The howling wind echoed.
Accompanied by a violent trembling sound, the already crumbling wall collapsed with a loud crash, and a tall mutated Lizardman appeared before everyone, while a petite figure danced around it. This small figure was so agile that only a blur could be seen during her movements, but when she launched her attack, faint sounds similar to a cat could still be heard.
“Lulu (露露喵), stop playing.”
The High Priest stood calmly not far away, took a glance, and slowly said, “Deal with this guy, and then we will continue searching for the entrance to the Magic Suppression Prison.”
Meow.
The petite figure landed, nodded, and in the next moment, three cold light flashes appeared.
A terrifying wound immediately emerged on the chest of the mutated Lizardman, and then it crashed to the ground, revealing that a sharp blade had pierced its heart.
“Lulu’s strength is improving rapidly.”
A girl dressed in a pure white priest robe with a pretty face walked out. She affectionately patted Lulu’s head and gently pinched her furry ears, chuckling, “So cute!”
Lulu seemed not to like having her ears pinched; she quickly hid behind the High Priest, peeking out to glance at her and said softly, “Milan (米兰) Sister’s progress is what’s truly frightening! She can already cast legendary divine techniques!”
As Lulu grew older, she gradually began to show more characteristics of a Beastman, and she also had another battle form. When transformed into a Beastman, she develops a pair of sharp tiger teeth. As a feline Beastman, Lulu’s combat talent is very similar to that of felines, making combat almost one of her instincts. Lulu received training from the Drow in assassin-like skills, combined with the talents of a feline, making her almost unstoppable.
“She is a Holy Spirit Priest; she’s not the same as ordinary mortals.”
The High Priest glanced at Milan, who seemed noticeably more restrained in the face of the High Priest’s calm gaze. The High Priest then slowly said, “Although this time the purpose is to explore Pirate Island, training your abilities so you can enter the Legendary Domain sooner is also part of the mission.”
“Don’t be careless!”
“According to my perception, there should be quite a few dangerous creatures nearby.”
There aren’t many dangerous creatures on Pirate Island.
After entering the island, the High Priest dispersed the team. Because the island is too large, they needed to spread out to gather information more quickly. Lulu and Milan formed one team, while Chouhou (丑猴) and the Giant formed another. Thanks to the High Priest’s Spiritual Energy Field, they didn’t need to worry about communication issues; if anything unexpected happened, the other team could quickly arrive for support. As the top Mind Sorcerer, the High Priest’s abilities are even more useful than the technology of the interstellar era.
“High Priest!”
“We found a group of Sharkmen!”
At that moment, Chouhou’s voice echoed in the Spiritual Energy Field, seemingly excited as he said, “We discovered a passage near the northern coast of the island.”
“But the path has already sunk!”
“I suspect that the entrance to the Magic Suppression Prison is nearby.”
Magic Suppression Prison.
This was the most important goal of their journey. For Soren (索伦), the wealth of Pirate Island was not important; Modo had plenty of means to make money, but the alchemical technology inside the Magic Suppression Prison was crucial, especially for the utilization and development of Maze (迷锁).
“Do not enter!”
“The Magic Suppression Prison is definitely more dangerous than you imagine! Stay put and wait for us to come!”
Upon hearing this, the High Priest’s spirit jolted, and she immediately said, “I’ve located your coordinates; I will arrive in about fifteen minutes. Be cautious of those Sharkmen; do not disturb them lightly.”
This island had already been occupied by mutated creatures.
The majority of what they currently saw consisted of oceanic species and amphibious creatures. Due to intense energy radiation, the strength of the monsters here was quite formidable.
It was generally hard to find creatures below high-tier levels.
However, due to the intense energy radiation, the intelligence of these creatures had become somewhat chaotic. They behaved like frenzied, bloodthirsty primal beings, with certain traits resembling demons.
They were filled with aggression!
This was reminiscent of the indigenous people, as due to energy radiation, the natives of the Overseas Islands had a nature that was relatively irritable and furious compared to other races; they were very aggressive and violent.
High-intensity energy radiation could cause problems for creatures.
This was also reflected in Elemental Life, as in the Amazon Tropical Jungle, a batch of “Raging Wind Elementals” emerged due to the divine power emitted by the Lord of Storms.
Currently, the Amazon Female Warriors were quite troubled by these wind elementals.
The High Priest and her party hurriedly made their way. When they arrived, the Drow Guard Squad had also already followed. Before them was a group of imposing Sharkmen, who were different from other Sharkmen; these had red eyes and were lurking near the coast, revealing an underwater building complex, which served as their nest. Inside the nest was a passage that led directly to a fissure beneath the sea, but it was still uncertain whether this was the entrance to the Magic Suppression Prison.
During the Great Catastrophe, severe earthquakes had occurred here.
The Arcane Empire’s influence extended beyond the realm of souls; even the magnetic fields within the planes were within the scope of their research. During the Great Catastrophe, chain-like collapses directly caused a disruption in the energy magnetic fields, leading to numerous earthquakes in the entire Material Plane, some of which caused small land masses to split and then sink into the ocean.
The Magic Suppression Prison was currently invisible on land, and it was highly likely that it had sunk beneath the sea due to the earthquakes.
“Should we just k*ll them all?”
The Giant’s deep voice rang out, sounding somewhat eager.
The High Priest gently shook her head and said slowly, “No need to k*ll them all; leave the priests inside to me for interrogation; there should be some useful information.”
Hearing the High Priest’s words, the Giant grinned and licked his lips, then moved forward, dragging a huge, heavy anchor.
After this period of fighting.
The group had begun to gel quite well.
The Giant was a very qualified tank; not only was his skin tough and his body large, but he was also top-notch at drawing aggro. Although they didn’t have a legendary Wizard stationed, due to the presence of the 30th-level Mind Sorcerer, in real combat they might be even stronger than other legendary teams. This was because the High Priest’s Spiritual Energy Field was already a domain-level power, allowing for instant communication without any delay even during battles.
Unless someone’s ability was stronger than hers and could interfere with or break down the Spiritual Energy Field, otherwise, in battles of the same level, they were nearly unbeatable in terms of coordination!
