Chapter One: It Snowed…

In the Frozen Kingdom, Arendelle.
As the time approached February, spring in the Frozen Kingdom was also about to arrive. The accumulated snow on the roads had started to melt, and with the rising temperatures, the floating ice was becoming fewer. People began to appear in the fields, busy with their work. Due to the geographical conditions, the crops in the Frozen Kingdom were seasonal, with sowing starting in February and March, and harvesting in July and August. The remaining months of the year were used to plant other things. The Arendelle royal family had maintained their reign over this land for a long time, and if not for the impact of the Saint’s Cataclysm, this tradition would likely have lasted much longer.

The weather was probably quite nice, but weather could change as quickly as a woman’s mood.

With only about four or five days left until February, Arendelle seemed unchanged, but suddenly in the afternoon, a voice of astonishment came from the market square, followed by many people looking up towards the top of the palace’s tower. A small girl’s voice suddenly echoed at the market square, cheerfully proclaiming, “It snowed!”
Flakes of snow began to fall from the sky.
At this time, the weather in the Frozen Kingdom had already warmed up, and unexpectedly, just before spring, it began to snow. Judging by the scale of the snowfall, it seemed this would be quite a big snowstorm.
“It snowed!”
“It really snowed!”
The residents of Arendelle were already accustomed to winter and did not feel surprised by the arrival of such heavy snow. They just pushed back their originally planned work by a few days.
Everything seemed to be normal!

At the first stop to the Overseas Islands, Taro Port, Soren’s figure had appeared alongside a girl draped in a large cloak at the harbor.
The girl’s face was covered halfway, revealing only her fair and beautiful chin. She held a thick book under her arm, and perched on her shoulder was a lifelike Puppet Girl. Similar to the girl before her, the exquisite Puppet Girl also looked around Taro Port with curious eyes, occasionally moving under the hood of the cloak. Then, a small head would pop out to take a look, only to shrink back as ordered by the serious head maid.
“Is this the southern sea area?”
Alice exclaimed in surprise, observing the bustling port, and whispered, “It really is much more prosperous than the Eastern Kingdom!”
The girl did not allow all her Puppets to come out.
Perched on her shoulder was Claris, who seemed to always receive more indulgence and favor. Although the head maid was Lilith, Soren had recently learned that Claris was actually Alice’s first Puppet Girl. However, even Alice did not expect that her first creation turned out to be a comedic character.
Since then, Claris has always been the most special among the Puppet Girls!
Taro Port indeed thrived much more than before.
But compared to Modo Harbor, it still had quite a gap. Soren just smiled slightly at her words; he did not compare the two. Anyway, once Alice reached Modo City, she would naturally feel the difference there. Soren had great confidence in the city he had devoted countless efforts to build. Although Modo City had been established for a short time, it was already comparable to cities that had been founded for hundreds of years, due to the massive injection of resources, and its vibrant atmosphere could not be matched by any other place.

“It snowed! Come out and see!”

Claris, perched on Alice’s shoulder, looked around. Suddenly, she looked up at the sky and flew into the air, playfully circling around Soren and Alice, excitedly exclaiming, “It snowed! It snowed!…”
“Lilith, hurry up and come out!…”
The climate in the Eastern Kingdom was similar to subtropical regions, and severe desertification meant that in many places, it could go decades without seeing another snowfall.
Alice also appeared to be in a good mood.
The girl took off the hood of her cloak and opened her fair palm to catch the falling snowflakes. The Puppet Girls, all dressed in maid outfits, flew out joyfully, dancing in the snow like flower spirits. Even the usually strict maid Lilith spread her hands to catch the snowflakes, looking quite human-like as she gazed towards the distant sea.
“Is this the ocean?…”
These Puppet Girls each had their own personalities, and Soren felt that they possessed independent thoughts.

At this moment, Soren’s attention was not on them. Upon realizing that good weather had suddenly turned to snow, he extended his consciousness towards the sky and soon noticed a wave of divine power originating from the far north.

This surge of power came from the Princess. Soren remembered the unique energy signature of the Princess vividly.

Gloria stepped out from the laboratory. She looked up at the sky in confusion and mumbled, “It snowed?”
“Why did it suddenly snow?”

In the City of Wizards.
Atop the towering high tower, an elder with a long, snow-white beard stepped out. He reached out to catch the falling snowflakes, then stood at the astrological platform, murmuring, “What a surprisingly unexpected snowfall!…”

Eastern Kingdom.
In a magnificent palace built lavishly, a gorgeous Enchantress, lazily lounging on a pure golden throne, suddenly stood up. Draped in an exquisitely beautiful silk gown, she appeared somewhat like an Eastern Dance Maiden. This stunning beauty, with an enchanting appearance, barefooted, stepped into the air in the blink of an eye, looked up at the sky, and spread her fair hands to catch the snowflakes drifting down, frowning slightly, “Goddess of Snow and Ice?…”
“Did even the Eastern Kingdom get affected?”

It was a very calm day.
Nothing earth-shattering happened, but on this day, the entire Material Plane experienced a snowfall.
Pure white snow.
