Chapter Twenty-Four: Eastern Kingdom!
True God has fallen.
The domains held by deities can be partially absorbed by enemies with ease, but the divine professions held by deities cannot be easily merged. This is because divine professions are tagged; Soren is the God of Wanderers for Half-Elves, while Ayrevin Ilashir is the God of Thieves for Elves. If Soren were to k*ll Ayrevin Ilashir, he could absorb the [Thief] divine profession and strengthen his own divine capabilities, but it would be challenging to expand the divine domain into the realm of Elves.
This must take into account the attitudes of the Elven gods towards him, which is also why many divine professions are scattered across various races.
However, Ayrevin Ilashir has now been killed.
The [Thief] divine profession is currently in a state of limbo; any deity holding relevant divine domains can compete for this divine power, whether it be the Lord of Shadows or Soren. As long as they find a suitable point of alignment, they can attempt to merge this divine power.

Is it worth getting involved in a war between the Spider Queen and the Elven pantheon just for a mergeable divine profession?
Soren fell into deep thought, momentarily unsure of what to decide.
In terms of strength, Ayrevin Ilashir (the God of Elven Agility and Thieves) should be slightly more powerful than Soren, as his divine profession carries the formidable trait of [Agility]. He died in such an unclear manner, and Soren is truly hesitant about whether he is capable of participating in an event of this magnitude. Furthermore, the Elven pantheon is bound to retaliate furiously. When a main member of a pantheon is killed, no main deity of any pantheon can remain indifferent!
“Forget it!”
“Let’s observe for now.”
Countless thoughts flashed through Soren’s mind, but in the end, he chose to give up, muttering, “For the time being, no one should be able to merge the [Thief] divine profession.”
“The Elven pantheon must be burning with rage right now; it’s best not to touch this bad luck.”

In this early phase of the Saint’s Cataclysm, being too exposed is not a good thing, as one could easily become a target for other deities.
The competition for the God of Thieves is also very fierce.

Due to the outbreak of the Saint’s Cataclysm, chaotic energy has begun to affect the Material Plane. The d*ath Desert, which used to only experience sandstorms, has now turned hostile. As Soren just entered the area of the d*ath Desert, he sensed the abnormal climate, followed by an enormous tornado gradually approaching from the distance. No wonder there are hardly any merchant caravans traveling to the Eastern Kingdom; such a harsh environment makes trade nearly impossible, and this trade route is likely completely cut off.
Raging power.
As the core zone of the fallen Arcane Empire, the d*ath Desert remains shrouded in a wild magical force.
Here, there are [Dead Magic Zones] and [Magical Chaos Zones]; even as a deity, Soren feels that casting spells here significantly hinders his performance, requiring sufficient concentration to succeed. The weaker radiation still affects this area, with the surface radiation being relatively weak, but powerful radiation sources remain deep underground. This kind of radiation source is similar to that near Treasure Island because a floating city also fell into the deep sea over there.
Currently, no ships dare to pass, as there are too many deep-sea behemoths in those waters.
Radiation is a kind of energy.
Strong radiation has created some terrifying mutated creatures but has also confined them to their locations.
d*ath Bell Beetles have remained there for thousands of years due to the radiation of underground ruins, and deep-sea behemoths won’t easily leave; if they depart from the source of radiation, their power will gradually diminish. The d*ath Desert is home to many extremely dangerous creatures, but as long as one doesn’t provoke them actively, there shouldn’t be any significant problems because they almost never leave the confines of the d*ath Desert. Where there is an oasis, there is a town.
In the Eastern Kingdom, any oasis is a highly valuable resource because there are only a handful of relatively fertile lands throughout the entire Eastern Kingdom.
In the town, Soren saw some oddly dressed professionists.
Eastern Dance Maidens, Ronin, Puppeteers, and Sorcerers dressed in special robes—this is the terminology in the Eastern Kingdom; they are actually just advanced professions of Sorcerers.
Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire.
Due to the chaotic magical energies, traditional Wizards are seldom seen in the Eastern Kingdom, so most spellcasters are of Sorcerer bloodlines, with the Sorcerers being an advanced branch that focuses more on elemental powers of energy.
This is a vastly different world.
Whether in terms of clothing, food, shelter, culture, religion, or various professionists, there are enormous differences compared to the southern continent!
After such a long time, Soren finally arrived at the Eastern Kingdom.
