Chapter 34: Harvest! First Update

A night quickly passed.
The once prosperous Gurenba Arena has begun to deteriorate in just one day. The outside is littered with the corpses of demons; their chaotic nature, long suppressed, has erupted now that the Demon Lord’s intimidation is gone. Many high-level demons, emboldened by their ambitions, have led to further chaos. Perhaps it was to seize the collected wealth of the goblins, perhaps to plunder the evil spirits that deceived them, or simply for the purpose of venting their frustrations—the final result is that thousands of demon corpses now lie on the ground.
The Lava Tavern is the only place left unscathed.
It has now become Soren’s stronghold, and the demons who have sworn allegiance to him have begun to maintain order here, though they are not very willing to do so.
Soren doesn’t care about the thoughts of these demons.
As long as an oath is made in the name of the River of Underworld, it carries a certain binding force. The power of the River of Underworld is difficult to estimate by common sense since it involves the realm of souls, and many deities cannot escape this binding.
