A strange laughter echoed as the Vampire Son, after enduring a round of attacks from Soren, appeared completely unharmed. His body was continuously repairing itself at an astonishing speed, seemingly gathering the powers of the Demon Son of Fear that had previously attacked him. In many ways, he was even stronger now than when he was alive.
No, no, no!
The true Vampire Son is already dead.
His soul was ultimately captured and taken away by the Hell Poet, so the Vampire Son before him could be regarded as the avatar of the Demon God of Fear.
—”Divine Shockwave!”
—”Shadow Step [Divine Profession]!”
—”Edict: Death!”
Soren had no intention of prolonging the battle. This was the mental world created by the Demon God of Fear, essentially the enemy’s home ground; the longer it dragged on, the more unfavorable it would be for him. The Vampire Son was recovering too quickly, so Soren decided to unleash a series of powerful moves, quickly bringing the Vampire Son to a near-death state and ultimately ending him with ‘Edict: Death’.
The Vampire Son died on the spot.
While Reinhardt’s power was indeed formidable, Soren was no longer the person he once was. His current strength had improved immensely compared to the past.
As a deity of medium divine power, even the Vampire Son found it difficult to last a round against him.

The handsome face of the Vampire Son twisted with a hint of madness as he charged toward Soren once more.
His state had fully restored.
There were no visible signs of injury; if there was any change, it seemed that his strength was slightly greater than at the beginning. This was something Soren couldn’t comprehend; he had no idea what powers the Demon God of Fear had retained in this space. The only thing Soren could be certain of was that this space had some connection to the Throne of Fear in the real world, as even opening a crack was not easy for him.
—”Plane Teleportation [Divine Power]!”
However, Soren was prepared to break open a gap by sheer force, regardless of what this mental space depended on.
He directly activated his divine power, instantly entering his divine form, and then reached out to grasp Vivian and Lilian before tearing a rift in space with his divine power, directly teleporting them out.
The entire space shook violently.
The Throne of Fear, built in the center of this world, began to collapse, and Soren let out a sigh of relief after sending the two little girls away.
However.
At that moment, the expression of the Vampire Son suddenly turned grotesque as he howled in rage, “Since you insist on sending them away, then you’ll stay behind!”
The body of the Vampire Son twisted.
His originally handsome features began to morph into something monstrous. His body swelled at an astonishing rate, and bone spikes emerged from his back; a pair of twisted horns burst forth from his forehead, and a barbed tail appeared at his tailbone. The Vampire Son’s appearance had drastically changed, now resembling a demon from the Bottomless Abyss.

The power of the Demon God of Fear comes from the Three Death Deities, which means he shares the same source as Soren.

After growing weary of the restrictions of his divine profession, Ye Ge bestowed his power to the Three Death Deities, one of whom gave birth to the God of Slaughter—Baal, and the God of Tyranny—Benn, who died and was resurrected to expand his divine profession into Fear, ultimately falling to the current Demon God of Fear. The current form the Vampire Son has transformed into is that of a Slayer filled with a sense of destruction.

Invisible forces of law bound the space, and after sending Vivian and Lilian away, Soren found himself temporarily trapped within this world.
Yet, his expression showed no signs of panic. He and the Demon God of Fear shared the same source of power. Although Soren currently existed with only [Medium Divine Power], far inferior to the [Strong Divine Power] of the Demon God of Fear, the true body of the Demon God had died; he was just an avatar controlled by a soul, insufficient to threaten Soren’s life.
—”[Slaughter] Domain!”
—”[Death] Domain!”
The forces close to the source clashed violently for the first time.
Soren’s inherited bloodline of the Son of Slaughter and the fused Death Domain spread throughout the entire space, while the Slayer form of the Vampire Son enveloped the throne with powers filled with [Destruction] and [Fear].
—”[Shadows] Divine Profession!”
The home field advantage still belonged to the Demon God of Fear, which was slightly unfavorable for Soren.
Therefore, he activated his shadow divine profession in an instant, and he saw everything in the world shrouded with a gray haze.
The sky turned gray.
The earth turned gray.
Everything seemed oppressive and unsettling, and in this mental world, Soren’s shadows even directly feedbacked onto everything, making the entire space appear as if it had transformed into the Shadow Plane.
A silvery glow appeared.
Soren’s figure vanished from his original spot in an instant, and the next moment he appeared behind the Slayer amid a tempest of attacks, immediately revealing countless wounds on the Slayer’s body.
—”Profane Word! Death!”
Divine light flickered.
Soren’s figure left no trace behind, appearing out of thin air anywhere he wished. This was the power of the [Shadows] divine profession; Soren was the master of shadows, and within the range of shadows, he could traverse without restriction.
End!
The Slayer in the form of the Vampire Son was killed once again by Soren.
However, at the moment the Slayer died, a fierce and terrifying shadow of a demon suddenly appeared, furiously pouncing toward Soren as if attempting to seize his will.
The Throne of Fear gradually crumbled!
The entire mental world was on the brink of annihilation; the true body of the Demon God of Fear had finally appeared.
In the space where Vivian and Lilian had already been teleported away, the frenzied Demon God of Fear attempted to seize Soren, who had also absorbed the power of the Deity of Fear.
“Overestimating yourself!”
Soren gazed at the incoming shadow of the demon, his entire body transforming into a golden humanoid figure, directly embodying his divine form as he crashed into the Demon God of Fear.
The collision of souls erupted in an instant!
The Throne of Fear shattered completely at that moment, and the entire mental world rapidly collapsed. Soren’s golden figure shot up like a pillar of light into the sky after a violent impact.
He then completely vanished from this world.

Crossing space took only an instant. When Soren shattered the will of the Demon God of Fear and returned, he unexpectedly found he had not returned to Modo, nor to his physical body.
He appeared in a dismal world.
A real world!
In front of Soren was an incredibly wide river, flowing toward an unknown destination, and countless souls drifted within it. In the distance, he could vaguely make out figures dressed in tattered black cloaks wielding massive scythes, patrolling the riverbanks. Observing everything before him, Soren seemed slightly puzzled, murmuring, “River of Underworld?”
“How did I suddenly end up in the Underworld?”
This is the domain of the God of Death.
The Shadow Plane is closest to the Material Plane, and the Spiritual Plane lies adjacent to the Shadow Plane. The Spiritual Plane is a forbidden zone for the living, where most creatures are spiritual or undead. Below the Spiritual Plane flows the River of Underworld, which starts from here and splits into several branches. The main river flows directly to the Sea of Underworld, while other tributaries lead to the Hell of Bartok, the Bottomless Abyss, the Gray Wastes, the Hell of Scorching Flames, and other lower planes.
Very few people enter the Underworld.
Only the most daring Soul Thieves are bold enough to sneak into the Underworld to steal souls from the servants of the God of Death.
Soren is now in the Underworld.
Moreover, he appears in a soul form. According to the width of the River of Underworld and the patrolling servants of the God of Death, he likely found himself near the Sea of Underworld.
