This special material has been briefly mentioned before; it is a substance that is very small in size but has an extremely high weight.
They are the product of 【Elemental Annihilation】!
【Elemental Annihilation】 and 【Elemental Fission】 are the pinnacle of alchemical technology from the Arcane Empire period. The former can annihilate elements to create various special materials, while the latter can produce massive energy to maintain the operation of the Floating City. Within the entire multiverse, there exist theories of ‘infinite size’ and ‘infinite smallness.’ Infinite size refers to the vastness of the multiverse, where there are many spaces in the boundless astral void that even deities do not know about. Even outside the crystal wall interfaces, there are still many mysteries beyond the knowledge of even the gods.
Thus, even deities maintain awe towards the brilliant endless galaxies above!
The second theory of infinite smallness is difficult to explain using alchemical knowledge; the easiest way to explain it is to extend scientific knowledge from the past life. Planets, human bodies, cells, molecules, atoms, protons, electrons, neutrons, etc., reveal that all things in the world contain immense gaps. These gaps may seem negligible to humans; even with a microscope, one can barely observe them, but in reality, these gaps truly exist. Elemental Annihilation is a terrifying elemental collapse reaction where the minuscule particles within matter, like molecules, atoms, and protons, are compressed and collapsed by energy, ultimately resulting in a violent annihilation effect, giving birth to certain materials that are extremely small in volume but have high hardness and weight. If this material is used to make weapons, its power would be nearly unstoppable. Historically, there have been several such weapons, almost all possessing terrifying penetrating capabilities.
Even the bodies of deities may not be able to withstand it!
In terms of item rank, the ‘Demon Stone’ in Soren’s hand is not considered a very high-level elemental annihilation material. The top-tier elemental annihilation materials are only the size of a fingernail, yet their weight can exceed 1,000 kilograms.
White dwarfs and neutron stars are similar to elemental annihilation materials.

If a person weighing 70 kilograms were to encounter a neutron star, the energy of their impact on the surface would be equivalent to two hundred million tons of nuclear explosion power (four times that of the world’s most massive nuclear bomb, the Tsar Bomba). Of course, this is merely a hypothetical situation; if it were to happen, that person would be torn apart by powerful tidal forces as they approached the neutron star.

Now, let’s focus on 【Elemental Collapse】, which can form diamonds and is considered the fundamental foundation of top-tier alchemical technology. Beyond that lies 【Elemental Annihilation】, directly altering the very structure of elements. To use interstellar terminology, it involves twisting the periodic table of elements at the proton and electron levels, transforming one element into another.
The Demon Stone is such a product.
It is a new elemental structure; aside from the top-tier alchemical masters who can artificially create it, this substance can only be born at the very edge of every plane, in places close to elemental voids.
Only in such places can natural occurrences of elemental annihilation take place!
These locations are inherently quite dangerous, making materials like the ‘Demon Stone’ extremely rare. If it could be forged into a weapon, its power would be difficult to estimate with reason.

A flesh-and-bl**d body would find it hard to approach this material while energy bodies would easily be interfered with or affected by the radiative forces.

Only during the Arcane Empire period was large-scale research and utilization of 【Elemental Annihilation】 conducted, leading to many taboo weapons that even the gods dreaded, products of 【Elemental Annihilation】 and 【Elemental Fission】.
