Chapter 52: Epilogue
When the audience finally snapped out of it…
Everything around them had returned to normal, as if the wild happenings from just a moment ago had all been one big illusion.
The Grand Performance ended in an unbelievable blaze of color, and that’s where the charm of the show lay!
Of course, Night Star had already wrapped up the cleanup.
Ever since she discovered how to use wishes to enhance certain abilities, she no longer needed to team up with the Singer to deal with the aftermath.
Everything was just oh-so-much easier.
Besides, she had just fulfilled a string of wishes, and her mental energy was almost all zapped out.
Now she just wanted to hurry back and catch some serious Z’s.
Planning to sleep until evening.
Just moments ago, Night Star had used her powered-up Existence Interference to turn the “abnormal” things showcased during the performance back into “normal,” weaving it into their common sense so no one would bat an eye.
With Existence Interference, she permanently hid away the bizarre details and everything slid back onto its normal path.
“Ugh~”
After watching the show, Night Lan yawned wide, clearly struggling against sleepiness.
In short, she also wanted to catch some serious shut-eye.
Who knew that being part of a Grand Performance could be so tiring? Absolutely no starring roles in the future!
And the Group Leader, come on!
All he did was handle the opening and closing, while she carried the bulk of the magic effects.
He clearly designed the show in hopes that she’d take over his position, right?
Well, here we go.
Her role had not only shifted from Audience Performer to Performer, but now she was a Magician too! Who knew she’d be gaining more roles?
She had originally only wanted to be a simple audience member who sat back and enjoyed the show!
“Sigh~”
Night Lan sighed dramatically, looking like a deflated balloon.
Beside her, White Paint seemed to sense her fatigue.
“Night Lan, are you really that tired?”
“Ah… just a little bit sleepy.”
Night Lan didn’t try to hide it.
It was perfectly normal to be sleepy at this hour!
In response, White Paint turned her back to Night Lan, squatted down, and whispered, “Let me carry you. You can nap on my back for a bit, and I’ll take you back to the lounge afterwards.”
“Ah~ That’s a huge help, thanks~”
Night Lan didn’t feel the slightest bit embarrassed as she plopped onto White Paint’s back, savoring the warmth of the girl, and sleep hit her like a freight train.

White Paint heard Night Lan’s steady breathing—she must’ve drifted off!
“Looks like she really was wiped out.”
And all she did was watch a performance!
What was up with that?
White Paint decided to chalk it up to Night Lan simply wanting a quick nap.
“Let’s head back to the base to rest; it’s also time to prepare for our return to Yun Chang City.”
White Paint said to White Fish and the others.
With the end of the Grand Performance, it meant their holiday was officially over.
They’d been lounging in Pinghaishi for a while now.
Bai Yuan had approved a vacation, but it wasn’t this lengthy.
Wasn’t it supposed to be a week? But here they were, four weeks in!
When they returned, they’d probably get an earful.
The reason they weren’t being forced back was likely because someone had a soft spot for a certain little Loli.
As for White Paint, Cai Xun, and Bu Jie, they were enjoying this little long break.
They weren’t just fringe Night Watchers, they were frontline combatants!
After chilling for so long, other Night Watchers would probably be green with envy.
Of course, what goes around comes around.
Returning home likely meant inheriting a mountain of tasks, and it would be a long time before they could rest again.

Night fell.
It was now past eight in the evening.
Night Star woke up in the theater’s room, cuddling the soft, warm Wish Princess.
Turns out her “nap” lasted a little too long.
Looks like she had really overdone it during the Grand Performance! And the Wish Machine, well, she made good use of it—resulting in half a day spent snoozing away.
If she napped that long during the day, how could she expect to sleep at night?
Might as well head to Star Eclipse Nation and clear out some of that pesky Star Eclipse pollution, taking advantage of the side effects to catch another quick nap.
Just like a sleeping pill!
Of course, it wouldn’t matter if she didn’t sleep at night since the theater troupe members don’t need to sleep.
Worst case, they could just chat and have fun. She’d surely enjoy a delightful evening.
On the other side…
Night Lan had just woken up from the lounge bed and couldn’t help but rub her little tummy.
“Ugh, I’m so hungry…”
After sleeping from lunchtime until now, she hadn’t had dinner and was really feeling it.
Fortunately, Neko Shinna was in the lounge too. Seeing Night Lan awake, she immediately got up.
“Are you hungry, Night Lan? I’ll go make you dinner. I promise it’ll be delicious!”
“Then I’ll count on you~”
She said it again.
Having a little Loli chef around is just the best!
Not only can she whip up tasty dishes, but she can also get all cozy with her.
Chef Loli truly rocks!
But there was only Neko Shinna in the lounge; the other little Lolis were nowhere to be seen.
“Where’s everyone else?” Night Lan asked curiously.
In the kitchen, Neko Shinna quickly replied.
“They’re all busy packing because we’re supposed to return to Yun Chang City tomorrow.”
“Oh, that makes sense. I guess it’s time to go back.”
Unknowingly, they had been living in Pinghaishi for almost a month.
After all that they experienced, it felt quite dreamy.
If it weren’t for the Rising Sun Theater Group happening to move to this city, Night Lan and the others might’ve already been on their way back.
In any case, she still wanted to see the Grand Performance.
Since the Grand Performance had now wrapped up, there was no reason to linger in Pinghaishi.
After all, they were only here for a vacation.

The end of the Grand Performance marked a change of venue.
Night Star had no intention of heading overseas, at least not yet.
Even if they did go, it would just be a vacation type of trip; sending the group to perform abroad? No thanks!
Overseas, the performance environment wasn’t nearly as welcoming as back home.
The Star organizations over there probably wouldn’t cooperate with the troupe like the Night Watchers.
So, Night Star planned to use Probability Interference to lower the chances of going abroad.
Plus, her inner longing would, in a way, nudge the Wish Machine to support her feelings.
Next, they should be sticking to domestic cities.

In the theater troupe.
Mo Rabbit sat in the audience section, tilting her head up as a glint flashed in her eyes. She seemed to sense something.
“Looks like the transfer has begun.”
Moments later…
Mo Rabbit stood up, planning to head out and take a peek.
But a silver-haired figure was quicker than her, eager to be the first to discover the scenic views of the new performance location.
“Whoo-hoo~ New city, here I come!”
