When summarized, its content essentially conveys one message: Princess Anna has handed the choice to Soren. If Soren agrees to her marrying the Second Prince of the Hawk Kingdom, then she will truly marry him. However, if Soren disagrees, then Princess Anna absolutely will not marry him.
All the power of choice rests in Soren’s hands; Princess Anna asserts that whatever he says goes.
What a joke!
How could Soren possibly agree to Princess Anna marrying that d*mn Second Prince of the Hawk Kingdom?
All along, Soren’s feelings for Princess Anna have been complicated—sometimes it feels like romantic love, but at other times it feels like he treats her like a younger sister. The Grand Princess feels like another version of himself, and how he interacts with Princess Anna often mirrors how he treats Vivian. Soren sometimes finds himself unsure of how to handle his relationship with Princess Anna. However, one thing is for sure: Princess Anna is absolutely one of the few people he genuinely cares about.
She ranks just below Vivian and Gloria, even above the Fallen Witch!

When the Maid Captain who brought the letter asked Soren for his stance, he replied without hesitation and with exceptional firmness: “No!”
“Absolutely not!”
Princess Anna cannot marry that d*mn Second Prince of the Hawk Kingdom.
Even though Soren is unsure of his precise feelings for Princess Anna, he is now very certain that she absolutely, absolutely cannot marry that d*mn Second Prince. In fact, a strange surge of anger arose within him, a terrifying impulse to directly lead an army to destroy the Hawk Kingdom!
He is exceptionally resolute.
Soren still doesn’t know how he should face Princess Anna, but he knows that his stance on the matter is exceptionally firm and unequivocal.
And knowing that is enough!
You might not know what you want, but you know what you don’t want.
Soren suddenly seems to understand something. Then a bitter smile appears at the corner of his mouth as he murmurs, “What a sly little fox!”
Princess Anna is forcing him to state his position.

She would convey Soren’s decision to Princess Anna.
But this decision was limited to his attitude on the matter—Princess Anna did not demand too much.

For her, simply knowing Soren’s attitude was sufficient.

Had it not been for Soren’s prior arrangements and the eyes he placed throughout various locations, and the subsequent intelligence provided by the intelligence organization in Modo, along with Adele Isabella and the Half-Elf First Mate personally cleaning up after the little girl, Vivian probably would have been hunted by the nobility and the church; even if not, it would have stirred up quite a storm.
