Just then, his phone rang.
Looking at the caller ID, he realized it was from Cui Yong with likely some news, so he said, “You guys eat without me for a bit, I’ve got some business.”
Seeing Dragon Brother’s departing figure, Li Long Long shouted, “We’ll just sign you up for something if it looks good!”

Cui Yong was eagerly waiting for the call to connect with Dragon Brother.

With that kind of money, he’d rather buy a hassle-free property in a nicer area.
Dragon Brother chuckled, “Not much to it; I’ve just always had a soft spot for ancient buildings.”
“Oh, really?” Cui Yong didn’t press further.
Eighteen and already smitten with ancient architecture? He figured it was best to leave it at that.

Cui Yong relayed the final details of the talks to Dragon Brother.
“However, they’re a bit anxious. They can accept your price, but they want the full payment upfront.”
“Not an issue.”
With Dragon Brother’s word, this deal was as good as sealed!
Cui Yong immediately made sure Dragon Brother was well-fed and happy. If Dragon Brother drank, Cui Yong would’ve popped open a bottle to celebrate!
His commission was looking pretty sweet today!
The entire afternoon was spent at the real estate office verifying property rights.
They signed the contract and handled the payment and title transfer.
Dragon Brother had expected the process to be a hassle but was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything went.
“Congrats, buddy!” Cui Yong handed Dragon Brother the property title.

“I do,” Cui Yong said. “I can point you to a trustworthy one. With me in the middle, they’ll treat you well.”

As they stepped outside, Cui Yong asked Dragon Brother, “Where to next? I can drive you.”

Lin Wan Ning looked at Dragon Brother with a soft smile, “I thought you were too scared to see me. Here, this is for you.”
Dragon Brother caught the item and softly said, “Wan Ning, how about we go for a walk?”
“Sure!”
Strolling down the tree-lined path outside the school, Dragon Brother pondered for a moment before deciding to be direct. “Wan Ning, to be honest, I’m not really thinking about dating right now.”
“I respect everyone, and even more so, feelings…”
“Does Big Brother hate being with me?” Lin Wan Ning replied with a downcast gaze.
Dragon Brother shook his head.
“Then does Big Brother hate kissing me?”
Dragon Brother paused for a moment.
Lin Wan Ning giggled, “Silence means no hatred! So this isn’t complicated at all!”
“What do you mean?”
Lin Wan Ning said earnestly, “Big Brother doesn’t mind seeing me, nor does he mind kissing me. Since yesterday’s awkwardness isn’t going to trouble us, let’s just keep our relationship like this for now.”
