Chapter 18: Arena!
On the second day in Gurenba Arena.
When Soren walked out of the Lava Tavern, the atmosphere here was noticeably tense, with many demons leaving in a panic. Occasionally, he could see the merchant caravan of Rosé and Night Witch hastily departing. Inside the tavern, there was a place for gathering information, and after tossing a few disaster coins to a grotesque Ghost Hag, Soren quickly obtained the intel he wanted to learn.
The demons faced another defeat!
The Hell Demon General launched a surprise attack on the rear of the Ten Thousand Abyss Plains in the first layer of the Bottomless Abyss, and elite devils continuously took down several military fortresses of the demons.
What was even more unsettling was that the bl**d War Fortress had been transformed into a place of order by the devils!
At the moment,
Two of the Eight Hell Demon Generals were stationed in the bl**d War Fortress.
Under normal circumstances, when faced with such a situation, many demon lords would be unable to sit still, whether it was the Succubus Queen Mikanxute, King of Werewolves Yenogu, King of Minotaurs Baphomet, the Undead Lord, the King of Flame Demons, or the Sleepless Ones, all these demon lords would likely be sending reinforcements to the front lines, even dispatching their elite main forces to reclaim lost territories. The battles in Gurenba Arena were still ongoing.
This was the third layer of the Bottomless Abyss, and to fight here, they still needed to eliminate the second layer, so the demons were not yet afraid.
It was a gray day.
When Soren stepped onto the land of Gurenba Arena again, the demons in the stands immediately roared with excitement.
“Soren!”
“Soren!”
“Executioner—Soren!”
Two battles.

If Soren advanced to become a Flame Demon, it was highly likely that demons would come to serve him!

Many mortals who signed ordinary contracts with demons ended up in tragic fates, as the demons directly tore up the contracts and eliminated them.
The River of Underworld Oath is one of the oldest contracts!
In the Bottomless Abyss, many subordinates of legendary demons maintained their relationships through the River of Underworld Oath.
Worship the strong.
This is the nature of demons; otherwise, Soren would not have such a visit from a Succubus maid in the middle of the night.
“It seems our Executioner—Soren is quite popular!”
The goblin demon sorcerer grinned as he looked around, then stood on the high platform of the arena. Instantly, his face changed to an excited smile, and he loudly said: “Today will be an extremely wonderful gladiatorial battle!”
“Because today we are holding the Chaos Fight!”
“Later, eight powerful gladiators will appear at the same time; they are all fearsome warriors, and only the last one standing can win!”
Chaos Fight.
Hearing the goblin demon sorcerer’s voice, the demons in the stands shouted fervently; their chaotic nature made them love this battle mode.
A massive free-for-all among gladiators!
No one could predict who the final victor would be.
“Next.”
Seeing that the atmosphere in the arena had been stirred up, the goblin demon sorcerer proudly said: “Let’s welcome our first contestant!”
“The Heartstealer—Longsas!”
With a heavy iron gate rising, a strange creature clothed in a black robe floated out, enveloped in a powerful Spiritual Energy Field, with a hint of demonic aura. Its face resembled a humanoid octopus, complete with four repulsive tentacles, and its skin exhibited a bizarre pale purple, covered in some kind of slime. Heartstealers are hermaphroditic beings, naturally vicious and cruel like Drow and Spider Elves; throughout their long history, they have been known for brutality. When facing their enemies, Heartstealers will rip apart their adversaries’ heads to devour their brains, but that wasn’t all, as they preferred to control their foes’ minds with their mental powers, turning them into their slaves.
Mature Heartstealers are incredibly dangerous!
They are among the most loathsome foes in the Underdark, and this Heartstealer from the Bottomless Abyss is undoubtedly even more terrifying!
Heartstealers possess a natural +8 intelligence bonus, requiring an extremely powerful will to resist them.
Soren’s brow furrowed slightly.
With the appearance of the Heartstealer, the entire arena fell silent, and the demons had mixed expressions of disgust and curiosity; such monsters were not very common in the Bottomless Abyss.
The goblin demon sorcerer was quite pleased with the audience’s reactions. Glancing around, it continued: “Now, let’s welcome our second contestant!”
“From the deeper parts of the Bottomless Abyss, the Eye Demon—Grosdork!”
Rumbling.
The steel gate slowly rose, and a massive Eye Demon floated in mid-air, its menacing single eye gazing at everyone with a bloodthirsty mouth that seemed capable of devouring everything.
The demons erupted into cheers.
Clearly, today’s lineup of contestants exceeded their expectations.
The goblin demon sorcerer appeared quite proud, continuing in an impassioned voice: “Next is our third contestant!”
“Frost Giant—Ugel!”
Rumbling!
The heavy footsteps sounded, and the ground seemed to tremble slightly. A mutated giant over five meters tall slowly walked out, clad in crude armor, wielding a metal wolf-tooth club that weighed over 1000 pounds.
The scene immediately erupted with excitement!
This time, the goblins really went all out, and the gladiators entering the arena were almost all above the near-legendary level.
