Of course, this is a nickname used by adventurers; the full name of the profession should be “Divine Fighter,” a high-level profession that can utilize divine power and divine blessings. Divine power is essentially the divine strength possessed by deities. If Soren intended to create a new advanced profession, it wouldn’t be impossible with his current power. The cost of creating such special professions is quite high. For example, the “Divine Fighter” evolved from the monk uses the divine power of the God of Suffering in battle. This kind of advanced profession can only be cultivated by deities with abundant divine power or wide-ranging believers, just like the God of Suffering has many followers, but rarely engages in battle himself.

Fortunately, the priest is also considered a melee professionist; otherwise, this would have nearly killed him.
Many of the injuries on these individuals were incurred while blocking attacks for civilians.
If it were Soren dealing with the enemy, he certainly wouldn’t do this, but everyone in this world has their own perspective. Just because he wouldn’t act this way doesn’t mean he disrespects those who do; it’s similar to how he views those holy fighters.

There will be very few who survive. The lawful good faction always drags itself into the mire, which is why there are so few of them in this world.

Soren thought for a moment but decided to step in. However, he would wait until the situation became more dire because he believes that to tackle the God of the Hunt—Mara, he might need to rely on the power of the God of Suffering.
Even if it’s just to let His church strike at the Church of the Hunt, it can reduce the difficulty of Soren’s sniping target.

The subsequent battle became much simpler.
With Soren providing long-range support, the number of burrowing worms gradually decreased, and they quickly retreated under pressure.

Soren’s figure jumped down from the tree trunk. He now appeared as a silent, high-level hunter. Glancing at the others, he began collecting the loot on the ground, valuable items from the burrowing worms.
Pursuing wealth.
This is also one of the predetermined personas and is key to easily aligning with the Church of the Hunt.
Because a person who craves wealth would go to great lengths to please the evil God of the Hunt for the sake of wealth, even assisting in the Church of Hunt’s gigantic malicious sacrificial rituals for wealth and power.

The survivors came forward to express their gratitude, perhaps fearing Soren’s strength; they didn’t come too close.
Soren coldly glanced at them and slowly said, “Soros.”

But by what they said, Soren guessed the general circumstances.

They should be protecting these individuals to reach a safe place.
If they hadn’t met Soren, these people might have suffered.

However, sometimes without external assistance, their excessive pursuit of justice and goodness would often worsen matters.

Sometimes they prefer to sacrifice themselves but fail to consider that the situation afterward for others could become even more tragic. These individuals who hold faith above life tend to make well-meaning mistakes, rendering situations irretrievable. Perhaps it is their overly firm beliefs that lead them to carry out many unimaginable things.
They are noble, great, and glorious, but in Soren’s view, they also lack intelligence.
