Bottomless Abyss, Third Layer.
Demons living in the Land of Forgotten seem to easily forget certain things, similar to the Blessed Region – Paradise. Any living being with senses in Paradise must endure a will judgement caused by pleasure; otherwise, they risk being trapped by the entire dimension and gradually assimilated by its rules. It is said that any pleasure gained in Paradise is a double crit, so the multiverse is never short of creatures that accidentally enter it and remain trapped.
The Land of Forgotten also has similar rules, but with Soren’s will, he can basically ignore them!
The waters of the River of Underworld flow through this dimension.
The third layer of the Bottomless Abyss serves as an important transit station; it connects many lower abyss dimensions and is the main route to reach the first layer, Ten Thousand Abyss Plains. This layer is a mixed bag, filled not only with various demons but also some creatures from other dimensions, many of whom have already been demonized. Many creatures from the neutral evil faction also live here, with Rosé, Night Witches, and Ghost Hags being the most common lower-level dimension evils.
Order and chaos are in perpetual conflict, but neutral evil thrives!
Soren silently makes his way.
Beside him is the chirpy and lively Construct Girl, who seems to have forgotten what happened this morning, talking to herself along the way and appearing quite cheerful. Although Soren hardly spoke, she seems to be in a good mood today, even refraining from killing ugly demons on sight.
The Construct Girl has a short memory!
Soren isn’t sure how much she remembers; most of the time, she acts entirely on instinct.
Her happiness is fleeting.
But so are her troubles.
………………
A volcano appeared before them. The Bottomless Abyss has many volcanic terrains, perhaps due to being too close to lower dimensional planes. Many demons cultivate their fire resistance talents in this environment.
However, the volcano in front of Soren is not one to approach lightly!
Because it is the Land of Lost.
A tributary of the River of Underworld flows near the volcano. Whether due to geothermal activity or other reasons, the previously stable waters of the River of Underworld slowly evaporate in this vicinity, affecting any creatures that get too close. Those with lighter effects will be poisoned or forget certain things. Those with heavier effects may become lost within it until death.
Even high-level demons rarely approach!
However, Soren would likely be less affected, provided he activates his Fire Body.
This is a connected group of volcanoes.
Approximately one or two hundred years ago, there was a large-scale eruption, and most of what is visible today has been rebuilt. The master here is a newly ascended Demon Lord; the Bottomless Abyss has many Demon Lords, but those whose names are known in other dimensions are mostly powerful beings occupying a certain layer of the dimension.
The Demon Lord of Gurenba Arena is a Demon Goblin Sorcerer, resembling a small landowner from a rural area, with a bit of notoriety in the nearby layers.
Arena.
Soren is very interested in this and has even considered establishing his own arena in the future.
Not only in the Bottomless Abyss, he is also interested in inviting beings from other dimensions to participate in arena duels because if done properly, it could bring him much fame and fortune in the future.
Demon Lords are very powerful.
While they possess chaotic natures, they maintain their own order and rules.
The most basic rule.
Is that they hold absolute authority in their territory, and everyone must at least respect the rules they set.
Near Gurenba Arena.
The biggest rule is the absolute prohibition of private duels; any conflict can be resolved in the arena, where typically only one survivor can emerge triumphant.
—“Miamid – Coin of Disaster! [Mutated Goblin] [Demon Lord] [Challenge Level around 21]!”
A town appeared before Soren.
Demonic buildings are filled with the aura of steel and destruction. There are patrolling demon guards, but more so, there are mutated goblins with deep red skin.
They have already been eroded and assimilated by the powers of the Bottomless Abyss!
Goblins inherently have a relatively chaotic nature. However, their profit-driven disposition has established a certain order and laws here.
Rosé likes to trade with them, and Night Witches occasionally bring goods from other dimensions.
If the chaos point in other regions can reach over 50 points, then the chaos points in Gurenba Arena are only around 10 points.
Fighting must be punished!
The favored punishment of demon goblins is fines; as long as one can pay the fine, they can wait until after the fight to settle up.
And they welcome you to fight again.
However, if you finish fighting and cannot afford the expensive fine, congratulations on your bad luck; you will face a group of well-equipped and coordinated demon goblins.
These dark red-skinned goblins are often denounced by demons as being greedily crafty like a pack of devils!
Profit-driven.
This is the rule of Gurenba Arena, where Coins of Disaster (Gind) are the most sought-after items.
Not many demons dare to brazenly create trouble here because the Demon Lord [Miamid – Coin of Disaster] has allied with an Abyss Dragon, sharing one-third of his wealth each year with this dragon, making it his closest partner and the number one enforcer of Gurenba Arena!
The most striking feature here is the giant circular arena in the center.
Anyone can participate in competitions here, and there is only one rule for the contests—Death Arena!
There are numerous casinos within the town.
Mid to high-level demons occasionally come here to gamble or even personally battle in the arena.
Victors can earn rewards; the chaotic nature of demons makes them very fond of bloody slaughter, so whenever a high-level Death Arena begins, high-level demons always show up and may even attract other Demon Lords.
There are various challenges here!
To entertain the bored demonic spectators, from ghouls and ogres to demon spiders and two-headed wyverns, and sometimes even beings from other dimensions are secretly transported here.
Slaughter Angels are the most popular in the Death Arena!
However, only in rare circumstances can one encounter angels that have been captured and thrown into Gurenba Arena.
Devils sometimes also appear.
Fallen Angels may have a small chance of being transported to the arena, torturing some powerful demons or being tortured by some powerful demons!
Here is Gurenba Arena.
Bottomless Abyss, third layer, Land of Forgotten, the most active, prosperous, and interesting place.
This place is also called—Death Arena!
