In the Frozen Kingdom, Arendelle, at the Royal Palace.
Although the column of light that rose into the sky lasted only a short time, it still attracted the attention of many people.
Princess Anna, who had already begun handling Arendelle’s affairs in the main hall of the palace, soon noticed something unusual. She realized that the light beam had come from the tower where her sister was staying, so she quickly put down the document in her hand and walked towards the tower with some concern. As the range of the Saint’s Cataclysm grew larger, even ordinary people began to sense that something was amiss. Now Princess Anna understood a bit why Soren was worried about the future.
Perhaps her beloved man had long foreseen the coming of the Saint’s Cataclysm.
Since the moment the demon appeared, Princess Anna had officially taken over the affairs of Arendelle, and most of the government matters were handled by her. The princess had entered seclusion after assisting Soren in killing the God of the Hunt, Mara, and after the demon’s appearance, she entrusted most of the duties to her sister, fully immersing herself in mastering her powers. She had foreseen some things; the Frozen Kingdom was facing a tremendous challenge, and this challenge required her to have enough strength to confront it.
“Sister!?”
Princess Anna arrived outside the tower door, gently knocked on the door, and then withdrew her finger in surprise. The door was extremely cold to the touch, and through the crack, she could even see the frozen ice.
At that moment.
Inside the tower room, everything had frozen into ice. The silhouette of the princess stood in the very center; as if she had heard the sound from outside, she slowly opened her eyes and said, “Is it Anna? I’m fine.”
“I’ll be out in a moment!”
The princess waved her hand gently, and the ice in the room dissipated with the wind. This was caused by the divine power she emanated.
After a moment.
The princess slowly opened the door, smiling, and said, “It’s all good now.”
“It was just a small issue.”
“It has been resolved now, and such problems should not occur again in the future.”
Upon hearing this, Princess Anna felt much more relaxed. However, she still looked somewhat worried; she reached out and embraced her sister gently, whispering, “What happened?”
The princess did not answer but tenderly stroked Princess Anna’s forehead, gently shaking her head and saying, “It’s all right.”
“Shall we go for a walk?”
For some reason.
At this moment, the princess felt much more approachable, no longer giving off the sense of distance and rejection that she previously did.
Ever since the princess mysteriously disappeared and returned, Princess Anna had felt that her sister had become much harder to reach, even to the point of sensing an inexplicable sense of crisis. Although she firmly believed that her sister would never harm her, that feeling was always difficult to shake off. Now, the princess no longer carried that sensation; everything seemed to have returned to normal, her sister was still the sister she had always known.
Warm, peaceful, and gentle aura.
At this moment, the princess felt slightly relieved. After paying a certain price, she had finally resolved the crisis within her.
Since her mysterious disappearance and return last time.
The power within her had become increasingly strong, to the point where she was almost losing control.
In simple terms.
The divine power value she possessed had already surpassed the limits she could manage; to put it in another way, the divinity she had could not accommodate that much divine power.
Soren was struggling to keep up with the rate at which his divine power was being absorbed by his divinity.
The princess, on the other hand, had her divine power values exceeding the limits of her divinity capacity, thus sometimes losing control of her power. With her divinity value, she could manage only two to three hundred points of divine power, yet her actual divine power had exceeded two or three times that. If it weren’t for her profession level being over thirty and being a strong divine sorcerer, the princess’s power might have already encountered issues. However, after defeating the God of the Hunt, Mara, the princess had gained a supplement of divine power, and after completing the fusion, her divinity capacity had also increased.
But it was still not enough.
After completely erasing the residual consciousness of her divinity, the princess chose a more direct method to balance the divine power within her.
That was to release the excess power.
The recently risen column of light was the result of the princess’s excess divine power. If this divine power had erupted directly, it could have frozen all of Arendelle.
With the princess’s abilities, achieving “freezing a thousand miles” was indeed not an exaggeration!
The royal family of Arendelle had always been regarded as descendants of the Ice Goddess. They often awakened powerful powers across generations, and the princess was among the best, inheriting powers that were top-tier in the Material Plane.
To avoid a catastrophic disaster caused by rampant divine power in Arendelle.
After completing a certain degree of divine fusion, the princess decided to first release the excess divine power. She raised her divine power to the sky, turning it into a vast snowfall.
This way, it avoided her released divine power from directly freezing Arendelle.
It also resolved her issue of having too much divine power and being unable to control it; sometimes power is not better in excess. Only the power that falls within one’s control can exert the maximum combat power.
Moreover!
This divine power did not belong to the princess herself but was the ice and snow divine power brought by a fortunate encounter.
The ice in the room was the result of the power dissipating.
The princess had always been very careful in controlling her power, fearing that she might accidentally freeze the palace. Now, she had finally released the excess divine power; although she felt quite fatigued, her expression showed ease.
Now her combat power had not decreased but rather increased.
Her application of power was beginning to step into the realm of divinity; if she wished to become a deity, she could probably directly ascend to the level of “Weak Divine Power.”
However, the princess’s ambition was certainly not limited to that!
She did not intend to become a deity with “Weak Divine Power”; it was not easy to blindly ascend after becoming a deity. Soren was an exception. She needed to accumulate enough power and then ascend to become a deity above “Weak Divine Power,” or even directly achieve “Medium Divine Power.”
Although the divine power released by the princess had temporarily affected the climate of the Material Plane.
It had not caused direct destruction, which was undoubtedly the best outcome, and what she needed to do next was to continue enhancing her divine power.
This was quite similar to Soren.
The divine value inherited by the princess was remarkably impressive; however, her divinity value fell far short of her power requirements.
Nevertheless.
The princess had a more obvious advantage than Soren; she had a clearly defined enemy, the “Winter Maiden,” whose divinity value and divine value were very compatible and could be fully absorbed.
As long as she defeated the Winter Maiden, the princess could reach the level of “Weak Divine Power” at any time!
