, this town remains impregnable, occasionally besieged by the Devil Legion but quickly reclaimed by the demons.
Domain Break Town.
This town has always served as a gathering point for bl**d War mercenaries, a transit station for travelers mad enough to explore the Bottomless Abyss, and the only place in the Bottomless Abyss with sufficient order for trade. Domain Break Town consists of a series of collapsed towers, where the powerful Succubus Sorcerer, the Red Shroud, has arranged numerous defensive facilities, and the town is surrounded by moats, walls, and spike barriers.
This place represents the most orderly city in the shallow abyss, with administrative institutions and security personnel, where any public disturbance would be met with immediate d*ath.
The town’s moat is fed by the waters of the River of Underworld, capable of making ordinary mortals lose all memory, leaving most injured when touched. For planar travelers wishing to deal with demons, this is relatively safe, as even the most insane demons must suppress their inner madness and exhibit surface restraint. Due to the security here, numerous merchants from other planes flood in to procure various abyssal materials and supplies while selling goods and weapons from other planes. This town takes on a majority of the evil trades in the shallow abyss and brings significant benefits to some powerful entities, with much equipment crafted by Demon Lords also sold here.
The most commonly used currency here is gold gem souls, especially with the highest value attributed to various souls.
Many adventurers and mercenaries from other planes aspiring to participate in the bl**d War are also recruited here, which is one of the assembly points for the first layer of the Demon Legion, with a continuous flow of demon armies gathering and departing.
Throughout the long history of the bl**d War, Domain Break Town has been the most valuable strategic target in the first layer. At the most intense times, it has endured numerous attacks from the Elite Devil Legion, and although the city has changed hands several times, it has ultimately been reclaimed.
For the devils, seizing Domain Break Town is tantamount to capturing the seed of order within the shallow abyss, which would allow for relatively easy establishment of a portal to the Hell of Bartok. Mobilizing sufficient forces alleviates logistical pressures. Additionally, capturing Domain Break Town along with several other key locations in the first layer of the abyss would signify order defeating chaos, potentially allowing the rules of the first layer of the abyss to shift toward the order faction, granting the devils greater advantages.
Planar reversal.
This is the devils’ greatest conspiracy and ambition after hundreds of years!
The Bottomless Abyss is not unchanging. On the contrary, as the core of chaos, it possesses infinite possibilities.
The Hell of Bartok itself expands gradually by devouring territory from the Bottomless Abyss. The battlefront between the Bottomless Abyss and the Hell of Bartok has been merged into the Hell of Bartok, gradually reducing the size of the Bottomless Abyss’s realm. Although this reduction may seem negligible, it has been continuously occurring.
The devils hope to completely occupy the first layer of the Bottomless Abyss. If possible, even the Lord of Hell, Asmothiels, would personally take action!
Because only the Lord of Hell, Asmothiels, can utterly defeat the Wind Demon King, Pazuzu.
Far from Domain Break Town.
There stands a massive Iron Fortress, known as the bl**d War Fortress, once a stronghold built by the Demon Legion. Now, it serves as the front line of the Hell of Bartok.
The entire bl**d War Fortress is filled with countless mysterious and complex magic circles.
bl**d covers all the land, and the air here seems to contain a certain power, warping even the laws of the plane.
The power of the abyss is suppressed!
The chaotic will that envelops the entire Bottomless Abyss is twisted, exiled, and altered here, as the devils inject order’s power into this land.
This is the devils’ most important stronghold!
The bl**d War Fortress serves as a foothold for the occupation of the entire Ten Thousand Abyss Plains. If the Demon Legion can manage to remove important strongholds led by Domain Break Town, they might change the entire plane’s rules.
Dragging the Ten Thousand Abyss Plains into the Hell of Bartok, turning it from “chaos” to “order”!
If successful.
This would be a massive victory, even representing the possibility of “order” finally overcoming “chaos” and potentially ending the endless Abyssal bl**d War, defeating the Bottomless Abyss entirely!
Countless devils are busy within the bl**d War Fortress.
They are preparing for a new battle, one that is more difficult than any they have faced in the past, because their opponent is the Succubus Queen!
This powerful Demon Lord is different from others; the demon legion she commands possesses a certain discipline, and with the immense numbers, it seems challenging for the Demon Legion to gain an advantage.
The Succubus Queen is the most threatening enemy to the devils!
Even if she is not currently in the Ten Thousand Abyss Plains, the existence of the Succubus Sorcerer, the Red Shroud, is a headache for them.
Succubi are shifting toward the order faction.
Numerous signs within the Bottomless Abyss suggest that the Succubus Queen may be leaning toward “Lawful Evil,” especially in a place like Domain Break Town filled with order’s power, which has led many to affirm the Succubus Queen’s transformation!
However.
The Succubus Queen seems unwilling to submit to the Lord of Hell, Asmothiels; any attempts by devils to woo her have earned her ruthless rejection and retaliation. She has demonstrated through repeated battles that she will never integrate into the devils’ will!

Domain Break Town.
The Red Shroud (or referred to as the Red Burial Shroud) is a Succubus Sorcerer who enjoys wearing wedding dresses. No one knows when this Succubus began ruling here; it seems she has governed for countless ages, watching the ups and downs of the bl**d War, possessing the status and power of a Demon Lord, even considered the most powerful Succubus Lord aside from the Succubus Queen. Only a Demon Lord’s power can suppress those demons and maintain the order of Domain Break Town.
The origins of the Red Shroud are enigmatic; she has even been suspected of impersonating certain Demon Lords. However, some believe she is one of the oldest Succubi, and the current biggest speculation is that she is very likely the daughter of the Succubus Queen, Mikanxute.
She is solely responsible for the basic personnel assembly and mobilization of the town and the bl**d War, not getting involved in many other matters, thus having few enemies. Her actions are more rational and closer to those of devils.
Centered around Domain Break Town, dozens of nearby Iron Fortresses are the territories of the Succubus Legion.
The Red Shroud is the supreme ruler of the Succubi, but the actual managers are the other daughters of the Succubus Queen, those powerful Radiant Nuns!
The devils are attempting to change the rules of the plane.
In the Ten Thousand Abyss Plains, due to the bl**d War, the powers of “chaos” and “order” intertwine, attracting the attention of many powerful evil gods, making them realize that the rules of the plane are not entirely impossible to change.
In the Bottomless Abyss.
In the Hell of Bartok.
Many evil gods are trying to transform their divine realms into rules they desire. This change may require the right timing, as it could provoke counterattacks from other Demon Lords or anger the terrifying Lord of Hell, Asmothiels.
Change is hidden within numerous conspiracies.
Seemingly, within the entire Bottomless Abyss and Hell of Bartok, the only ones who dare to boldly enact change are the Succubus Queen, Mikanxute, and the Spider Queen, Rose.
One is gradually shifting toward the “Lawful Evil” faction.
The other is slowly moving from “Chaotic Evil” closer to “Neutral Evil,” seemingly forever plotting conspiracies.
She becomes more rational, yet more dangerous!

No one knows when the change will be completed, but with the bl**d War reaching its current state, many deities have become aware of the potential to reverse the laws of the plane.
