Back home in winter, when roasting fires, Hu Yu Ying would often roast sweet potatoes too. They were awesome.
She thinks, this year, she’ll bring Dragon Brother home—and she’ll roast sweet potatoes just for him.
Watching her cheerful expression, Dragon Brother takes a deep, steady breath. His initial hesitation turns into firmness, as every smile on Ah Ying’s face makes him realize he can’t hide it anymore.
He grips his hands tightly in nervousness and faces her solemnly: “Ah Ying has something… to tell you.”
Before he can finish, her phone suddenly rings.
Hu Yu Ying glances at the screen: “It’s Wan Ning.”
She answers the video call.
As the call connects, Wan Ning and Li Qing Xue’s little faces pop up onscreen.
“Are you guys together?”
Li Qing Xue, looking at Hu Yu Ying, subtly glances at Wan Ning beside her, then softly agrees: “Yep, tonight we’re taking a bath, just missing you.”
“Hu Ying, we haven’t bathed together in a long time. Let’s do it tonight,” Wan Ning invites.
Seeing their faces, Hu Yu Ying also wants to go, so she looks at Dragon Brother: “Big Brother Dragon, we’re going to take a bath.”

“Qing Xue, Wan Ning, Big Brother Dragon, hurry! Hurry!” Hu Yu Ying, seeing them waving from her side, clings tightly to Dragon Brother, acting cute for him to be faster.
“No rush, no rush. We’re already here,” Dragon Brother laughs at the impatient little girl.
He can’t help but think—she’s closer to them than to him.
He pulls over.
The three little ones gather again, cutting the scene a bit awkward for Dragon Brother, who feels a little unnecessary.
“Big Brother Dragon, you can go back first. We’re going to wash up,” Hu Yu Ying teases with a grin.
“Alright, call me when you’re done, I’ll come pick you up,” he replies.

“Take it slow on the way back,” Wan Ning also softly reminds.
After watching the three girls walk into the bathhouse, Dragon Brother turns to leave.
“Ah Ying, we’ve already booked a room.”
Earlier, Wan Ning and Li Qing Xue had already taken care of the reservation.
“Tonight, don’t go back,” Wan Ning gently suggests with a smile.
Seeing Hu Yu Ying hesitate, the two happily persuade her—she ends up not wanting to leave.

Watching their antics, Hu Yu Ying — a little annoyed — mutters, “Actually, I’m starting to regret this.”
“Regret is useless,” they reply.
“Tonight, we belong to us. Give up on regrets; no more struggling,” they coo.
While three people share two bathtubs, fun is abundant.
Without Dragon Brother, their friendship is even more enviable.
After the bath, feeling relaxed, they arrive at the hotel Wan Ning and Li Qing Xue had prepared earlier.
A big bed that easily fits three beautiful girls.
Shedding her clothes, Hu Yu Ying jumps onto the middle of the bed, her long hair tossed aside, and with a bright smile, invites Li Qing Xue and Wan Ning to snuggle up on her shoulders.
Sleeping alone and sleeping together are worlds apart. The feeling? Impossible to describe, but she loves it.
