Chapter 19: Half-bl**d Dragon Species!

The wisdom of giant species is not inherently high.
The Frost Giant in front of us seems to have been influenced by the chaotic will of the Bottomless Abyss. As it entered the arena wielding a massive wolf-toothed club, it immediately locked its sights on the equally large Eye Demon, charging forward without waiting for the battle to begin. This creature has a remarkably high resilience, and despite being only at the quasi-legendary level, in terms of explosive power, it should be the strongest among all gladiators. Even the Eye Demon might not withstand one or two of its attacks; a Fire Demon like Soren would likely be close to d*ath if hit directly by a single blow.
“Cackle!”
“It seems our Frost Giant, Ugel, is already eager to taste the bl**d of its enemies!”
The goblin demon sorcerer was not surprised by Frost Giant Ugel’s preemptive attack, as the chaotic nature of demons is common. The power of the Bottomless Abyss affects everyone; anyone who remains there is subject to an invisible will judgment, and if they fail, they risk being influenced by the chaotic will of the Abyss. It’s like how any intelligent creature entering Paradise must undergo a pleasure binding judgment daily. Ordinary people entering the Bottomless Abyss are subject to chaotic influence, while those in Paradise might never want to leave.
Only a sufficiently strong will can resist this plane’s characteristics!
Rumbling.
The massive wolf-toothed club missed the Eye Demon, but it created a deep dent in the ground. The Eye Demon has a psionic ability similar to a gravitational field, allowing it to hover and fly just above the ground, dodging the attack from Frost Giant Ugel, and immediately firing a ray.
The Heartthief stood nearby, watching coldly, retreating to a corner.
These Heartthieves are quite cunning and cruel, possessing the ability to control others’ thoughts, which also requires strong will to resist. No one is likely to initiate a fight with it anytime soon.
Soren also began to withdraw.
The Eye Demon and the Frost Giant Ugel are not vastly different in strength; one possesses various innate abilities, while the other boasts a tough, thick-skinned bloodline. For now, they can fight for a while.
“Don’t be hasty!”
The goblin demon sorcerer let out a strange laugh. With a wave of his hand, he opened another gate, saying in a sharp voice, “Next up is the Four-Armed Serpent Demon, Kaken!…”
“It is a prisoner of the Demon Lord Miamid – Coin of Disaster. If it can survive, it may regain its freedom.”
Rumbling.
A heavy iron gate opened with a slight sound of serpentine movement. A four-armed serpent demon, bare-chested with swords in all four hands, appeared, gazing at everyone with murky yellowish eyes. It then advanced towards Soren.
A serpent demon proficient in multiple attacks!
Engaging in battle with four swords simultaneously, it looks like a creature on the verge of advancing to a Six-Armed Serpent Demon.
Its target is Soren.
The goblin demon sorcerer watched the boiling arena, waved his hand to consecutively open several gates, allowing more high-level creatures to emerge, including beasts from outer planar realms and other mid to high-level devils, all enemies with biological levels above 15.
“Next.”
The goblin demon sorcerer took a deep breath and laughed maniacally, “Let’s welcome our final contestant!”
Thud thud thud.
A tremendous rumble echoed as the largest steel gate beneath the goblin demon sorcerer opened. The heavy footsteps momentarily halted Frost Giant Ugel, and the Four-Armed Serpent Demon cautiously moved back from Soren, realizing a greater danger was approaching.
The arena fell into dead silence.
An invisible pressure enveloped everyone; high-level demons looked serious, while mid and low-level demons turned pale with fear.
Dragon Pressure!
A row of data appeared before Soren:
“Influenced by Dragon Pressure!”
“Triggered mandatory will saving throw! … Will saving throw passed! … You resisted the effect of Dragon Pressure!”
Soren’s expression was extremely serious.
Even he did not expect these goblin demons to wield such significant power.
Although the Bottomless Abyss can be said to be teeming with legends, they are dispersed across hundreds of layers of planar space. In reality, the number of legendary beings in a plane is usually limited to those at the top; creatures like dragons fiercely guard the territories around their nests. It seems the rumors about the connection between Demon Lord Miamid – Coin of Disaster and the Abyss Dragon are true; there indeed are many dragons here.
Rumbling!
A huge monster, standing five meters tall and twenty meters long, appeared before everyone.
When it emerged from the dungeon, Soren was momentarily stunned as the creature looked strange. Admittedly, it exhibited the powerful Dragon Pressure, and the head resembles that of a dragon, but its body was rather peculiar. This enormous dragon-like entity had notably robust forelimbs and hind limbs, indicating impressive striking ability. Its size was distinctly different from other dragons, resembling more of a ground serpent.
Most striking were its dragon wings, which were only two meters long, resembling two intrinsically deformed appendages.
Such dragon wings could never support it in flight!
The creature before him appeared to be a kind of naturally deformed hybrid, its scales a dark red hue, features resembling both a red dragon and a black dragon, and evoking the fierceness of the Abyss Dragon.
Its surface temperature was extraordinarily high!
Soren noticed that it left faint char marks on the ground as it walked, and its heavy breathing carried hints of flame, filling the air with a faint sulfurous scent.
And a lava-like scorching aura!
This was a grotesque hybrid dragon possessing bloodlines from both red and black dragons, likely residing near magma, and it could be safely assumed to be immune to fire damage. Its tail was notably strong and powerful; if struck by it, a serious injury could be expected. Based on the flames it could breathe, Soren judged its dragon breath was exceptionally strong, rivaling that of the most powerful red dragons among the five-colored dragons. The biggest flaw of this deformed dragon was its wings; their inherent deformity confined its lifestyle to being akin to a ground serpent.
However!
In terms of ground combat capability, it was probably more powerful than many adult dragons.
Just from the first glance at the enemy, Soren quickly analyzed its weaknesses and killing moves in his mind. Its immunity to fire was undoubtedly the most troubling aspect; he was unsure whether his longsword could pierce its tough dragon scales.
“It seems!”
Soren quietly shifted his steps, reflecting, “This Abyss Dragon in front of me likely possesses the ability to take on three to five opponents at once.”
An adult dragon.
Even mixed bloodlines still display significant innate advantages!
