Chapter 18: The Flying Requiem!
Molo City is undergoing rapid changes.
However, after Lord Soren finalized the plan for the third expansion, he began to busy himself with his own matters. “It’s over on the alchemical platform; I will help you install it later.”
Soren nodded and waited quietly.
An hour passed in the blink of an eye. After the Fallen Witch finished her task, she waved to retrieve a fairly large silver metal ring from the alchemical platform, then turned to Soren and asked, “Where is it?”
“Did you bring the schematic drawn by Gloria?”
Soren took out a piece of paper that depicted a warship, with many complex notations at the bottom of the cabin and sail, along with spell models that were quite dizzying to look at.
“Hmm?”
“Very nice design! This should work!”
The Fallen Witch’s figure floated upwards, softly saying, “Let’s go now. We should be able to finish it by tonight.”
A beam of light from a teleportation spell brightened the space.
The figures of Soren and the Fallen Witch appeared on the surface of the sea near Molo City. When the Fallen Witch nodded to Soren to indicate they could begin, the water beneath their feet gradually parted, and a black mast rose from the seabed, followed by the Ghost Ship—The Requiem—breaking through the waves, accompanied by a spreading mist. This long-silent legendary ghost ship re-emerged into the world.

The Fallen Witch flashed her figure directly onto the deck of The Requiem. She first curiously examined this legendary ghost ship, then waved her hand to produce a fairly large silver metal ring.

“The schematic for the sails enchanted by Gloria has limited effectiveness.”
“The ghost ship itself needs a source of self-propulsion; if you want to control its movement freely, you will probably need to inscribe a huge magic circle inside the ship.”
“This requires a considerable investment of time and effort.”
The floating ring only neutralizes the ghost ship’s gravitational influence; other aspects of control require additional alchemical support.
