How did I suddenly arrive in the Underworld?
At this moment, Soren also felt a bit puzzled, because he still remembered what happened at the last moment. He had suppressed the power of the Demon God of Fear; after all, a deceased deity couldn’t make a big wave. Therefore, the defeat of the Demon God of Fear was already destined in the final moments, so it simply attacked Soren directly, attempting to take control of his mind by utilizing Soren’s connection to fear divinity.
How could this possibly succeed!?
Soren’s will was as strong as steel, and he immediately transformed into a divine form to crush the spirit of the Demon God of Fear.
As an ancient and powerful demon god, the Demon God of Fear preserved the essence of its soul on the Throne of Fear within its Kingdom of Fear after d*ath. In other words, as long as the Throne of Fear was not destroyed, its spirit and soul could continuously be repaired; even if its divine will was suppressed and killed by Soren, it merely weakened it and could not truly eliminate the Demon God of Fear.
Simply put, the Demon God of Fear was like a Lich, and the Throne of Fear was its life box.
“Something feels off.”
After defeating the spiritual entity that the Demon God of Fear sent for the first attack, Soren marked the location for teleportation to Modo City before the space shattered, preparing to return directly to his physical body.
Under normal circumstances, deities using the divine ability of “plane teleportation” would hardly encounter accidents.
Thus, Soren’s appearance in the Underworld was likely due to ‘artificial’ reasons.
The being capable of interfering with his plane teleportation and positioning it in the Underworld must possess divine power far exceeding Soren’s; such existence would be rare even across the entire multiverse.
As for connections to the Underworld, there seemed to be only one!

Just as Soren arrived at this conclusion, he heard a calm and indifferent voice slowly say, “The newly ascended God of Shadows, the person beyond fate, welcome to the Underworld.”
“I was just thinking about when you would think of me!”
God of d*ath – Ye Ge.
Although Soren had not yet seen the other party, the voice that directly resonated confirmed the other’s identity, and Ye Ge’s last statement also proved itself. Some exceptionally powerful deities possess sensory connections; to mention their divine names aloud is not necessary, just thinking about it can trigger a divine response. The moment Soren thought of God of d*ath – Ye Ge, divine sensing occurred, indicating a divine power that far exceeded Soren’s understanding.
The mist ahead gradually dissipated.
A pair of grim reapers draped in tattered gray-black cloaks appeared before Soren, and ahead was a boat of the River of Underworld, flanked by necromancers holding books and pens—these were true natives of the Underworld.
The God of d*ath rarely personally receives souls.
For deities who govern the divine profession of “God of d*ath,” their duty is to maintain the laws of d*ath in the multiverse and the movement of souls. In reality, the true reapers that mortals occasionally see are merely servants selected from their followers. Just as Soren prepared to assist his “Otherworldly Messenger” in managing his divine kingdom, the reapers are another form of Otherworldly Messengers. Entities similar to Prayer Weavers do not get trapped in the Underworld; they possess a touch of d*ath divinity, traversing between various planes.
“Lord of Shadows. Please follow me.”
A raspy voice called out, and a dried-up necromancer gestured towards Soren, slowly saying, “Our master Ye Ge wishes to meet you.”
This necromancer did not know how long he had existed, but his soul was filled with a decayed aura.
The ancient God of d*ath – Ye Ge loved to record d*ath, and many of his followers began recording various aspects of d*ath during the Silver Era. The necromancer before Soren probably had a profession level exceeding 35; though his name might not resonate throughout the multiverse, Soren sensed that this necromancer’s strength would not be significantly less than that of some famous liches from the Age of Nesser.
This was the essence of time.
As the oldest God of d*ath in the multiverse, Ye Ge likely had many such servants.
“Mm.”
Soren did not feel the slightest bit of fear; instead, he was a little curious and directly followed the necromancer toward the position of the boat on the River of Underworld.
Ye Ge was not a deity to be afraid of.
In some sense, he was the deity who most disliked meddling in divine affairs; even the once chaotic and insane God of m*rder received only a hint of his scorn, with Ye Ge showing no interest in intervening. Long before the rise of the Three d*ath Deities, Ye Ge had grown weary of his divine duties, having almost relinquished all his core divine powers, retaining only a portion related to recording d*ath. In the subsequent years, most of Ye Ge’s tasks revolved around assisting the “King of the Dead” in becoming familiar with his divine duties.
Ye Ge had lived this way ever since relinquishing his divine profession.
He adopted a near-reclusive lifestyle, first assisting the Bone King – Milco, then the King of the Dead – Klanvor, helping them maintain the laws of d*ath while refraining from engaging in any divine conflicts.
Today’s Ye Ge is of “Weak Divine Power.”
He has almost no worship in the mortal realm, with just a slight recording found in the oldest texts. There is an inscription in the Eastern Kingdom that records a small passage.
“The ancient God of d*ath – Ye Ge, having grown weary of fulfilling his duties, was nearly forgotten by the world. He relinquished most of his divine powers to the God of Tyranny – Bane, the God of Slaughter – Baal, as well as the Bone King – Milco.”
“After the demise of these deities, he continued to serve the rising God of m*rder – Sherek and the King of the Dead – Klanvor. He is only loyal to the position of the ‘King of the Dead,’ so if the current authority fails to perform the duties of the God of d*ath correctly, he would secretly carry out subversion. Ye Ge and the former God of d*ath Milco maintained a strained cooperation, while his relations with the current God of d*ath Klanvor were quite harmonious, yet he still harbored a disdainful mocking attitude toward Sherek.”
There is an abandoned ruin in the Eastern Kingdom that contains this small passage.

Why does the God of d*ath – Ye Ge want to see me?
The first thing that came to Soren’s mind was “the person beyond fate,” and Gloria also mentioned he was someone outside the river of fate. According to the Northern Witch’s divination, the person beyond fate is filled with endless variables, with the most representative being Sherek and Klanvor, who respectively inherited the divine professions of d*ath.
Ye Ge, despite being powerful, did not instill fear in Soren.
His power primarily stemmed from the God of d*ath – Ye Ge, and this being had almost ceased to interfere with matters of mortals and deities.
