Chapter Sixty-eight: [Fire Demon] – Soren

Soren’s figure reappeared on the city walls.
In an instant, flames flickered across his dark red skin and then transformed into a human-shaped inferno. His figure was strikingly prominent against the pitch-black night, like a torch in the darkness, instantly drawing the gazes of many enemies. Immediately, Soren, who had just made a flashy reappearance, vanished from enemy sight, with several demons quickly rushing toward his location from the chaotic battlefield, seemingly unable to tolerate his attention-grabbing form.
A Furo Demon appeared before him, and the surrounding Coward Demons swarmed in.
The Frenzied Combat Demon let out an angry roar and charged in, tightly wrapping itself around the opponent. Soren then swung his longsword down, seizing the opportunity while the enemy was ensnared by the Frenzied Combat Demon to attack fiercely.
An enemy demon fell.
Soren retracted his weapon and took a breath. After seeing that there were no enemies nearby, he jumped back up onto the city walls.
Flames burned!
Soren, looking quite dashing, transformed again to attract hatred, seemingly radiating a taunt aura, drawing in another group of enemies.
The demons’ intelligence was indeed lacking; no wonder they had been beaten by the devils for so long!
At this moment, Soren felt a bit of twisted fun. It seemed that whenever he activated his Flame Body ability, there were always some fools among the enemies who recklessly tried to come and take him down.

Horrific flames ignited.
The flames on Soren burst forth explosively. Even the Coward Demon he summoned was burned to death, and nearby demons hurriedly retreated to a safe distance. Soren was enveloped in flames, his form undergoing dramatic mutation; his previously thin body gradually became robust, his demon horns noticeably grew larger, and his demon wings on his back also expanded significantly. The most obvious change was his ears, which transformed into a pointed shape resembling that of an elf, along with mysterious demon tattoos appearing all over his body.

Soren had finally mutated into the ranks of Intermediate demons, though his appearance seemed somewhat different from other Fire Demons, probably due to his previous elite template of [Coward Demon].

A strong arm with sharp claws reached out from the flames, and Soren, now taller than an average person, stepped out slowly with fire beneath his feet, leaving behind charred traces on the ground.
A dazzling firelight tore through the air!
Soren immediately swung the Flame Whip and ensnared a Furo Demon, dragging it down from the city wall amid its horrified screams.
The longsword glinted coldly!
Soren held the Flame Whip in one hand and a +1 longsword in the other, rushing toward his target in an instant.
He had finally evolved.
Now, he possessed the ability to take on other Intermediate demons in a one-on-one fight!
Although he had not fully comprehended many of the Fire Demon’s abilities, Soren was confident that as he accumulated more Demon Bloodlines, he could gradually master those abilities and ultimately evolve into a legendary high-level demon—[Flame Demon] form!
